“Rock Park” is the perfect combo of a safe place to play and an interesting place for kids to explore! Plus, there’s parking nearby if you need it (no bathrooms!) and lots of open space to run in the grass if the playground area gets crowded.
Great rock park; one of the coolest I have seen. Tunnels and entrances galore!
Good place for kids to climb on rocks.
Absolutely fantastic place for cave play. Its a lot of fun for kids with their imaginations running wild, exploring inside the cave alleys. The swings, and the climbing spinners were very good as well.
This is a very unique and interesting park to visit. It takes you back in time with caves and a play area built around rocks. The embrace of nature makes this a one of a kind park. They also have a spot to BBQ or just a couple of benches if you want to rest. A few swings and a big open field will keep the kids playing. Truly a must visit for any one who wants something different and fun. To help keep things safe they installed foam on the floor. Great for little ones that are running around.
Great playground. The rock structure is a huge hit with kids of all ages. Lots of caves they can climb through. Its a little high for the younger kids but its so fun. It was a slide,a few swings and the kids love it. Theres always kids there having fun and a huge open green space to kick a ball around.
Has creative playground. Mountain of rock with tunnels awesome! Though have to be careful there are holes in the ground that fall 5 feet, so second level maybe not great for under 5 year olds.
Very cool rock cave play area. Our kids had a blast
Everyday I make a stroll past here
The kids love this park! Awesome rock cave and saucer type swing here! Picnic tables and a charcoal grill as well!
Nice little park in the middle of a subdivision. Has caves for more adventurous kids to play in and traditional playground equipment with impact matting.
What a beautiful little park. My boys loved climbing through the tunnels!
It was fine but the park was kinda only for little kids and my kids and older than 2 and 5 years old. But overall the park is great for toddlers, nice place to relax for parents. The playground can get hot when in the sun so you have to watch out. The park was very creative for putting in caves, but when one of my kids went through one of the holes the was a big drop down, so dont let your kids go in the upper park of the cave.
Small, beautiful, quite park. Lots of dogs and friendly people
Great bouldering and spelunking for kids
Just took a nice walk with music.
Miss the Merry go round, but the park is still fun with the caves!
Great update fun and safe
I love this park. Open fields playground great place for a lunch!
Ive worked on many playground projects, but this one with the rolling terrain and caves was awesome
This is a great park for 3 to 5 year olds, a good park for 2 to 3cyear olds and a really fun fort for 6 to 12 year olds. Great surface so a short fall does not hurt. Rocks to climb on for 3 to 12 year olds
It was really cool
My nephews loved the rock ‘caves’! They had a lot of fun here. My sister-in-law considered this park a great new find!
Kids love to play there
The caves here are so neat
Never been there before but my daughter loved it
While this park has a great picnic and BBQ area and the climbing cave structure is absolutely a must to go see if your a kid or a kid at heart. This the other play structures left little to be desired. Stairs that lead nowhere, no slide, only infant swings and pebbles to fall down on. Parking is confusing if you need to drive there and youd literally wouldnt know it was there if you dont live nearby or go to the elementary school right next door.
Unusual park for kids. Less equipment, more imagination play with huge climbing structure made of rocks, full of caves
Cute little park. Decent facilities but no parking.
This is a unique neighborhood Park with playground and tennis courts. What makes it really fun for the younger set (elementary aged) is the terrific rock structure with tunnel and climbing area. The park is scheduled for a major update in 2017.
The good old cave park has been updated. Still so fun!
Awesome playground with caves and climbing rocks.
Neat little park. The play area has caves to crawl in.
Nice neighborhood park. Cool rock feature
Great for toddlers and small children
My favorite park in the world
No parking. Have to walk to get there
Great playground.
Grandchildren had great time
It’s nice for small children here!
Under construction this summer (2017) but a really fun playground with lots of good climbing for kiddos.
Caves, swings, trees... The most unique playground in Boulder
The concept is great for a two seasons state, just doesnt work well for the community considering what it was before! My preference is the Flatirons mall in Broomfield!!
Sooo much fun for kids to crawl and climb
Very unique playground.
Recreational activities
The kids love this park
Its a park
Caves for kids to crawl in
Cave structure for kids to climb thru, just watch out for heads bumping rock!
Rock tunnels, infant swings, slide and sand pit
Great park
Best in Boulder.
Well designed
Fun
Kids love it
Usual strip mall
The Rock Park was one of my favorites as a kid, and Im so sad they are tearing it down.
