Lovely family park. Live the new changes top the playgrounds. This is a great place to have an event, take your kids to play, or go exercise. I love that even though its surrounded by a neighborhood, when you go to this park you feel like youre wrapped in the comfort of nature.

Always a lot going on this time of year, but the kids love it. For the ones that dont know, they have updated the pool, looks great.

Visitor side of the football field is a mud pit. Shows they truly dont care about visitors coming to see their kids play ball. Other than that, the park was very nice

Beautiful park with a duck pod. I went at night to look at the stars. It was quiet and clean, also easy to access.

Love the walking trail add in the pond with the water fountain. Zen all day. Go for walk here the deers will not run away from you.

The walking trail is so beautiful, Annas can brew any distance youre up for. The trees provide shade on hot days.

Had an afternoon out with two of my grandbabies, making memories. Havent been to Dellinger in a few years. The new bathrooms and playgrounds were very safe and clean. A little more shade would have been nice, as it was a very hot day.

My grandkids love this pool. I just wish there was a way to keep young adults from cutting in line in front of smaller children at the diving board. Its frustrating to see, but facility is nice.

Clean well managed pool with plenty of lifeguards and different sections for swimming that are age or ability appropriate! Low cost lots of fun and plenty of lounge chairs and tables under large umbrellas for eating.

Love the pool. Really large. Admission is very reasonable. Life guards really keep on eye on things.

Huge park! A small lake with fish and turtles. Great for kids. Could be more trees surrounding the play area, but still great place to have a picnic and play with your kids.

Nice park, but the lifeguards were a little overboard it seemed. There was a sign that said stay off the diving platforms, but no sign that said you couldnt be on the concrete divider between the pools. A lady probably 55 to 60 years old was rudely yelled at along with others. Maybe calm down or put a sign or barrier up. Be nice to people! I get it if its a serious safety issue, then yell like a Drill Sergeant!

I took my dog here to go running, what a beautiful park! There was a lot of wildlife to see and the trails are very well Caleb care of. The pond was great. Wish we could hAve gone on the gazebo, but it is for reservations only. But it was still a great place and very close to my house. Plan on going back and making this my go to running place!

Cartersville is still a sweet town to live in or visit. The locals are also friendly. Weve just recently moved to Kennesaw to be close to our son since we are retiring, but we lived in Bartow county for 23 years, so Ill be happy to give yall tips about this great county and the surrounding towns.

I experienced the Senior Aquatic Center complete with an under-water treadmill and stepper. The facility was extremely nice and very clean. The pool water was just the right temperature even though the temperature outside was a chilly 25°. Various pool equipment was available for my use. The locker rooms were very modern and offered all amenities. Great place to relax or exercise.

BEWARE IF YOU ARE A SMALL FEMALE BY YOURSELF!!! I HAD A VERY CREEPY, INAPPROPRIATE, AND UNCOMFORTABLE ENCOUNTER WITH AN EMPLOYYE AT THIS PARK!!! Took my dog here to walk. Before I had even gotten out of my car I was promptly confronted by security telling me my dog had to be on a leash (he was rather aggressive with the way he was speaking to me as if he expected me to be a problem though I’ve never been here before but maybe he was having a bad day or thought I was someone else). Not an issue though as she’s never off leash and she’s also an old dog and very well behaved. In this time, I saw a few other couples get out of their cars with dogs and he never said anything to them. This encounter made me feel unwelcome so I didn’t stay long. As I was leaving, he was driving towards me through the parking lot and waving his arm out the window and screamed at me to slow down. I looked at my speedometer and I was only going 10mph (the speed limit is 15mph). I ignored him and continued out of the park. Out of my rear view mirror I saw him turn around and get behind me. Weird because I thought security guards were supposed to stay IN the park and it appeared he was the only one on duty I saw in that area but maybe he was taking a lunch break or running an errand? Anyways, it just so happened that every turn I made he was right behind me. I suspected he was following me so I looped back around and took a really round about way to my next destination; going in circles, weaving in and out of traffic. It became VERY obvious he was following me. This continued for 25 minutes all the while I am shaking and TERRIFIED because I’m a small female with only a frail, elderly dog with me. My phone was in my bag in the back seat and out of my reach and I wasn’t going to stop and get out of my car to get it to call for help. I finally turned into my destination, 6 miles away from the park, and he drove past me but as he passed I could see him sticking his neck out and eyeing me very closely. This incident scared me sooo much and about brought me to tears. There was ZERO reason to follow me or try to intimidate me as I had done absolutely nothing wrong in my 15 minutes in the park. There was no question of whether or not he was following me; he 100% was because what are the chances he happened to take the same exact zig zagging route to the exact same destination?For anyone involved in the Cartersville parks department, this happened on Saturday February 16, 2019 at about 2:30pm. The man was older (maybe mid to late 40’s), white, scruffy facial hair (not quite beard but not clean shaven), dark blonde/light brown short/buzzed hair, stocky and wearing a navy blue puffy jacket and a baseball hat, and driving a small white pick up truck with orange traffic cones behind the passenger seat (but couldn’t get the truck #). I have made numberous phone calls to the parks department and tried to report it but haven’t received any responses to my messages. This incident is reminiscent of the Dennis Raider/BTK story and was terrifying.
