Such a great park!! My kids love coming here. Its always busy but there is enough to do so thats its not crowded. The temp of the water is on the cool side which is nice during these hot summer days.Shaded seating is limited but there are some trees to sit under close enough to keep an eye on the kiddos. Has a sand volleyball court, walking path, water slides (kids 10 and under to enjoy, they are small), a basketball court, playground and a Little Library where you can donate or exchange books. Something for everyone.

This park is wonderful, especially for littles intimidated by the big water park on Rosemeade. I have the most fun at Rosemeade, but the 2 year old has the most fun at Oak Hills.Its also much easier to keep track of multiple kids at this much smaller location. The bathrooms are close to the park area and there are a few benches.There is a fun playground next to the splash pad when kids want a break from the water.Large groups may prefer Rosemeade.

Bathrooms are usually clean. Good area for kids to run around. Not usually very crowded.

A lot of family fun! But be careful on those steps. A child slipped and cut open his face while we were there, and 2 of our children slipped on same steps and gained big bruises. As long as theyre careful, its a good time!

Nice Pad with fun equipment. 2 slides! Theres a little creek feature thats fun for the wee ones. And a fountain. Could benefit from some sprayers away from the main event so the kids can spread out more. Would also benefit from a bit more shade adjacent to the pad. Another awning on the south side of pad would be a great addition while the trees in this brand new park mature.

A great relief to the summer heat. It gets the kiddo outdoors and socializing with others. Its walking distance from out house so the convenience is nice.Its usually pretty crowded at select times, so avoid the weekends and most afternoons if you dont like big groups of kids that cant properly play with others. Theres only one shade pavillion right next to it and a couple benches. Some additional shaded seating closer to the waterpark for parents would be nice, but overall a great addition from the city.

Its an amazing park! I dont mind driving almost a hour to bring my kids to play BUT the water does have chlorine and is super strong n the dry side need some shade. The kids will burn up on the slides because its so hot and no shade dry or wet

The splash pad is fantastic! The bathrooms are open! There is a sand volleyball court, a play structure, gazebo/shelter and lots of grassy open space. Improvements could be made by adding shade/coverage over the play structure and fixing a broken swing. Overall, we love this park!

Fun splash park for kids, pavilion, playground, restroom, volleyball net, basketball hoop. Simple, small ish, but nice.

A hot mom let me borrow a swim diaper. Dont worry there are hot dads too.If you have a little one bring a small float ke toy for the kids area that will float down the stream. There is a playground and volleyball court in walking distance. But most important HOT MOMS!

Love the pavilion area right between both the splash pad and the playground! Perfect spot for a summer birthday!

Its free! Its clean! Kids love the slide! And a dry park a hop, skip away.

All 3 of my children ahed 5,4, and 2, got hurt here. They all came home with serious cuts and scrapes. I know kids get hurt, its part of being a kid. But all 3 of them got seriously deep cuts being here when that doesnt happen at any of the other splash pads we go to throughout DFW. Will not be coming back, plus it is overcrowded and barely shaded for the parents.

Great time to hangout and play with my 2-1/2 yr old. Perfect for ages 2-8.....

When its Texas hot out, take your kids here. The splash park is on the smaller side but its easily manageable by one parent. There isnt much shade for you to sit so bring sunscreen.

It was so much fun. First time visiting one of these and my little tyke loved it. Stayed there for a couple hours and he’s only 1 1/2. There’s a park on the other side of the splash area and it was overall memorable. Will visit again.

Its a good park. Splash park closes during winter. But curious why the restrooms were closed. 2 stars because the restrooms were locked and we had to go to nearby Kroger.

Better for older kids that can play without adult assistance unless you really want to get wet. Until next season when my son can really enjoy the slides. It was really fun though. Great place for a quick picnic on the grass or a party. Pavilions and grills.

Very nice place for kids upto 10 year. You will not feel hot. Well maintained free park with restrooms in 10ft. There are many fountains and 2 slides. It provides enough excitement for kids. I really like it very much. Never thought it would be free.

Went when it was 60s and breezy. It was a little too cold to fully enjoy. The main play area has non-stop sprayers/misters which makes the cold day even colder. On a normal warm day it is perfect

My girlfriend told me about this park, and Im so glad she did because There was fun awaiting when we arrived! The slide in the splash pad is one youll find at a water park, water coming from all directions. The children had so much fun. There is also a regular playground a couple feet away with an volleyball net too!! Seating under a pavilion available.

Great public park with a splash pad. Fun for all ages! Just watch the younger kids while the big kids are there too. Can get crowded during peak times! Best time to go with toddlers is early morning while the big kids are sleeping.

This is a great splash park. There are two slides on the water feature and a smaller calmer water feature for small children or toddlersThere are bathrooms near by and two benches covered by a shade. I wish there were more shade and benches directly around the splash pad.

Great splash pad for 3 and up! They have options for younger children but it is all on concrete, other than the little river bed, which is still hard. Still a great splash pad with a covered pavilion for eating as well as a park

I really have no idea why exactly the city put this little splash park here in the first place, but they did and it’s WAY too small for anyone really. It’s more for kids 8 and under. In the summer, it can get extremely crowded (at least 30 people come which is insane for such a small splash park), but other than that, its free which is probably why a lot of people come here.

A good amount of shade and a variety of ways to play in the water from infants/crawlers all the way up. My 11 month old had a blast!

Ok, it your over 10, DONT GO! its supposed to be for younger kids. If you have younger kids It would be perfect for them. But if your older, its not worth it. Its for the little ones.

My son loves this park and I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. City of Carrollton is cery slack on fixing broken items here. Also parents let there kids run wild as in playing in water at bottom of slide or walking up slide. Has caused many head to head collisions on slide.

This is a great way to spend time with your children, grandchildren...etc. lots of water fun, and its free ... So when your tight on funds, heres a place to go to. Plus had large area for BBQs and birthdays parties.

It is a great park for children and family, great splash spot and playground for the kids, beautiful and amazing sunset, it does clean restroom, one of the best things is the parking spot which is super close to the park. I had a wonderful time with my family there.

We always have a good time every time we come here. It gets crowded but people start to leave around 7:30p

Awesome community splash pad! My 1 year old had a blast. A bit crowded when we went but it was a Sunday.

My little ones liked this place a lot! It was a little crowded but they were able to do pretty much all the features. The slide is a bit small for the bigger children trying to enjoy it too but hey it’s a clean and well kept place. It does not hurt it’s pretty new as well.

Nice walking park. I bring my 8 yrs old daughter & my puppy to walking around. You can BBQ & picnic. also have small water fountain play ground and regular play ground for kids. city of Carrollton just put new public restroom also

Great park to bring kids to or get in a nice walk. This park has nice amenities. The splash pad area is lots of fun for kids on a hot day. There is also the playground area, basketball area, and volleyball area. They have a parking spaces which I really like lol.

I wish people would be 100% honest when they write a review. The design and set up of this Park is not family friendly. My wife and I took our kids here just this weekend for some summer splash fun. So we thought. Parking, Not ideal and over crowded. Limited amount of shade to sit and enjoy your family fun. The Splash Pad is way to small for the amount of kids and parents that are there. Its very hard for familys to have fun because you are always watching out for other people and their kids, rather then enjoying your own family. This is Texas HOT it makes no sense that there is no Sail Shades over the splash pad and Sail Shades over the playground were the slides and swings are. Not only are the slides, swings hot. But all the playground equipement is so hot your kids can not play on them. This is just not because of summer. If it was 80 degrees the playground equipement is plastic and rubber yes it will get hot year round. This park falls short with parking, shade, space and poor design. My family and I will not be returning to this park. Wasted trip and because this park was so over crowed we only spent 30 mins here. On a good note. There is a open field for maybe kicking a ball. But you still have all the other issues. Not worth it or the time.

This park is super fun! Love it and the kids love it. My son did hurt his face on the dumping water bowls though. The water bowl filled up then scraped his face when someone pulled it over.

Great little park. Regular playground along with a water playground. The water is recycled through so afterwards we could smell Abit of urine on the swimsuits...yuck...and the bigger orange slide, slides into a larger container of water, yet the children tend to pile up there.

LOVE this place! Plenty of shade for parents, and lots of picnic space. Only complaint is the bathrooms... they are always wet and messy.

It was fantastic fun. Took kids there for a birthday party!!

We met some friends here today from about 1:30 to about 3:30. It was extremely crowded. That usually doesnt bother us, but there were several parents putting their small children into the splash area at the bottom of each slide. These same parents would yell at bigger kids coming down the slides if they accidentally knocked into the smaller children. What did they expect? The smaller children should not be playing at the bottoms of the slides! Those are NOT wading pools for small kids! They are splash pools for the kids coming down the slides! Very rude and inconsiderate people!

Range of equipment for babies- 6 or 7 years old. Shaded seating on one side, large gazebo behind, dry playground in same park. Awesome awesome. Easy to keep an eye on kids and still sit in shade. Open and inviting environment.

Love taking my boys here! They have a blast! Splash park is so fun! Pirate ship park is pretty warm in the summer so its nice to cool off! Bring a chair and a picnic. And parents PLEASE stay close to the splash pad while your kids are playing! As long as this happens, play time is more fun and more safe.

This park is amazing! Very fun and safely made. Very nice that there is a dry park right next to it where the kids can still play and dry off. Best time my kids and I have had in Dallas.

Horrible. Parents don’t monitor their kids and it is really small. There really should be an age limit because the bigger children who arent being watched run all over the little ones. This is more of a baby splash park. Also the daycares brings bus loads of Children who aren’t watched closely.

This place was awesome though it gets REALLY busy and I was having a small panic attack a child might drown when all the kids were going down the water slides. It made me want to go into lifeguard-mode and pull out a whistle. Not for the faint of heart during peak times
