A very fun playground and park for the kiddos. There is a sandbox that runs through a creek through the center of the playground. It can get a little messy with kids playing in the sand, but they have a blast, and theres nothing quite like it at other parks. The sand is one of the main attractions, but there are still slides, and things to climb on and swings. There are walking trails that go by a lake. The park is clean and well kept. It is really a well maintained park that is fun for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors. I would highly recommend visiting.

This is an adorable little park. The sand is a great concept. There are sand wasps though that I wish they treated for. Although they dont tend to sting, theyre scary for the kids. Theres great hade here as well. While you probably cant spend more than a couple hours here, its too cute to pass up. Remember to bring your own sand toys!

I have so many great memories from this park!! Great shaded seating. Lots of climbing equipment for the 6-11-year-old kids. Safer and smaller equipment for very young kids.

We really like Founders park. My girls enjoy the littler playground, the trails in the woods and the sand. There is nice, covered pavilion with tables, restrooms and a drinking fountain. That said, if you have a child that elopes, this playground is a nightmare. There are several exits and only a low wall between the play structure and the parking lot.

It was a good time, as it always is at this park. Youll find rope structures youre able to and allowed to climb on as well as rock structures, same goes for those. There are swings, slides, and jungle gyms, if you will. There are also trails through the trees for the parents/older crowd. Really a place for all ages, I cant, as of right now, think of any negatives with this park.

Very nice park that is still evolving. Great playground for toddlers. Couple of soccer / lacrosse fields. Nice covered pavilions and clean restrooms. The pond is nice and attracts a good variety of birds. The city also does a great job with the wildflower plantings throughout the park. The wild flowers attract an even greater variety of birds as well as lots of butterflies and other insects. The paved walking trail around the perimeter is very nice as well.

A great park! There is a large amount of climbing equipment at this playground. There is also a sand river going through the middle of the playground. I appreciate the several shady spots scattered around the perimeter. There is also a covered area with picnic tables and restrooms. There are even a few big rocking chairs to sit in! The turn off can be a bit hard to spot from Hazel Dell, in my opinion. But other than that, I love bringing my kids to this park.

The kids LOVE this place! I really like how the park is closed in so it makes keeping an eye on your little ones easier. The park has a shaded table area which is nice for anyone to pack a lunch and allow the kids to run around as long as they wish. Just so you know, this place is surrounded with sand (it doesnt bother us but I know some people dont like it) If you havent been to this park is it a must see! Youre children will want to go back again and again

This is probably our favorite park. The play ground is built to challenge all ages. Rock formations entice bigger kids to climb, while caves provide fun for the little ones. Trenches of sand offer fun for all, as do the swings. Open fields are available for team sports. A covered area with tables and rest rooms offers space for family gatherings.

This park is centrally-located in the city of Carmel. The focal point is a large childrens play area adjoining a shelter with seating for perhaps 80 (but certainly large enough for many more). Restrooms are located in the shelter. The playground has a climbing rock, a larhe sand pit, four child swings and two toddler swings, and a large playset. There are three shade canopies in an otherwise very open play area.
