I was here to take part in a senior walking program offered through the department of Parks and Recreation. Overall the park was clean seems very well maintained. The trails were in relatively good shape. The staff running the program for awesome!

This is a great semi-hidden park right off the bike trails next to RT 197. Have biked our son here many times, always plenty of space to run around and play until hes exhausted. Nearby walking trails, pond, ballfield, and bathrooms.

Foxhill Recreation Center is one of Bowie, Marylands many public parks. Theres a large parking lot for visitors. From there, you can venture down one of the many trails, enjoy the shaded picnic table areas, or play on the playground. Unlike other parks in the region, this playground is shaded and has a side for smaller kids and one for older kids. My toddler loved this park!

We came here to eat our takeout food because it is usually quiet these days. Only a couple of cars were parked in the lot, not counting the two cop cars, whose occupants appeared to be casually monitoring the happenings here while they had a conversation between the vehicles.Two people were playing tennis, a small group that appeared to be close friends or family were practicing baseball together in the ball field off a short distance, and several walkers and bicyclists passed through on the paved trail while we were there. We hung out for a long time, enjoying the evening temperatures with the windows down. Two Pokemon gyms and several pokestops are here, so we played Pokemon during our visit too. The family playing baseball and the two people playing tennis all left before we decided we were ready to leave just as darkness was beginning to close in.

Very short hike and not much to see other than stone bridge. Poorly kept which was surprising considering the size of the park.Public restrooms are on site.

I dont know if Covid is to blame or not but the playground needs some serious power washing or something. Disgusting.

Teenagers park and cut through the trails still . . . some things never change . . .

Beautiful serene setting. This us a very pleasant place for a family cookout or basket lunch. It could also serve well as a romantic setting for you to enjoy with that special one. But if you dont like being on the ground make sure you bring your own chairs bcuz seating is very limited. We enjoy walking around the park n sitting near the water. Its quite pleasant!

Went fishing, I didnt catch anything but the small lake looked like it would hold some bass, bluegills. The park looked like, great for kids to run around and have fun. Maybe walk the family dog. P.S. the lake had a lot of grass.

Very well visited park. Was pleasantly surprised that it had sparsley populated trails linking it to lots of other spots. Had a trail that was almost exactly 2 miles each way to Allen pond park.

Great place to bring your kids to let them get some exercise. Also great place to walk your dog or ride your bike.

Convenient walking trail and plenty of activities for the littlest people to group fun. I like that theres two playhouses/yards: one for infant/toddlers and for bigger kids.

Lots of pokestops. Good nest with potential to catch 15 pokemon quickly.

Trash all over playground,ball fields infields completely over grown, trash cans not emptied, trash bags piled 5 feet high

A hidden gem; Beautiful!

Public restrooms are always locked when I need to use them. The trash bins have some seriously massive holes that rats chewed through...ALL OF THEM. Ive heard on 2 separate occasions, gunshots nearby. Sketchy people frequent the park more than children. Parking lot could use some work. But they have great equipment for the kids to play on. If youre ok with taking your kids outside in a county that made one of the top 100 places with the highest murder rates, them I guess its mediocre at best.

Very nice park for kids has basketball court tennis court baseball field and baseball cage. Trail is very peaceful and bathrooms are always locked.Porty pottys where filled with bugs and animals and human feces in toilet and toilet lid.

The trail needs to be more kept up. Other than that, awesome vist!

Cool Walk

They have 2 okay baseball fields, 1 sub par baseball field and 1 good baseball field. They have tennis courts, basketball courts, a small jungle gym and a cook out pavilion.The nice thing is that they have well maintained bathrooms and porta-podie facilities and ample parking.

Nice playground. Also has tennis courts, basketball courts, and a batting cage.

Facility was upgraded recently so they have bathrooms and water fountains but the parking lot is too small cause lots of issues when there are multiple sports taking place at once.

Good place to hangout, meditate, skip rocks, go fishing, cut loose..
