Beautiful views, no dogs allowed posted on trail, the trail is a bit rutted and overgrown with tall grasses. Probably a bit better for bikes, and ok for running. There are better trails for walking where the ground is more even and less overgrown.
Beautiful hiking area! Easy to maintain a 6-ft distance in the COVID-19 era
Ifee youa likee da hikey go hikey heal!no joggink for exercise pless
Nice place to go.
Mostly exposed but nice high plains trail
Nice spot with a beautiful view ! Downside theres no dogs allowed and the parking area was small and crowded with no designated spots !
A favorite high spot on the plains near Rocky Mountain foothills and Boulder Creek. Trailhead on 95th street is high above the Creek and goes west up to a fabulous 360 degree view near a large water tank. Head south from the top, if youre lucky youll find a native American teepee ring marked with stones and old rusty farm implements in the tall grass. Circle down and back to trailhead or take side trip down to Boulder Creek and Teller Farm trailhead.
This trail has nice views but might make you angry, The trail is trapped between fences, 12 feet wide most of the way. Youre not allowed on Boulder open space or private property. I would have liked to actually visit the white rocks for which the trailhead is named but you apparently cant do that without hopping fences. The connection from here to the Teller trail is broken due to a damaged bridge over Boulder Creek. The bridge is not actually gone and some people hop the fence to make the crossing. Im getting angry about fences.
This trail is a nice winter hike. Its out in the prairie grassland. Lots of joggers and bikers also share the trail.
Loved it
Happy hike
It was alright
Its close by and has some climbing(on a bike), but not as interesting as the trails in the foothills.
