Interesting park and a lot of residents getting a water from here. Nice creak and having a good trail too. Recommend to have your picnic next to the creek.

We love the creek here. Its shallow enough for the kids to wade in safely. There are also some nice trails and the last time we came we saw an owl. There are also a few covered tables and of course, they love filling up their water bottles in the well. The only downside is theres no bathroom

This is such a great park with plenty of space to explore and take your little ones for an educational adventure. Like previous reviews stated its a lot bigger then it looks, being nestled in the Carmel community making it unique for its location. There is a well providing free flowing water that in my opinion is drinkable, however, drink at your own risk. The water is filtered but that is about the extent I believe. There is more information at the park when you visit if your interested in doing so. Overall its a great place, cant wait to go back.

The water is clean and good, most visitors respect the the park rules, and my friend picks up micro trash, every time she fills her jugs of water. Get yourself some uncompromisingly good water, and take a walk around the park.

Had a great time here today. The size of the lot is incredibly decieving. A great place for a small gathering.

This park is so much bigger on the inside than it seems from the street, but its small enough to hike in an hour or so and still take the time to properly enjoy your surroundings. A nice little place to stop if the 116th street traffic starts to get to your nerves. People go absolutely crazy for the natural spring water, filling up bottles and gallons jugs and chugging on the spot despite posted warnings to boil first, so Im assuming it must be some damn good water, though Ive never been brave enough to try it myself.

Didnt hate this place. My family has been going there since 1940s. The place has changed since then, but a great place to visit and the water, I think still taste great.

Flowing Well Park is a great little park. As the name implies, theres a flowing artesian well near the entrance - the water has been routed through pipes for more convenient collection.Theres also a little trail that loops through the woods, allowing you to explore and learn about the watershed that feeds the well. The only warning Id offer about at this park is that they tend not to trim back the growth at the edge of the walking trails, so in some places, youre going to be running the poison ivy gauntlet just to get through. Tread carefully!

Love this place! Such a great way to spend the evening with the family. Bring a few empty jugs or water bottles to fill up at the natural spring, and make sure to walk through the woods and play in the creek. Quiet, off the beaten path, and not busy. Just what we needed to end our day.

Quaint but underwhelming. Couple of scenic spots in a smallish walking trail but really overshadowed by residents(?) filling plastic jugs with well water, enough for the apocalypse(coolers and all). Otherwise a nice diversion directly off the main road with access to a smaller stream.

This is super fun and extremely convenient. I have drive by this dozens of times if not more and had never stopped. We have a few plastic jugs from the grocery to fill so I went by, zipped around the roundabout and drove back in. 2 mins later youre out of there. There is more park than the flowing well to checkout which I didnt have time for yet and saw someone taking out a fishing rod from their jeep to head in somewhere.

Love this park. It sits right on cool creak and has a couple of great areas where you can get down by or into the creak to play. Perfect for hot days, or if youre just looking for a a little splashy fun. Has a few trails through the woods that make for a nice walk as well. There is the spring / well there but personally I didnt think the water was all that great.

Wi
Review №34

The flowing well flow seems to be flowing strong again, but everyone would benefit from water tests with accurate published and confirmed results. Water still tastes great, but since the scare a few years ago when a leak was found, popularity has diminished. A published test result would confirm any suspicion about current status.

Such a great park. Unfortunately the parking is limited. Dont forget to bring a few jugs to fill with water. The nature trails are so nice. You forget you are surounded by busy roads and neighborhoods. Such a great place to go for a picnic or a walk in the woods. So much more than a well with the north sides favorite drinking water.

A great small park hidden on 116th street. Has a newly done parking lot. The well is always flowing with water, and you can even bring your own bottles to fill up, as you will see lots of people doing. There is nice path that turns into a trail that goes into the woods. There are a few small areas where you can go to the river, and one larger area. The larger area is quite nice and large. Can skip rocks into the river here, or bring your dog to play in the water. The trail itself is circular, so you can take either path from the entrance and will come out the opposite path.
