Lovers Oak is a fun little spot in a quaint town of Brunswick. Youll probably only spend a few minutes here but Im sure some lasting memories for you and your kids. If you like taking pictures there are some great photo ops. We loved driving around and looking at the historic homes near by! We may be back some day for some more photos and memories.

The tree is in the neighborhood of 900 years old, if not more. It is worth having your pic taken with it, if you are in the area.

Beautiful tree that is historical in age. Has existed since the constitution, possibly before. Great spot to stop and take pictures.

This is an incredible tree!!! Oh the things it has seen! No charge to see it. It is well marked. It is in the middle of a residential area. I knocked 1 star off because there is no clear area to park. I did not want to take parking from someone who lived there. I am sure the people that live in the area would like some designated parking area. There was no one else there when we visited so it wasnt a problem. It would be a great place to take formal photos like graduation or wedding/ engagement. It is literally in the middle of the road. Definitely worth seeing, especially if your near by! What a spectacular tree!!

Really old and beautiful oak tree. Its very nice for picture taking and a neat plaque with some information on the ages of the tree. Additionally, the tree is very knobby with massive trunks so you can climb up a little ways and sit or stand on a limb.

Beautiful old tree with a sweet story. The only challenge to this area is the lack of parking. On street parking is first come, first served. A bench would be a nice addition to this spot.

This tree is absolutely gorgeous! The whole neighborhood is filled with these majestic oaks, the roads twisting and turning to accommodate their growth and preserve them. The surrounding neighborhood is in sad shape, unfortunately.

My fiance and I went to St. Simons island to celebrate our anniversary and couldnt help but stop to see a little bit of nature. This beautiful tree has limbs that extend to Geoege of the Jungle lengths and offers an interesting and romantic sight to be seen with your lover.

When looking at things to do in Brunswick during my 7 year anniversary trip, Lovers Oak was a MUST SEE in my itinerary. We saved it for the last day of our trip, our actual anniversary. Its age is historically impressive, but its size and beauty were phenomenal. Take a few minutes to drive and stop by. Its definitely worth a few minutes of your day.

Gorgeous historical live oak tree. The only downside is that it is in the middle of a road- you cant picnic there or have events. Definitely a must-see quick pit stop though.
