Really nice and clean park. The trail is easy and picturesque. The table area was covered and there is a summertime water spray area that looks fun. It is small as far as play equipment for kids. The bathroom was clean

I love this little park. Some friends and I Mt Bike, exercise here weekly. Paved, horse, gravel and dirt trails. Theres usually a low volume of people here. Fun for the kids in summer time at the water park. Two small but very nice lakes and multiple water falls. Well maintained.

Great place to bring horses to the equestrian section. Lot of places to ride and plenty of room for trailers. Also great place to walk dog and they have cleaned area of trees around one of the fishing lakes. Fish anywhere you want. Tent camp sites are great close to bath house and restrooms and fall weather is right time to camp and make memories for kids.

Whether you want to camp for a week or a weekend. This park has you covered. There is plenty to do to keep a family entertained. Splash pad, fishing, hiking. It is tucked away back in the woods but still close to stores should you get and realize that you have forgotten that one thing you need. The tent sites all have a power supply but you have to the bathroom/shower house to get water from the outside faucet unless you bring your own. All sites also have picnic tables and fire rings.Truly is a nice place to enjoy a little down time and relax.

RV sites are fairly level and easy to get in and out/ apparently they have done some work since initial opening/ there is a camp host/ but never saw them/ didnt need them, @$30 for overnight- no wifi / or any extras, no bath house available-that i could find, none listed on the map we received; there is a lone bathroom near the pavilions with running water/ and the walking trails are a mosquito pit.-wear bug spray if you walk- They have apparently college kids manning the office at check in/ maybe they will learn some people skills as they get older/and develop better manners, they both just stared at me trying to open the door, and when i pecked on the window neither of the two attempted to come open the door for me as it was jammed shut- they just yelled its open push harder! other than that -the actual rv spots are nice; but you do have to book ahead of time to get a spot/ no drive up allowed. I did have to call a couple times to confirm my reservations as I didnt receive an email confirming.

Whomever designed this Campground has NEVER had to level camper! Im sure it drains very well, but not level at all! Plug boxes are in the way of most slideouts. Our neighbors drain was higher than his septic line. (Gravity people!) The whole place has GIANT Black Ants! The playground in the camping are was only 2 swings! SERIOUSLY?!?! Splash pad was closed! ONLY Bathhouse was in the tent camping area! Trash all the way back at the entrance. We were worried about getting in on time. We were told when making reservations to just call Friday and get the code. We called all day Friday and got NO ANSWER! We made it with 15 minutes to spare thankfully. The next morning we had to leave early for the GA Games. So we had to leave my card number with the camp host after we checked in to pay for day 2. NOT SAFE OR REASONABLE TO ASK US TO JUST WRITE OUR CARD DOWN AND LEAVE IT WITH STRANGERS!!! Not Impressed at all, will NOT be back!

Weve been for a few Scout camping trips, and had a great time. The tent sites have power outlets, and the water taps are by the bathhouse. The sites have a picnic table and fire ring each, and enough room to park and set a tent. Plenty of trees around to hang a hammock from. Playground within walking distance, and trails for short hikes and horse trails. Its close to home for us, so Id consider returning for a quick and easy campout

Little Tallapoosa Park is one of Carroll County Georgias hidden gems. The park is well designed with paved access to all amenities including public restrooms, a very nice splash park, bike trails and tent and RV spaces. Access is $5 for parking if you are not spending the night. All the amenities are new and modern. Perhaps my only minor complaint is that the splash park drains onto the surrounding play and picnic area and creates muddy walking for about 15 feet around the play area itself.

The park is very nice. Great horse trails and parking. Separate area for horse camping. Large shaded maneuverable sites with picket posts, picnic tables, burn rings and trash cans between each site. Water and electric. RV sites have sewer hookups and great views of the big lake. Bath house with nice clean showers. Laundry facility. Nice tent sites too. Overall a great park, however, the staff leave a lot to be desired. Weekday office staff were moody and unhelpful, doesnt communicate with weekend staff and flat out lied about a situation as did the camp host and weekend staffer, and the maintenance supervisor, who presented himself as the park ranger is no more than a glorified babysitter for the inmates that do his job, is an absolute instigator that sits in his county truck and scouts deer all day. The park manager was unhelpful as were the Codes Dept. Carroll Co. should be embarrassed to have this group representing them. Would be a 5 star park, and is, as long as you dont require assistance of any sort that will interfere with their staffs day.

Full hookups available. places for everything from tent camping to huge horse trailers. They are doing construction right now and having problems with water pressure. Verizon seems to be the only cell that gets service here without a booster. Good showers (better without the spider issue) with laundry right next door. Nice trails but no markers and weak map available.

This is one of the best county parks Ibe been to. The only reason I canT give it 5 stars is because they have yet to build a dog park. If they do that and do it right, it will be one of the finest parks within 100 miles. It would put it over 5 stars-! Great folks ,too.

It’s a beautiful park we used to tent camp at and we haven’t been there in a few years. We called to see if sites were available the day before and Beth answered the phone and said “Sites are available” in a cold tone that I remarked on to my partner. We packed and drove two hours the next day. The entire tent loop was completely empty and we chose site 24. The next morning we learned that site was booked the next day and we would have to move and that tent campers now can stay only 5 days. Then they have to leave for 3 weeks. We asked Beth why when we called she hadn’t let us know sites can now be booked in advance and which ones were free, and that there is a 5 day limit (instead of the standard 2 weeks.) Beth lied and claimed she told me on the phone. I don’t know what has happened to her but she’s clearly unhappy at her job. Then the prisoners came by at 730 am with leaf blowers and tractors. A lovely way to wake up? Could they wait until 9 am perhaps? So we packed for two hours, drove for two hours, set up camp for two hours only to find the next day our site was advanced booked and we have to move, and that there is now a 5 day limit and we were awakened by the metallic roar of the leaf blowers.IE management is not great right now.The limit on camping is their way of dealing w a homeless vagrant problem. I think there could have been a better way. But if that’s the situation in this pretty park then let callers know on the phone so they don’t waste their holiday.

A very cute park off the beaten path outside of Atlanta. We stopped for a night on our way across the south, and although we wouldn’t have wanted to stay much longer than one night (not much to do nearby), it’s a beautiful park and the kids loved running around before bedtime. We were driving east to west on I-20, and this was the perfect location to get through Atlanta before stopping for the night. It’s about 10 mins off of I-20, is secluded and quiet, and was easy to get in and out of. A storm blew in at night and through the morning, but we would have loved to use the very nice looking playground if we’d been able to.

I used to walk my dog at this park which would take about 30 minutes. Then they started charging 5 dollars to park. Given I would walk several times a week - the price far exceeded its value. Definitely not worth it given there are no other attractions available to someone interested in only walking/exercising. The most alarming aspect of this public park was the staff ride around in golf carts patronizing guests. It truly is a peculiar place. Definitely NOT worth 5 dollars per visit!!
