Nice place and pretty decent playground, but i guess theres only a few people who visits this park these days.

I was looking for a park to bring my 2 year old to, and I remembered this park (came here when I was younger, like 16/17) its a very spread out park but i was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty cute little set up for kids around 2 up to maybe 7 or 8. The only thing really missing was an actual toddler swing. But my son had fun on the regular swings, i just didnt push him hard. Even by himself, he was having a blast, but then a couple nice ladies showed up with their kids, who were a few years older than mine... He had waaaay more fun then. Great neighborhood. I recommend going here for sure!!

Clean park. Quiet. Lots of space for kids to play and run. Playground equipment is in working order. Can walk/jog. Lots of parking room. Has bathrooms. There is a community/senior center and garden.

Usually has an available pavilion and has some set away from the playgrounds and paths if you want some privacy. Always has an open bathroom and its relatively clean. Barbeque grills at the pavilions. Basketball courts. Its got a cpl pokestops if you play Pokemon Go. Only real negative is that it has a tendency to flood after a heavy rain. This park isnt usually as busy as the others in Brandon.

There are two small play sets with slides, there are picnic tables under cover and two full basketball courts. It doesnt look very well maintained and there are no public bathrooms unless you go to the senior care center a little up the road. If you want to eat under the shade of the trees on a picnic table youll have a great time! You can bring your children too! But they wont be entertained for too long.

This place is bit shady!! Also is comparatively less clean. And there is lack of information avaliable here. There are 2 play areas in this park. One at each end. The play area at other side is good and more airy and clean. If you are planning to go with kids make sure you apply plenty of bug spray.. there are lot of bugs around. The place also has a basketball court and shelter a with benches. It is a very small park though and hence not good for a bike ride. But yes is comparatively good for having a descent evening walk.

My one year old found a small bag of white powder at the end of the slide. Weve previously noticed that individuals who appear to be homeless sleep on the picnic tables here during the day but they have always been friendly. Twice now we have come here and not been able to allow the kids to play on the playground because the older kids (16 years and up) are hanging out on it and just stare at you when you ask (nicely) if they will move to the tables to allow the kids to play. I wouldnt recommend this park.

I love this park. It has two playgrounds and the trees make it beautiful. They have little workout stations and its pet friendly.

Ok for kids

This was my third time here. The kids love it and have failed to notice the car full of druggies that are getting high, or having sex, right there in broad daylight... However, I have noticed and think its a damn shame nothing has been done to stop it.

A good place for kids, young ones and old ones to work off some of that XS Energy and stay in shape.

Nice most of the time but beware of the pot smoking, explicit rap music blasting group thats there on Saturdays playing basketball. The music was so loud we couldnt hold a normal conversation at the playground across from the court. Its sad that people like this can ruin a nice park for everyone.

My son likes going here but most of the time he is the only one there playing. I think there was only kids there once!

It the best park ever swings basketball court multiple play grounds and more, plus its free.

No water spouts or restrooms that we seen ... But had a decent playground

Its a nice place to have a get together. They have a couple playgrounds for the kids also.

Its free and it has restrooms. The 1st time the womans was clean. Two times after that it was not and the mens seems to always be locked. Also not enough shade or picnic tables. Id say thats why hardly anyone uses this park.

This park was a nice surprise. It really opens up in the back . However lots of trash. Drug paraphernalia and it looks like maybe homeless live there. Not judging about the latter just be careful. I was surprised at how much garbage was around. If properly kept up it would be amazing. Park ranger drove super fast back and forth and I tried to get his attention several times. Ill go back again when its not flooded but I just hope they put more effort into keeping it preserved and clean.

Lots of room for kids to play and your dog to run. Also has a nice size play ground for toddlers to play . also has a cop thats lives on the grounds.

Its an ok looking park, good for kids

Its ok. Trees cover up the sun, so thats nice. The play area for kids is adequate. Parsons Rotary park is definitely better but this is nice and convenient.

I take my fur baby their & she loves it, all the different smells plus theres alot of space to walk & be alone with my fur baby.

Really nice place been here a few times but really good its usually calm not to many people around here. I bring my dog here and gets to run around in all the open land. There os one part where there is nothing but land but the grad its a little tall other then that really good spot

Good park. Needs more shade trees but a good experience. Carry a stick to fend off wild animals like the coyotes and alligators that live in the nearby swamp. The shade trees are on located at the first quarter of the park with 2 basketball courts and 2 pavilions. The rest is just wide open swamp Marsh and a couple more pavilions. I like to walk my dog there; however, there are some shady characters hanging around. Be prepared.

Perfect park - Super quiet and secluded. I do wish it was better patrolled. People drive all through the field which is horribly destructive to the swamp ecosystems around the area.FYI there is a group who come in the early morning regularly with about 4-6 dogs and run them around off leash, all through the main walking areas. While I can appreciate the freedom this park provides (I let mine off leash too), it’s only appropriate to leash them with other humans and dogs around. You may know your dogs, but other people don’t. Better patrolling would eliminate some of these issues.

Grounds were well groomed despite a recent freeze. Clients seemed happy and engaged. Staff very helpful

An amazing place to jog, run, and bike. Also a good place to bring children. Another plus is its very close to a library.

Due to Floridas rainy weather most of the park is underwater but they have lovely paved Trails for riding bikes or walking lots of nature trails and places to play football exercise equipment covered picnic areas 3 playgrounds to choose from for the children restrooms and handicap parking

It looked like a beautiful park until we went in the bathroom and there was a used hypodermic needle in the toilet and the place was trashed. We wont be going back.
