Fun place to try South Dakota wine from a “wine barista” from California who happens to be the wine makers nephew visiting for the summer (at least in August 2020).We were looking for something fun and different to do while visiting Sioux Falls and had a good time at this vineyard tasting and hearing about the wines, seeing the quaint barn-tasting room.Certainly worth stopping by to try for yourself to see if these varieties of wine are for you.

Shout out to Robert, who served up our wine tasting and wine slushies! (He was wearing a mask, but removed it for me at my request so I could take his picture). Enjoyed our visit and gracious hosts!

Active winery. Pleasant check in. Plenty of space to maneuver my 36 RV and 24 tow trailer around in. Had a Sunday afternoon music on the grounds with various outdoor games for people to play if so desired. Nice assortment of wines.

Really, really loved this place. And their wine! It was a great atmosphere and had fun and helpful conversations with the staff. Beautiful place. Im only giving it 4 stars because they need paths to their door...walking in grass is not comfortable and sometimes unsafe for people with walking issues. Also did not like having to cross the yard to use a sorta-potty in the heat.Otherwise...fantastic place and wine.

My wife and I went for a wine tasting tour of the Sioux Falls area and we stopped here. We loved it! Everything from the beautiful barn interior to the friendly owner and the great wine. We will be going back.

Went on a dreary Sunday afternoon. What an uplifting experience! So fun! In a beautiful barn. Had an amazing guitarist/singer! Wine tasting was great. I loved the hard cider. Creative Spirits was there so we decided to do a painting on reclaimed wood for our trailer as we travel the country. Wish we lived near so we could go again. If live in the area or visiting this is a must go!

Beautiful setting, great music and wonderful wine!

We visited Wilde Prairie Winery, did the wine tasting, loved their wines, had a glass and stayed for music entertainment that evening. There was also food prepared fresh which, of course, we ate, too. Bought a bottle to take home. What a lovely evening! The owners are welcoming to out of owners, share their experiences with wine and building a winery. It’s a beautiful place.

We had a great time wine tasting! Outside activities for our kids as well. Fun afternoon for the whole family!

This is my favorite local winery. The staff is friendly but not pushy. We were given a tour during a dead time and the woman showing us around was funny and entertaining. The wines are delicious and affordably priced. I highly recommend doing a sampler tasting! The wines sweetened with honey are our favorite. We left buying more than anticipated!:)

We had a great time and loved the wine. All 3 kids tagged along and had fun stuff to do while we tested some wine. We ended up with a couple of bottles and looking forward to attending some events in the future.

We visited Wilde Prairie August 1st and enjoyed our tasting and tour of the winery. Very nice SD wines. We particularly enjoyed the pear wine and the drier reds. What a lovely place and great hosts!
