I love walking and nothing is better than having the Carrollton Blue Trail right by where I live. Its so beautiful and today, November 10th, 2019 I did 5 mile walk. I never got frustrated or bored during my walk because the environment was so lively. Everyone is friendly. Great for riding bikes, roller blading and coasting. I defentily recommend walking your dog or bring the kids out to play. Its very safe. I couldnt find a problem at all except the lack of water system to drink. I did get dehydrated and had to get back home. Next time ill being water.

Everything I need when I want to go for a walk, spend time with the ones I love, and just get out of the house. It’s quiet. Families bring there kids. You’re able to fish, just saw someone go out on their own personal boat. Miles worth of trail to walk, take your dog, or cycle through. I was told it’s a great spot to see the sunset. And it’s along a pond! Great for all occasions.Beware....! I o lot saw one full picnic table and 2 total benc

Im not sure what Google thinks the blue trail is... Its a walking/bicycling trail that follows the greenbelt in Carrollton. Its a completely paved trail with wide lanes. Currently goes from Hebron to Old Denton. Good exercise, beautiful landscape, and friendly people.

Nice trail that goes along a creek. The trail is clearly marked with blue paint, and the concrete sidewalk is in good condition. The trail crosses a few roads. The scenery is great, surrounded by wild flowers. Many benches along the way to sit and relax. Busy on Sundays with many dog walkers.

Can be crowded for cyclists. Trail isnt very wide for cyclists either. This trail also stops on several streets breaking up any momentum on a bike you might have. Carrollton, like most Texas cities treats their trails as an after thought. It would be nice if theyd extend this trail.

Great trail for walking or jogging. Its about about 5 miles, so great for those long runs. It feels very safe and you pass by several parks with water fountains (no restrooms though, but theres a Walgreens near where the trail crosses under Josey). You almost forget youre in the middle of a city with all the nature and wildlife!

Beautiful spot. But we couldnt go fishing here today because the brush has gotten too thick around the pond. Our fishing line would get stuck.

I happened to find this place today while riding around with my dog. I got out and walked about for a little bit. It was late evening, almost 8pm or later. There were Ducks and all. I couldnt tell how far the trail went tho. There are benches to sit in front the water but the bushes are so high...u could barely see the water.Omg when I got back to my truck, there were a million wierd bugs all over it! I thought they were fleas! I dont know what they are but I do know they bite. I had to fan them off of my car window with my dogs blanket. Some were inside too because I left the window cracked. It could be because of the recent rain or just being near the water. My dog was not affected, thank GOD!I need to go again a bit earlier in the day to see the trail a bit better and hopefully not attract those bugs again!PS...thats my arm in the pic...looks like a butt right?
