This is a nice campground not many people here while I was here. My only complaint and it is no fault of the campground is you get a lot of noise from the highway. Other than that the sites are nice and you also get a nice concrete pad right out your door. Will come back one day.

We LOVED this place! With my father 2 miles away and being surrounded by your own personal jungle was fabulous! Very secluded in your own little area! My kids loved seeing and feeding the local bunnies and watching the ships arrive and leave the harbor. Would have preferred the swimming area to be cleaned a little more. The only downfall is that we collect magnets when we stay places and they were sold out. Will definitely stay here again.

The location was easy to find and the camp areas were nice and clean. The staff was nice and helped us find our place with no problem. The check-in process was easy and quick. The place is beautifully kept in clean. Even the public bathrooms were clean at all times. The beach was amazing at the lake. The fish would swim right up to you. We got some bread and I gave it to my sons and they were feeding them. They would swim right over your feet. We will definitely be coming back, probably in the fall. It was a little too warm for tent camping!

This is an awesome park. We stayed 3 nights in the RV campground. Large, shady, gravel sites, most of which are fairly private. Big rig friendly, with some pull throughs and also deep back ins. All RV sites are full hook up with clean power including 50 amp. Clean bath/rest rooms. Great base camp for touring the Brunswick area. Would love to stay here again.

We have camped here for nearly 20 years. We started in tents and now are in a RV. Our favorite place to camp is here at Blythe Island. There is so much to do fish on the docks or launch your own boat, swim or fish in the pond, kayak, let kids play at park, grill, sit by campfire and enjoy company of those around us. Everyone that works or volunteers here are friendly, helpful, and work hard to keep this place clean. Which is a big job with so many restrooms and showers, grass cutting, sites to clean, and helping anyone in need, they stay busy. The RV sites are located under shady trees and bushes near a bike or hiking trail. They also have primitive campsites and group campsite. There is a nice park for the kids to play on and grills around for your use. If you get bored there are plenty of things to do in the nearby areas. Our home away from home we love Blythe Island.

First and foremost: if you are allergic to rabbits, avoid this park at all costs. They are everywhere. With that out of the way, the park is beautiful, the camping amenities are fairly priced with a good number of options. The playground could use some touch up, but the shelters and bathrooms are all clean and in good repair. The camping areas are a bit small and not entirely private, but still pretty nice.

The park is nice and I like the beach but I stayed at the primitive camp suite the neighboring camp blasted rap music till 2am someone parked in my camp site than refused to move and Ive had items stolen from my site on a good note the receptionist was fairly polite after she got off the phone and I put my face mask on

Check-in was quick and friendly. Wind your way to your site through fairly well trimmed trees. The road is kind of narrow but we got our 45er and toad in fine. All the roads and sites are sand so it’s messy. Pull thru sites are very long but narrow with a concrete pad. The concrete pad can make it tricky maneuvering into and out of the narrow site. Make sure your step clears it as well! Our site was pretty level. Lots and lots of foliage as if you are camping in a jungle. It’s great for privacy but our travel friend was claustrophobic and didn’t like it. We thought it was pretty cool! It is very quiet here. Definitely no satellite coverage with all the above mentioned foliage but they actually have cable. In a regional park! Verizon was 4g 2 bars, and their WII FI worked great – when it worked. Easy half hour drive to St Simons Island and Jekyll Island. Some very friendly bunnies in the area. There is a pier and boat ramp as well as a small lake with a beach area. The main detraction is the bugs! There are lots of them and they bite!

Had a large tree limb fall on my 5th wheel and put 3 holes in the roof. The county should do more to get rid of all the deadwood in the campground before someone gets hurt. Otherwise a nice place if you dont mind gnats and the occasional foul odor coming from the paper plant across the river. We enjoyed walking the numerous trails for exercise.

This park has nice lots with privacy (for an RV Park) with a good bit of trees and bushes between them. The lake is nice and you can fish, canoe, or swim in it.My family enjoyed the bunnies the best. They were always around the main office building and in the evening they were all around our campsite. We had lot 91 so we were not very far away from the front office. All of the full hook up things worked as they should 50 amp, cable, water and sewer. My only concern is that the county runs this campground and they had a lady doing community service by picking up the trash. I dont have a problem with the community service but the lady stopped by and was nice and welcoming to the campground. I thought she worked for them at first. 30 minutes later she was telling us (my child included) her story and run ins with the law. Plead guilty of driving on drugs but she said it was a joke and she has never done anything wrong. I believe she was on something at that time. My wife said out loud that she was uncomfortable and took our kid inside and it didnt slow down the sad story. I finally had to be a bit rude to get her to leave. I took one star off for this as we had friends in two different lots that didnt have the encounter. I dont believe it to be common but I want to put it out there as I have always felt very comfortable around other campers except for this lady.We still had a great time minus the 30 minutes of a crazy story. The good outweighed the bad I will come back here soon.

After playing a bit of phone tag I was finally able to book a week trip here. I am enjoying myself immensely. The campground area has plenty of room between units, its enough space to have privacy yet close enough to your neighbors that you can say hi.Convenient location with friendly staff who returns calls left after hours. It took a couple of days for my phone service to be stable enough to call back during the day but once I did everything was quickly sorted out and I was given a wonderful site at a price you have to like. I saved over 100 bucks that the local competition was asking for and they dont have hidden gate / park fees that other locations charge that I was unaware of until after its booked.WOW what a perfect place this turned into.Thank you!!

A campground with primitive camping as well as RV camping. It is conveniently located on Rt.303, has a boat dock, pavilions for picnics, trails for hiking, a pond for swimming, a dump station for campers, as well as non-campers, clean rest rooms, and a teeny tiny store.
