This trail was a blast to walk. It is not stroller friendly so be sure to keep that in mind. There were tons of fun roots to walk over and little bridge areas for when there is heavy rain. We found at least 5 different types of fungus. At the end of the scenic trail there is one of the coolest ledges ever! Loads of cool angles, moss, dripping water. We will definitely be walking this again soon.

Short 1mile hike through wooded area. Ledges are pretty much just a cliff. Lot of debris in the way.

Da
Review №3

Easy and peaceful nature trail with a one mile nature trail and a half mile ledges trail, both of which take a gently sloping walk through a nice forest. Its especially nice to walk through during the fall when all the leaves have changed. An easy walk for any experience level hiker. There is a pit style outhouse at the parking area, but no picnic tables for a meal.

Small park but not crowded. Trails are easy to fallow but can be muddy in spots

I cant believe I never know about this park. Scenic trail that is unfortunately a little ill-maintained. The highlight of the park are the ledges, yet they have it all junked up with fallen trees and debris. The trails are also swampy and I agree with the other reviewer, LOTS OF BUGS. wear spray!

Found it enjoyable. Wooded trails that offer some changes in elevation and some rock outcroppings. Plenty of squirrels

Short 1.5 miles trail with beautiful trees with good elevation at some places. So close to hear of Strongsville. Directions need bit of improvement

A very beautiful and relatively unknown park, we did a nature hike and found some very cool stuff along the way! Only complaints would be BE AWARE of all the broken glass, it was all around the beautiful sandstone ledges making this gorgeous area a hazard for everyone. Also the trails were not marked very well making it difficult to navigate them.

It is a small park with good trails. Main feature is the sand stone ledges. The ledges are not the most impressive in north east Ohio, but worth a visit if you are in the area of the park.

Ra
Review №16

Small park that offers views of ledges. The Ledges trail is only about 0.5miles and it is quite muddy. Still worth the view at the end but overall doesn’t take more than twenty minutes to walk the trail and appreciate the ledges.

Very pretty. Lots of trees down after the storm and tornado events in the last couple of years. Fairly short trail at only a mile.

Love it here. Ran into 7 deer and further up the trail 2 more. Beautiful place to get away from the city. Turtles at the small pond, multitudes of birds, squirrels, and various plant life. Early mornings are often completely void of other people.

A great place for the entire family. The trails are pretty easy and for the most part in the shade. Its a bit muddy right now due to the amount of rain weve gotten, but its fun and easy to navigate.

Princess Ledges is a rather primitive nature park. The main attraction is the sandstone ledges and the profusion of deciduous trees. The trails are clear, but unpaved, and you will encounter many roots in the trail. Due to the West facing hillside, the lower part of the trail tends to be wet, and may be impractical during rainy conditions. It is definitely a nature park. There are few signs and no permanent buildings. Bathrooms are vault type, adequate, but lacking amenities. The peace inside the park is worth the visit, with autumn colors generally outstanding.

Love this little hidden gem! Awesome place to go hiking. Just be prepared for alot of ups and downs and to get muddy. I do not recommend this trail for strollers. I have seen people try it and it never goes well. It is not paved at all. It is very much a nature trail. Very quiet and peaceful. Awesome scenery. Great location. Does have outhouse style restrooms as well.
