As a mother of five very busy, active little bees, I have grown to just adore this park.It has a wide variety of activities to engage kids of all sizes and abilities(There is even handicap accessible equipment!). I especially enjoy that there is a covered pavillion with benches and a fence around the perimeter. A few key points I think a parent may want to consider:The playground has a mesh rubber foundation, so there are no woodchips to dig out of shoes.One of the slides are super slick when wet. My kids didnt seem to mind flying lessons, but it may be a little bit of a heart attack for others.The walkway is an uphill climb from the parking area, so it can be a bit of a haul for us out of shape folks.All equipment was overall well maintained. There were some minor repairs needed, but nothing that seemed like a safety issue.Our family enjoys visiting here for a gentle, but fun afternoon. I suspect its a bit of a hidden gem. We dont see other kids there very much, but it could also be the times/days we go. My kids and I definitely feel it deserves 5 stars!!

I grew up off Rome St. I learned to swim at the City Pool at the big rock building next to the park. A small baby pool and large pool where the parking lot is now.The park had a slide made of the bright shiny metal. Had to be at least 10 or 12 ft. Long. And a merry go round that never needed greasing. My first love I met at the pool. Teresa Huey. I still carry a torch for her. The happiest moments of my long life were found among the park. Thank you for all the wonderful memories I still cherish.today.

Great park to take the kids to! I have concerns for safety in areas. Also considering its early fall think it should be better maintained. But dont let my negative comments stop you from taking your kids there. I can nit-pick too much at times.

The equipment is fairly dated and could use a little TLC, but my daughter absolutely loved this playground. I did as well.

Park has activities for kids but the upkeep isnt the best. Missing swings and reconnect that needs repair. Today caution tape was wrapped around equipment to keep children off of it.

Dont like the fact people come up when youre trying to get your kids out of the car begging for money for food when the pantry is right in front of their face more like money for drugs but the play ground it self is great

Its an awesome little park. The kids go wild there. I know my daughter use to, who is now 15. We use to not say the word park around her we would spell it p.a.r.k. cause she would say i wanna go to the park!! They have swings, slides, monkey bars, a water sprinkler ( where your kid runs thru like a car wash and get soaked), and a pavilion area for parties. It also has a small bathroom house at the bottom. Very nice for kids who like to run wild.

Great park, the bathroom is usually very clean. They have equipment with sprinklers for hot days, plenty of parking plus very close to the square and library. Safe area and a big gazebo if you want to grill out or have a party. I just wish everyone in the community would help keep it nice, every time we go we have to pick up trash. That’s just the public’s fault though, it is what it is.

It was very nasty the picnic area where I had my granddaughters birthday party they were trash everywhere it was disgusting but the playground was good and the kratt trash cans will full to in the bathrooms are nasty

Good place to take your kids to play, needs some maintenance done on it though.

My children love this playground! They always want to come here. The bathrooms near it could be cleaner and so could the picnic tables but overall its a nice little playground.

I am here weekly for work and the bathroom is horrendous!!! Even the children cry and don’t want to use it. Toilets always stopped up and the smell is something out of a horror movie I promise!!

Cool shade pavillion, awesome playground with the soft bouncy ground, and within walking distance to the library and the square. There us even a mist machine part of the playground!

This is by far one of the coolest parks Ive ever taken my daughter to! Its really cute, I love the fact they have turf throughout the whole thing and they have water stations where the kids can cool off.

Great fun and family play ground! There is also a pavilion where there is shade and tables to sit at.

Kids are happy to play. Only concern is that the matts that are at the end of the slide and under the swings tend to get pretty hot, so keep your kids in their shoes.

It would be nice if they replaced the missing swings and if people would stop smoking in the bathroom.

My kids enjoy this playground. It is in the sun. It is not enclosed and close to a busy highway so toddlers must be watched very closely. There is a shaded pavillion with picnic tables. The traffic noise is not peaceful. The tiny building is a restroom.

They fixed a lot of equipment that was getting old and wiggly, my kids love this park its their favorite one to go too and the public Library is just steps away, pretty cool.

Its a great park for a small childs birthday.

ONLY park in Carrollton I take my kids to. Dont have to worry about being bothered for change. I ALWAYS take food to the pantry thats there in case someone needs it. And theres usually some food there when I go so it makes me happy that others are thinking of the less fortunate as well.

Had a birthday party here and it was really nice. A built in grill was a added bonus although we didnt use it. Nice place for kids to play and nice that there is a public restroom.

Its great for hot days cause of rhe spray ground plus the turf kids play on is soft so if rhe fall ot wont skin there knees.. Theres pleny of jungle jims tire swings and slides too ware any child out its awsome
