Clean park, has awnings for BBQs and to hold parties. Nice Frisbee golf course and walking trails. Also, has a small beach on the main side of the park. Entry fee is about $5 per day, however the clerk is never there so that sign says its free. Great for fishing, walking Frisbee good, birthday party, and walking your dog.

Great spot for morning sunrise. There is a disk golf corse, easy walking access to the beach, Kayak launch ramp that is ADA, picnic tables, and plenty of areas for the dogs to play.

I did not know this was there! Very nice and relaxing. My kids really enjoyed themselves and actually thought they were at the beach again . It’s also very clean. It was great to see that there was a separate place for people who throw frisbee, which is great also. Can’t wait to go back.

If you want to enjoy nature alone, thats the place to visit!

This is the most challenging disc golf course in central Mississippi. Every hole has multiple locations. There are several over the water shots. Bring your driver and hope it isnt windy.

A charming, tranquil little park on the Ross Barnett Reservoir to visit for some reflective relaxation, stop over for a quiet yet scenic snack break on an otherwise hectic workday in order to decompress, or even engage in numerous small-scale activities or leisure exploration. Its not always about the size or popularity of any given park, and if you are looking for an easily-accessible rustic surrounding to immerse yourself in, then its the smaller, less-touristy, less-crowded nature spots which can turn out to be the most magical and rejuvinating.

Fun and challenging disc golf course here. A long 18 holes. The baskets are regularly moved between three different spots on most holes.

Played disk golf course. Well marked, fairly challenging, especially water holes.

Great place for picnics, kayaking swimming. BBQ grills available with picnic tables that are covered. Not to mention plenty of fishing spots.

Its good place

Definitely not the best place to fish. However, my husband did catch a bass using a purple worn. There is a perfect area to picnic and for small children - the water is only about 3- 4 deep.

Nice park! Clean and well kept.The pavilion s have fireplaces/grills and alot of space.

Great place to hang but if you have dogs, please make sure theyre on leashes. My dog almost got attacked by 3 that were just roaming and their human was just sitting on the ground on their phone. Nice place to have cookout and birthday parties on summer days. Always love the boat crowds! They bring life to the water!

If ur not careful u may step on glass or hot charcoal from some idiot dumping their grill at the sand line. Its good for little kids though.

Great place to watch a sun rise. Or a moon rise. We watch the super moon come up over the water here. Very nice.

Nice green area bodering the Ross Barnett Reservoir. Picnic tables, disc golf and boat launches. Pavillions with grills and seating areas available for rent by large groups. Recently added sandy beach adds a nice touch.

So glad we have a nice park system with gems such as this one. 18 holes of disc golf, i could stop there but then you wouldnt know about the other amenities such as boating, fishing, pavillions out the wazoo, a beach still under construction, and great views to boot.

Great place to play disc golf, ride bikes, fish, swim and hang out. Be careful in taking kids, as many people have their dogs loose. They have leash laws but no one follows them. :/

Great place for disc golf. There is a cost now, but thats understandable. Not extremely beautiful, but a pretty cool place to be. It would be my go-to park if I lived here.

Gorgeous atmospheric type place

Really nice place to go with friends and family also you can take your dog. It also has a little beach for kids to play in the water.

Great park. Disc golf course throughout the grounds and covered picnic areas next to the newly added beach. Beach is still under construction, but they have a few beachfront picnic areas accessible.

Nice Park with boat ramp, small beach, picnick benches, pavilions, frisbee golf, kayak launch and restrooms. Park restroom at gate needs updating and the beach could use some fresh clean sand (they use dredge spoils).

Wonderful sand beach and pier where all of the locals hang out. Plenty of room for picnics, walking and bike riding while watching the sail boats and the sunset in the west!
