Cute and cozy splash of color on the Emerald Necklace, and great for photos. I would recommend going in mid-June to early July, since summer rainstorms may impact the blooms. We found street parking right across the garden on Park St. Most of the spots are residents-only, but a few are for visitors.

Beautiful rose garden to take a walk through or even sit and read a book! Lots of spots to take pictures for a wedding or similar event. This garden has names for every flower available, making it neat when youre trying to find the same one for your loved one! The garden isnt very accessible, the paths and door are small and not paved, making it difficult for something like a wheelchair.

Beautiful scenery. Great spot to sit down and read a book while enjoying the weather. There’s a few homeless people that live within the park otherwise feels pretty safe.

This garden looks very beautiful in the summer, when all the roses are starting to bloom. Its a nice place to sit down and relax if youre in the area. There are over 200 varieties of roses and around 1500 plants in the garden. Its open daily from May through September. If youre into photography, you can get some very nice shots inside the garden. The colors just pop out and the fountain can be set up some nice shots using different shutter speeds. The only negative thing, which also applies to the park as a whole, is that the geese make walking around outside of the garden into a nightmare. They just eat grass and go to the bathroom everywhere which is a health hazard for everyone, especially people who walk their pets and can track the waste back home.

We visited in August and found most plants had finished all their blooms. Quiet and peaceful, but in need of attention. Hot, hot day but too little shade.

A nice place to experience nature and take a break from the city. Worth taking a few minutes to stroll around and take in the roses. This is also a good place to volunteer if you enjoy gardening and being outdoors.

I think it would be wise to come when more roses are in bloom, we came mid-june and some shrubs/plots were empty. But overall very beautiful!

Beautiful hidden rose garden sanctuary in the middle of the Fens! Hidden so well behind the hedges that for a couple of years, I didnt even know it was there lol. Currently undergoing a revamping - surrounded by fencing and construction tape.

Small and disappointing garden. There appears to be no maintenance. The fixtures and the roses appear to not have been tended too in quite some time. This could be a great place for solace.

The garden is tiny but features a few nice statues and monuments that are definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area. Would recommend in the early summer months.
