This was very cool. The little creek thing was so nice. There is also a swing area. Many other things.Although not everything was working when we went but it didnt really take away from the experience. The restrooms were clean and didnt smell bad at all. There is fishing here too. I havent done that part yet but I am looking forward to it.

This is such a great place for a family day out. There is a playground with gigantic slides, swings, a little tunnel climbing thing, a river like splash area and a little kids play area on one side of the park. Then theres an indoor restroom with covered shelters. In the other side of the parking lot is a really nice paved trail system and this neat greasy hoo with climbing rocks. They are building a huge program center at the entrance which we are very excited to see (its so big I thought it was the new library). And right now you can see the construction which was a huge draw for my two year old.

This is one of my favorite area parks. They have a great play area for kids with a couple water sprinklers for kids to play in. There is a beautiful lake with lots of vegetation and wildlife to be seen. You can also fish there on the dock. There are hiking/biking trails all through the park, as well as a nice shelter. My dog loves it there, too!

Great park in the suburb of Carmel near Zionsville and easy access off 116th street. Park includes a ton of children playground activities, greenscape, and a retention pond for viewing, activities, and fishing. With Covid19, it has been very busy and packed lately even on weekdays. Weekends are very busy especially with summer approaching.

This is a gem of a park. They playground is perfect for all ages with a swing area, toddler area, multiple slides (some come out of a silo!), and climbing area. The splash pad flows into a creek area with climbing rocks. The best part of the kid area is how much seating there is (tables, benches, large rocks, grassy hills, etc). Its really easy to keep track of your kids here.Outside of the kid area, there are a bunch of soft trails (great for dogs!), Walkways over ponds, a large open field for activities, climbing rocks, and several picnic shelters. Also, bathrooms!

I took my 11 yr old son and my 10 yr old nephew to west park and was pretty impressed with the size and speed these huge silo slides had to offer. I had a blast on the giant human web (me at the top) and I went down the straight steep slide one time and ususally I love to go on giant slides multiple times but once was more than enough for me. anyone with knee or ankle issues be warned you will need to use them to land on your feet (not your face or butt) after being ejected very swiftly from said slide at the end. fun fun fun! will be visiting again soon.

Currently under going construction to expand park to the west of the pond. I am missing my favorite bench and hearing the wind blow through the prairie field behind it. Not sure I like this development. Part of the appeal of this park was the quiet open spaces and some of the hidden spaces of the paths. May have to move the rating to a 3 after this development. Very sad right now.It was a 5

Ive onlyl been a couple times, but this park is a real gem. There first time I went the Indian association was setting up to have a cricket match against the Pakistani team, so that was fun to watch. On the other swath of grass a friendly avid kite flier was performing stunts with 3 kites. In the fall the field and trees on the other side of the hill are stunning. I recently bought a drone and it was a blast to practice photo and video there. Love it.

I think the park itself is not a bad park. Pretty good walking trail, nice fake hill where you can see the whole park and maybe train your stamina ...We probably just got unlucky in our last 2 visits to this park. The first one was the rest room was not working and locked. And today the rest room was open, but as soon as I get in ... OMG! There were poop and toilet paper all over the stall ... Someone came in, had a poop explosion and then just left it there. How do you even just left everything after what happened in that stall is beyond me.

This park is top notch. It has amazing open spaces, long trails that weave in and out of wooded, grassy, and wetland areas. The play equipment is nicely maintained, clean, and well manicured. A small water park and stream are part of the area close to the playground so kids can change between experiences very quickly. Restrooms and shelters are available.

This is a beautiful park with an awesome play ground, unique creek-like splash pad, and fun trails to walk. My daughter loves taking walks on the bridge over the pond and seeing the turtles sunning themselves. This is a park we could spend all morning in!The only downfall is the lack of shade anywhere in the park. There are a couple of covered picnic table areas, but they are much too far from the playground to be of much use.
