The bartender on Friday night (8/21) was very friendly, humorous and patient no matter what the night threw at her. The service from everyone was amazing, my date and I had an incredible tasting. The sublime wine was phenomenal, and by far one of our favorites. Thank you for the great experience!!

It’s a very nice, clean and very well designed place that matches with downtown Carmel’s personality. When you enter smiley owner welcomes you in their center located bar with a nice chandelier along with string lights. Comfortable deep seating sets and colorful round room available for cozy conversations. I would not expect a backyard like this in the middle of Carmel downtown. Napa valley informational reel on their TVs are plus. Everyone enjoyed their vines and Peace Water Winery’s atmosphere in our group. Will visit more to taste their vines.

They are known for their dry wines. but that leaves those of us who like milder or sweeter wines very much lacking.

We used to love Peacewater winery but think twice about joining the wine club. They are very inflexible on swapping out styles of wine even when the price point is less & they dont include certain types of wine as part of your membership. We have been loyal customers that are now taking our business elsewhere. Peace out, peace water!

Peace Water is my favorite place to do a tasting! They have several wines, prices are reasonable, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the tasting rooms are fun and cozy. And, I love that they donate to local charities. I always bring my family and friends here! Love me some Peace Water!

Went on a Friday night- staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Business is also community focused with charitable donations and tips. Wine was great, definitely will revisit.

Stopped in for a wine tasting with my husband and thought we might split a bottle or have a glass of wine. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, which is why the review is high. Had the wine been to our tasting, I would give a full five. However, all of the wines were extremely dry, which we are just not used to. Pinot Grigio is about as dry as I like, and I was a little disappointed to see that no sweet wines were offered. Lastly, the price was steep in my opinion. Ive never paid more than $5 for a tasting in Indiana and felt that $10 for 5 wines was a bit much for this market.Overall, it was a nice experience and the staff couldnt have been kinder. If youre into dry wines, I highly recommend checking them out!

Scott the owner was tremendously helpful to my girlfriend and I in navigating the wine selection when we did a tasting there. Bottles are a little on the pricey side, but nothing ridiculous. 50% of profits go to various charities around 317 so at least its halfway acceptable. Beautiful layout inside as well as nice covered patio in back

Great wine and a great spot in downtown Carmel! My wife and I like the wine and experience a lot. Its a frequent stop before or after dinner for us. The seating areas outside (front and back) are great. Inside feels like a hip Cali tasting room. Half the proceeds going to charity makes it worth the money!

I hosted a baby shower for a close friend of mine here recently and I had to write a positive review!! It had delicious wine that was paired with a relaxing ambiance. I believe her name was Monica, but she was as nice as you could possibly get. It was a huge perk to us that they donate 50 % to a charity of your choice too. I cannot say enough positive things. Ill return, maybe this time on a date or something. Thank you Peace Water Winery

Wonderful winery that is dog friendly. They give 50% of their profits to not-for-profits, which is rare to see these days. The wines tend to be on the drier side, but they still have some good semi-sweets. The place is beautiful and very relaxing and intimate.

I really enjoyed the environment, our tasting wasnt explained it was more of a this is our nirvana wine. Didnt explain anything, also I probably wouldnt have tasted as many reds if the tasting menu had said they were dry reds or had a low RS%. The whites were tolerable and the service was tolerable as well. Overall I would only come back here for the awesome environment.

I’ve been a member at Peacewater in Carmel for a year. I enjoy the atmosphere, warmth, friendliness, and of course the wine! My personal fave is the wishful white! Steph and Rach, in particular, provide an exceptional experience. These gals are the best :) Love this winery and recommend to all!

Took my wife here on a date and did a wine tasting. The person serving us all but ignored us and acted like we were bothering him. He kept running over to the only other customer in the place to wait on him. Clearly he smelled a bigger sale with the other customer and couldnt afford to give is the time of day. Between the 2 employees in the place and only 2 sets of customers, youd think we could get some decent service and not be treated like 2nd rate humans. We will never be going back. Plenty of other good wine places around.

I was part of the group that was asked to leave on Friday night. To be factually accurate, we were told that we would have time to drink the bottle on the back patio, as they needed to clean up inside. Right after we opened the bottle, another employee came out and told us we needed to leave because it was closing time, not because of Indiana liquor laws. To be fair, the woman told us as she walked away that the outside liquor could get them shut down. Had we known that initially, we would have completely understood the urgency to get us to leave. However, the manner in which we were asked to leave and the passive aggressive attitude really lacked finesse.Further, my husband used the restroom inside just before leaving. Upon exiting, he heard the employees talking about us, which is just unprofessional and catty. The whole situation was disappointing and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Beautiful store but it masks this 1. Not actually being a winery 2. Having staff that knows nothing about wines 3. Being overly costly for a tasting in this region. 4.Not having ome regional wine in a rather decent growing region. 5. Having rude servers who were outright hateful to some of those who came in to buy from them. They claim to give to charity but given most regional wineries also do without making such a show of it this wasnt as exciting as it should be. I would rather go to any winery where people are less horrid.

World peace you say? Peace Water Winery is bringing us one step closer with delicious wine and generous donations to charities! They came together with Yelp and Indy Acts of Kindness to write #indyrandomactsofkindnesd letters and spread a little cheer in more ways then one! This was our first visit to Peace Water Winery, and we were pleasantlyimpressed! The atmosphere is quirky, but cozy. Bright colors, patterns, and trendy lighting. They also have multiple rooms that can be closed off for smaller private meeting rooms or maybe cuddle up by the cozy seating area with the fireplace, perfect for date night!Peace Water Winery is all about sharing the love to say the least! There are a variety of ways to give back! Either throw a tip into your favorite charities bucket, buy a bottle of wine and get a token to choose, or just buy a glass! @peacewaterwinery donates 50% of their net profit proceeds! Stop in to hear more or submit your favorite charity! Ill cheers to that! This is a family affair and Jordan, the founding familys son, was thrilled to give us the run down on his space. He sat down and talked with us about their dream and how they brought it to fruition, even going into detail on how the wishful white has a running family love story on the label. Although all the grapes are from Napa, this is an Indy only location. They just happened to meet a grower they loved and it was history from there! They even host fun events like Yelps Indy Acts of Kindess, Wine & Kind night, book clubs, and more to come! Stop in for a tasting, or even learn how to get free tastings when you become a member! Twain Tip: do the tasting, because these wines are completely different than anything youve had before! Then get a bottle .@twainindy

Everything about this place felt like it was trying far too hard, from the decor to the wine names to the wine itself, which was truly terrible. The company claims to donate 50% of profits to charities, a feat likely accomplished by the fact their wines are hideously overpriced for the quality. Additionally, there was very little information or focus on the selected charities - donations felt like a token gesture and not an honest commitment to the selected causes. The downtown arts district in Carmel is, however, overpriced and gauche so Im sure Peace Water Winery will fit right in.
