Ive lived in the area for quite awhile and hadnt realized this park was here, so I rode my bike over today to check it out. It seems like the main reason for that is that it is almost purely a local neighborhood park-- blacktop and some basketball hoops (modest disrepair, but looked usable), a playground for kids, and then a fairly nice pool. Unfortunately, the pool is restricted to people from the local neighborhood, so not much reason to visit if you dont live within easy walking distance.

It used to be a really good place, a nice place to swim with lifeguards that did their job. But this year is terrible, the actually lifeguards do a good job. But the pool caregiver is terrible. He yells at people when they do nothing wrong. And now you have to be 15 instead of 10? This place is ridiculous now Id rather just go to the rec and spend money than swim here.

Lovely atmosphere well maintained lawn excellent tennis court.

Great pool for the summer.
