This was my first time at the Gardens. I met friends there to take some pictures and I was pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of the grounds. I spent a couple of hours there and still didnt see all that the park has to offer. Ill definitely be back!

Always a great place to relax, jog, or just watch the wildlife. One of the Treasures of Carmel. Definitely a cool place to go and spend an hour just looking around.

Beautiful area to walk around with your family or dog. Some good play areas exist if you have young children.

Neat park. Will be great in 10 years when the trees grow in and it feels less barren. Children garden is very cool, also looking forward to seeing it completed.

Pretty, but not what I was wanting for a park. Too much man-made landscaping and no gardens that really were impressive for nature photography purposes. Might be good for picnics and events.

Beautiful park dedicated with love for use by the community. Walking trails, water, shade, wonderful gardens, childrens village, and an amphitheater offering various events during the summer. We are fortunate to live nearby and can occasionally even hear the chiming of the two bell towers. A treasure to be shared with the whole family!

Hubby and I took the children and grandchildren-spending all day. The place was fantastic and the kids loved it. Lots of benches for us to rest and plenty of room to run, run, run. Many unusual and exciting things were available to see and do. We will do it again and often.

It was a very nice park with many paths to walk on and things for kids to see and do. While there were quite a few people here, it seemed empty on a Saturday afternoon as the park is enormous.

This park is the perfect place to walk around on a nice day. It has some lovely pathed paths, areas for children to run around, a bog, some art, just to name a few things. I came here on a random whim and was blown away by how nice this park is and wished I’d come sooner.

This is one of my favorite parks in town!! I call it a hidden gem, as most people that I mention it to, never been here. Well, I have promoted so much that it may not be a secrete anymore :-) It has it all: It is huge, never crowded, safe, well maintained, elegant, 2 big ponds, a lot of green areas, a gazebo you can privately rent (Ritz Charles), a bridge, a childrens mini town play area and many mature trees. There are always photo sessions happening and weddings.

We love how beautiful Coxhall Gardens are!

Great park to Walk/Jog, spend time with family.

I love walking my dog here in the evening. It is a beautiful and serene place. There are a lot of photographic opportunities also! If you visit during the day, they have a neat kids area with several play structures for make believe fun.

With small venue zazz, contemporary, and instrumental concerts throughout the fall months, Coxhall Gardens has become our Sunday relaxation point. A blanket or chairs can be placed easily in this roomy amphitheater style setting. The center Roman style pavilion with its columns and water features adds a beautiful touch to the early evening concert and there are no bad seats. Recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds!

Very clean restrooms and a great place to walk or play. There are historical sites here too. Great place to read, meditate or pull over to make a phone call.

We visited this lovely Garden while visiting our relatives at Carmel, IN. It is an amazing man maid park. The structures and nature makes a friendship here. This place is lovely green and you will be refreshed within seconds.

I love this park. Its an expansive, grassy park that the City of Carmel has put alot of money into making look pretty. Take a date here for a dope picnic or simply come here for a relaxing stroll. Im sure it would also make for a sweet wedding venue. There are fountains, a creek, lot of walkways, and a cool little village for childrens play.

Truly one of our citys jewels. We walk here as often as we can. We think of it as a little bit of heaven. The amazing thing is how few people go here.

We were here for an outdoor wedding but took some time to explore the gardens. Beautifully kept. The amphitheater is impressive - and a great site for pictures.I will be back to explore more of what Coxhall has to offer.

Beautiful place

Please read: Bad experience on my wedding day.I may have given this place a good star rating because it’s so beautiful. But I had went their for my after wedding pictures and there was a a wedding planner there that kept on sending us away from the area were we were taking pictures. She was saying over and over again that were we are taking pictures is near the place where the bride is going to come from for here reception. We told her that we were going to leave in a minute but she wouldn’t leave . So we couldn’t take pictures there. I felt really bad that day and afterwards. I didn’t feel like putting a review in until today. We were wearing our religious wedding wear and she still didn’t acknowledge it and one could clearly tell we had just gotten married. Since we couldn’t take pictures in that area and the other areas were a bit difficult to walk to due to our shoes. We had ended our after wedding shoot as the photographers were having trouble carrying all the equipment to the uneven grassy places to the side. I will never go back to take any pictures there ever again. Nor will I ever suggest anyone to go get their pictures taken their due to how disrespectfully we were treated on our wedding day. I only have 4 total after wedding pictures now.

Kids love running around all the nooks and crannies and paths. As of today (September 2016) it looks like it is in need of maintenance but, the kids dont mind.

Love the nature area! Found hibiscus blooming everywhere!! Dragonflies buzzing along with native bumble bees, crunching caterpillars and drumming frogs!! Flowers blooming all around.

We attended an outdoor concert tha Hamilton County Parks put on (5-7 p.m. Sundays in Sept.) It was outstanding and well attended.

Open and never feels crowded. Amazing atmosphere.

Gorgeous, incredible landscaping. Coxhill Childrens Garden: the tap for the river bed is off and broken. And beware of the bathrooms: the motion sensor triggered lights only stay on for 30 seconds and then youre plunged into deep darkness! (No windows) Thank goodness my phone has a flashlight....
