Fun disc golf course surrounding the park. Good spot to launch the boat. Campground on site. Play set areas for the kiddos.. nothing too special but its got the essentials. Kind of a yucky beach area lot of weeds as well. Poor dock fishing.

Great park, nice little lake. Our 50 amp pull through site was clean and spacious.

Lots of room to spread out. No dump at the sites. One is in the park. Not sure if it is included in camp site price. Beautiful lake and beach. Showers in the bath house but you need to request a key. There is road noise which is strange because you dont see the road. For some reason they say no tent camping.

Very nice well maintained park. Not a lot of paved walk ways. Plenty of picnic tables. Small playgrounds. Pier. Grilling. Restrooms. RV camping.

Park was nice but we had to leave for about 4 hours and when we got back the stuff we left was gone. Got our table cloth back from one of the other campers who thought we had left for good but never got my jack pads back. Talked to other campers but nobody saw anything. So if you have a class A or c and have leave , take all your stuff with you or it won’t be there when you get back. Camp host couldn’t help.

Beautiful park and great facilities. Plenty of space to play and not too crowded. Numerous grills so you can cook. One of them is massive! Highly recommend this park

Second time Ive been here, labor day Saturday evening and although there were lots of RVs it was very quiet. Lots of good trees for those who enjoy a good hammock hang

Very nice park, it is large, plenty of room to roam around. A couple shelters, public restrooms, beach, camping. Really enjoy going here and sitting in the shade and enjoying the view.

Its a nice park on the edge of town with a beach and a boat landing. They also have camping but no tents allowed. Good place to hang with friends and grill something. Pavilions and lots of picnic tables.

We fish the river almost every weekend & this is where we launch! Great park, great dock!

Its quieter usually not as many people. There is a swim dock and a long fishing dock nearby for people who also like to fish. lake is attached to the Mississippi fyi. Playgrounds and frisbee golf so lil bit of everything.

Very nice place to being the family for frisbee golf, swimming, grilling or just playing around for the afternoon.

The park grounds are beautiful. Nice playground, beach, and open Green space. There is a campground and boat launch too. A large covered picnic area is great for gatherings. Many very old, large, beautiful pine trees.

It was ok. They had a few places the kiddo could play but there wasnt a whole lot we could do there. She got bored quickly. Nice place to have a quick picnic and you could swim but it was to cold for us.

Only park by the lake , and best park by the lake on brainerd.. dogs are a no no tho

Lovely park, great park for a picnic.

We love going to that park since its close to home and has a beach. We like to go jet skiing out there because its usually quiet and we can drop kids off of the jetski and they can still enjoy the beach.

Its a park with no swings and the playground equipment is garbage and very small. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is that the disc golf course is nice. Honestly the disc golf course is the only thing keeping the park alive.

We had a fundraiser at Lum Park. A nice setting on Rice lake, plenty parking available and rest rooms. Grills and trash receptacles are available. All in all, a GREAT place to be.

Fishing is great here. Plus nice camp ground. And park. Plus disc golf 18 holes

Wear shoes. Good disc golf course!! There are better beaches in Baxter and North long lake. The playground is scattered around the park which may encourage walking but makes it extremely difficult to watch more than one child at a time. Picnic tables, grills and some shelter with picnic tables that can be reserved or just used if no one reserved it. Campground.

Not a lot of playground for young kids.

Great park, lakeside. Has public beach and boat landing. Rv sites available, unsure what hook ups. Does have a dumping station. Large playground and grounds. Close to a gas station and grocery store. Rice lake accesses the river with lots of areas for fishing and recreation.

It is a older park very peaceful but yet extremely close to town quiet and you can have birthday parties here

Great sprawling lake side park. Only downside was it looked as though the playground equipment dated from the 1980s and had not been updated for safety or particularly well maintained.

Lum park is a great place to go for many reasons. The first one I can think of is there usually isnt many people there. As for the people that are there, they tend to spread out giving everybody enough space. They have a frolf course and camper camping. They also do have a small beach, fishing pier, and boat launch. Great place for the whole family.

Nice lake. Its Rice lake.good fishing, camping swimming. The lake hosts the Ski Loons several times in the summer Saturdays some Sundays. They are amazing water ski team! They dance and sing on shore and water and do great feats. Also they have a disk gulf which is fun. Stores close by.

Great park to kill some time if you have something going on in the afternoon. Its free to get it, there is a little swim area, you can fish, there is a play area for the kids.

It was a great place to hang out for two three days.. It was nice and clean and close to shopping and places to eat if you didnt want to cook in the camper on the campground. We will be back. Thank you for your convenience and for your hospitality.

A big Park. Right on the water with lots of places for kids too swim. Theres a boat landing and several swing set Jungle Gym type playing areas theres more than one covered picnic area and several Wide Open Spaces. There are covered indoor toilets

Good for get togethers and picnics. Beach is, well there is no beach. Very nasty and littered with cigarette butts and paper!! 83 degrees out and 1 kid is swimming.

Campground has water and electric with a dump station. No tents. Wi fi works good. Can take a bike route on bicycle from the park to the Paul Bunyan bike trail. Would stay here again.

Overall the park is well maintained, the bathrooms could use a little bit of work and the disc golf course would be much nicer if there were a map on how to play it.

Its a hidden gem. Very open, has a playground, disc golf course and bbq pits. A very nice park.

Today we played Volleyball. Just bring your own ball; Lum Park has two courts with nets...so much fun!

Nice place for 20 spots for Rv camping , no tents. Lum has lots for everyone. 18 hole disc golf . Play grounds . 4 or 5 pavilions. On the SE end of Rice lake in Brainard.

Lots of equipment for kids, good shade to walk around, its a big park also has a boat launch, fishing dock and a beach for swimming.

Very pretty city park that contains small RV campground with all back in sites next to lake. My site add good lake view. Lots of grass with pads being gravel & grass. No sewer but has dump station. Electric is 30 & 50 amp. Water pressure was good. No WiFi.

A very nice waterfront Park in north east Brainerd. Has a campground with electric hook-ups, and a dump station. Fishing Pier, boat ramp, pavilion, beach and disc golf. The park is well kept, the swimming beach is a little weedy. One block walk to a Caseys general store for supplies and goodies.

It was a very clean Park overall as well as kept up theres no trash near The Pavilions however the volleyball court does have a lot of rocks this is just a little uncomfortable. But there are some great scenes here I would recommend going to this park over any via parks in surrounding area

Rolling green grass, lots of shade and places to stroll or play. Great view of the lake. Perfect place for a picnic. Pet friendly. And you can launch boats and watercraft from a small landing or cast out a line from a couple dock-pier areas.

The park was clean and offered more than one play area for children and had a boat launch and a walking dock you can fish from with siderails. It also has camping and BBQ pits.

Had our annual family reunion here. Great place for getting together. The park was clean and beautiful!

I have been to this park for years it has a beautiful waterfall and its a great place to take children they have many Affairs during the summer time and its just a great meeting spot.
