Really nice open views of the grassy plains of Colorado and garnished with the awe inspiring majestic mountains against the backdrop!! Even better at night time when the coyotes come out to play!!
Beautiful views, more of a biking path then a running path though. Tons of rocks and it’s a rough trail through out most parts.
Beautiful local trails with excellent views.
Beautiful trails - wonderful views - very peaceful
Great starting point for biking trail rides and runs with amazing vistas!
Nice hike, not too many people on it
Wide open range once beautiful views of the mountains your about to while friends on how brave you are, come prepaired.
I have never seen so many wild flowers in my life.
Good parking lot and trails; however, cars registered outside of boulder county have to pay $8 to park, which isnt ideal for a quick jog or bike ride. You can access this trail system for free by parking at the access point east on 128, as well as others (see the greenbelt plateau map online) or the well maintained Coalton Trailhead & other parking lots on the boulder county (as a opposed to city of boulder) side of the open space.
Great hike! Highly recommended!!
Beautiful Clear Blue Colorado Day.
Natural trails and relaxed pace
Thank you Boulder county for improving this trail. The new cattle ramps are such a vast improvement over the gates. Now the ranchers dont have to worry as much about lazy people leaving the gates open.Picture was taken at new ramp installation near Coal Creak bridge.
Ive been riding bikes on this trail ever since I was a little kid if you find the right trail theres a sunken car good luck ;) near anderson park
Beautiful and a great place to bike
4.6 mi Trail Out & Back Smooth Running
Great trail head for a walk or run with the dog
Fast biking on choppy rocks. Decent for a lunch or after work ride, but not a big challenge, and it costs to park
Beautiful, fun place to hike and ride.
Lots of bike riders enjoying the mountain scenery.
Nice hiking and camping
I wish I could go here every day!
