Great place to go hiking in North Boulder. The park also has a huge dog park and many play areas for kids. Above the park there are hiking trails that go for miles, all well maintained. Head north on the trails to get a great overview of the area atop of Hogback Ridge.

This place is so nice. There’s so much to do here. I’ve brought my dog to the beautiful dog park. My friends have hosted parties here. I enjoy running through here. Not only is there plenty to do, Foothills provides some of the best views in Boulder with the least of work to get them

This is by far my favorite park. Lots of parking, and there are many tables under shade. It has water fountains, as well as large bathrooms. Plenty of space and trails to walk. Theres so much space that you can enjoy watching paragliders land near by. The sidewalks are large, so even the need of a wheelchair wont stop you from enjoying this park. The playground equipment is unique and all around, making it fun for kids to run to each activity. The swings are my favorite part of the playground, theres even an adaptive swing so everyone can enjoy the beauty of this park. Fun for every age, as the traditional swings are unlike any other swing. Theres a spring on top, and you are faced with the best views regardless of which direction you sit. Highly recommend!!

Clean and expertly maintained public park. This park has 3 public paraglider launch sites. Excellent place to learn and practice the sport. The park has two bathrooms, a pavilion, jungle gyms, walking paths, and roller rings. The only thing they could do better is increase security and keep the homeless people from destroying the bathrooms every night. Only a problem if you’re there in the am like I was.

This is has great views of the mountains, especially since its right up against them haha. There is a lot of open space for the dog or for you to just enjoy. Theres walking/running trails, two sets of bathrooms, two large parking lots, and its in the middle of a nice, quiet neighborhood. There are structures for BBQ and picnics, and theres a field hockey rink. The city really maintains this park well, all year long, and the workers take pride in it. This is a great park, go check it out!

Huge park with lots of amenities! The foothill trail is stroller friendly (very smooth) and there are also lots of paved paths around the park. Playgrounds, dog parks, picnic area, community garden, tons of open grass area for various activities, even a sledding hill. Beautiful views of the foothills and flatirons.

An amazing park for children of all ages. From parkour classes, soccer clinics, joggers, para gliders coming in from the mountains, families bringing their kids to play there seems to be something for everyone! I usually do an early morning training session while Im there. Playing on the rails doing calisthenics before the masses arrive. Even during the midday heat of the sun you can find a shady sanctuary under one of their many pavilions. There is a dog park just northwest of the actually playground. Let the dog loose, let the kids loose, cut loose, cut a rug. A super fun place for the whole family!

This park is a great resource. Out of curiosity I read many of the negative reviews which are surprisingly inaccurate. There are many aspects to this park which the negative Nancies & Nathanyoz seem to miss or blame the park instead of people. There is a huge grassy field which is used by all kinds of folks (soccer, r/c, paragliding, dog running, kiting, etc). There are trees along the side. Gazebos, picnic areas, bathrooms, water fountains, hiking trails, etc!) And a huge dog park. The dog problem is an epidemic everywhere because there are loads of lazy ass humans everywhere on this Earth. The negative reviews are laughable. This park is a great resource for the community. AND if you want to learn how to FLY, you can learn with one of the many great paragliding schools that offer lessons and use the park as a landing zone. Six stars.

Just one of the most beautiful parks youll ever see. Right up against the foothills. Good quality, interesting, and well maintained play structures for kids. Nearby fields for soccer and running around. The trails here take you to onto the foothills or you can go south to the Wonderland Lake loop. The dog parks here are also the best in Boulder - rarely crowded, and the large section is big enough that you can do a bunch of laps while your dogs are having fun. Also, the bathrooms here are pretty clean and decent for a public park.

Normally loves this park but had a terrible experience yesterday. We had our dog with our son and wanted to take our son to swing before we went over to the dog park. We kept our dog on a leash and there were multiple dogs running around off leash in the children’s area. The owners all were right there and exclaimed that they’re dogs were friendly but they were making my dog feel very scared and insecure since he was on leash. The dog park was walking distance so I don’t understand why, if they wanted their dogs to roam, why they weren’t going to the designated area for it. It forced us to cut the park early and leave because they didn’t care and thought they were doing nothing wrong. Very annoying
