Pheasant Lanes is a perfect spot for a birthday party. We reserved the recently added, enclosed beer garden for our son’s party. With the current social climate, we wanted a place where our group would have a private room and where people could be socially distant, yet still be part of the party! The staff was constantly cleaning and sanitizing the space, before and during the party. We ordered pizzas (arguably the best thin crust in town!), cheese ball platter, and a nacho bar! Everything was brought out fresh and tasted great! Perfect party food! The staff made the party effortless for us as parents, and we were able to just enjoy the day! Everyone had a great time! Would highly recommend to anyone needing to host an event!

We just moved to Bloomington, IL and we happened to find this place just driving around. We loved that it was a bowling alley, pub, restaurant, mini golf, mining area and they also have Outdoor Volley ball courts!This has to be a great get together place and or date night to have fun. Id tell anyone to go. Staff is nice, inquisitive and easy to talk to.

GO. Theres virtual games , other arcade games, glow bowling, kareoke , outdoor fun! Good drinks,food. Friendly helpful people, much to do there. They can host various gatherings.

Bowling is bowling, so a good alley is all about the food and drinks and this place kills it. It is attached to a pub if thats your thing and they also have a concessions bar with great pizza and appetizers. The food alone is worth the stop.

The bowling alley is fantastic but the outdoor activities make Pheasant Lanes all-around fun for everyone in the family!

It was awesome for my birthday except for it being timed and we couldnt finish our 2nd game.

This place has become the best place for family friendly bowling in the twin cities. The renovation they undertook a couple years ago with Automated scoring, animations and tables have made this a very kid friendly place. My youngest can only bowl a game and then needs other distractions so we head over to their arcade for some fun. Older kids will enjoy their vr experience but the arcade has games for all ages. We have actually attended multiple childrens birthdays at this venue. If you are hungry their are multiple snack options and their thin crust pizza is pretty good. It comes out steaming hot so be careful not to burn your mouth. If you like adult beverages then several options on tap.During the warmer months a wider range of family activities from sand volleyball leagues and mini golf. They keep expanding and upgrading their facilities to make a more pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor beer garden in front is a nice place for happy hours when the weather is better.

Great place for some fun family or date time. Good music, clean and well done course. We have come for years to mini golf.

Super fun bowling but the arcade is where its at there is a bunch of fun games to play and was an amazing experience

We had a great time! We had 8 adults for a company party- orders drinks, apps, and pizzas, bowled a few games and played with the VR set up- it was a blast! The drinks and food were great, and the bowling and gaming area were clean and well taken care of. They did forget to send our pizzas out when they were done, so it took a while to get them, but they took them off our check without us asking them to, which was super nice of them. All around great time. Would definitely go back.

The place is always clean and the staff is fairly friendly. I always have a good time at this bowling alley, and I love that they accommodate our leagues so well! The food and atmosphere is pretty great too! Check out the pizza, especially the Philly Steak one. You will not be sorry!

I came here on a double date with my wife and friends. We have a blast and the staff was happy to accommodate some requests that we had. This bowling alley was very clean and well managed. The food was also great.

To start, the customer service is awful. I came with a few of my friends (teenagers) and we asked for bumpers, just trying to have a good time and they refused to put them up. After $40 for 4 kids to bowl and they refused to give us what we paid for. Not to mention the “workers” just stood in the lane next to us watching their friends. I don’t recommend this place if you’re just trying to have a good time.

Ive been bowling at pheasant since I was a kid and now I am bring my own kids. This place just keeps getting better. Between the remodel, mini-golf, VR and the arcade, sand volleyball, the food court and Keglers, this place is amazing.

Absolutely love the new outdoor area theyve put in. However the service out there needs some SERIOUS help. We had to go inside to order our pizza and soda. The waitress never ONCE came to our table, and there were 2 other tables she flat out ignored as well. She would walk by and look the other way. We ordered the pizza to eat there but after about a half hour and other people were getting their food I went inside to check on it. They had boxed it to go and it had been sitting there for awhile. The crust was like leather and there was more bacon than there was chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza. Definitely NOT like pizza weve had there before. Definitely disappointed tonight. Service is what makes or breaks a business...continued service like this and people wont come back.

It was fine overall. There wasnt anything exceptional about it but there werent many problems either. The only problem was a VERY slow ball return on lane 19. A couple times I started to ask the guy at the counter to call back about it but he wasnt at there counter either time. Eventually the ball would come back. Eventually.

Really cool place for some quick fun.

Fun place if you like noise and colored lights illuminating the lanes and pins. If youre a serious bowler, this is not the place to go, but if you want fun for the family, this is definitely one of the best places in town.

Reasonably priced drinks. Karaoke non stop from 9-close. Only bad thing is you cant watch the singer and the lyric screen at the same time because of placement .

This place was great! Very clean and has something for everyone. Took my son mini golfing and had a blast! Will be coming back for sure for some beach volleyball.

Great alley. Some balls are drilled a little too big for kids, but smaller children should be fine.

We took a group of 12 here for a youth event. They staff was very friendly and accommodating to us! All of our teens had fun and enjoyed the pizza and soda!

Keglers is a great place to hang out if youre post-college and tired of the uptown/downtown scenes. Mini golf is a solid time-killer or date spot, sand volleyball is great in the summer as well. The new outdoor patio whatever area is fantastic as well.

Ive been here soo many times over the years. A fine place with personable staff. My sons bowled here thru Special Olympics, attended many parties. Good food and drinks. Theyre branching out & expanding their offerings. Karoake, special occasion events- New Years eve, Super Bowl, Summer and winter holidays with special deals. VIRTUAL reality games, fun old fashioned arcade games and others in the middle. Great place to keep in mind when you want to get out ot have guests visiting.

Had a great time! Plenty of different things to play. Bowling, putt putt, prospecting, VR, arcade games, sand volleyball. They have trivia nights during the week, I believe on Tuesdays. Great snack food bar, and a friendly staff make this place great!

Theyve really improved this place since my last visit a few years ago. Awesome little arcade area with a 4-person VR setup, helpful and friendly employees, nice computer systems and seating at the lanes, everything just feels way better than before. Cant wait to go back!

Great food, bar, bowling, workers, clean place. They also have games and birthdays for kids plus volleyball, Putt-Putt, things with rocks for kids. Just a lot of great things to do, eat, listen to. Its just a great day, afternoon, evening, night of all round fun. It a great thing to go to when you want to get out of apt./house for adults, kids, family and accommodating for the handicaps/disability people. Its also no smoking too. Oh one more thing cool special lights and computers for each lane with fun stuff on it and for each lane screens with different interactive background themes. Just come check it out and see all the great things for yourself and you will have just as much fun as me and my friends. Enjoy

Went her with the whole family, including a 2 year old. Everyone had a blast! We had ordered some of the food while we bowled and it was fantastic. After we played the mini golf course, all 18 holes. The course is a mixture of fun and challenging greens. My favorite every time we go is #17 with the double waterfalls. All the employees were great and had a helpful attitude. We plan to go back again and again. Thanks!

Great place to hang out. Good burgers and pizza. Great specials on beer, which leads me to why only 4 Stars. $1 Domestic Draft Beer night. I was told Miller Amber Bock was not considered Domestic by them. I almost walked out, but... $1 BEER! So I got something less tasty.

We play miniature golf with our youth group. It was a good course we had a lot of fun but when it got dark the far end of the 18 holes was too dark. They forgot to turn on the lights for the volleyball? Apparently those are needed to light up the last few holes. Otherwise I like to place

Overall, my experience with Pheasant Lanes was bad. My friends and I started with mini-golf and the guy handing out the golf balls and golf clubs seemed like he didn’t really want to be there, however we didn’t let him bring down the mood of our group. While we were mini golfing one of the staff decided that one of us was throwing one of the golf balls, which we weren’t, and proceeded to lecture us about how she saw us throw the golf ball and that she could make us sit out. After that ordeal, we chose to go into bowling area. When we got there to get our shoes the attendant, Jeniffer, had a nasty attitude and was unnecessarily rude to my friends and I and to make things worse, she refused to put up any bumpers. I I was very disappointed with my the experience I had with the staff and the only DECENT part about Pheasant lanes was the food, which was very over-priced.

Great place to take the family or to go with a group of friends! The lanes are bumper capable and the screens at the tables offer fun themes and funny pictures you can take for a fun bowling experience!

Nice bowling alley. Accommodations for young children. Clean and inviting but the music they played over house speakers was just way way too loud. Like being at a rock concert. Very hard to carry on a conversation. After two hours being there my ears were ringing and head ached. Just too loud period.

Honestly, love this place. Deserves 4 stars, other than the very short mini-golf season. Over the last 3 years, Ive been trying to play mini-golf at this place, but it is always closed. Every time Ive wanted to play here, it has been over 70 degrees outside (and of course, not raining). Today it is 87 degrees, yet mini-golf is closed for the season.I like this place and will go back, but until the golf is open on reasonable days (lets call it weather permitting), itll be disappointing.

I visited this place with a large group of people. It was my 1st time coming here. I had terrible customer service. I order food and never received it, once I returned to the counter to ask about my food the girl behind the counter who I was not speaking with rudely with an attitude said I took your food down there. I explained that I didnt get my food that I ordered and paid for. She said that she took it down there and someone must have ate my food. How if I ordered and paid and you gave my food to someone other than me is my fault. I would not suggest ordering food from this place.

Bowling, miniature golf, mining for Stones! This place has it all and we had a great time! Would definitely come back and highly recommend! :-)

Pricey but fun for the family. Also, a little cramped up. Kept putting people next to each other instead of separating by a lane. 2 large pizzas and 5 drinks was around 50$. 5 people bowling for an hour including shoes was 39$.

Very clean and family friendly. Updated shoes and bowling balls. Haven been there for years, but went there for a Christmas party December 2018, was pleasantly surprised.

They remodeled in the last few years so all of the lanes and balls are in great shape. Also they have a pretty great modern arcade, too! Most of the games are unsurprisingly difficult to get tickets on (not that the prizes are easy on tickets anyway), but the clown game seems to be the best for racking tickets up and is also my favorite game there followed by the Jurassic Park game. On some days they have pretty good deals on beer and food, so find that out and you could have a pretty solid date night for cheap! The staff seem a little strange sometimes but maybe thats just my social anxiety. In any case its a great bowling alley and a pretty affordable experience.

Great place to get away from the TV and the house for a few hours. Staff is great and they are very family friendly during the day, lots to keep you occupied for a couple of hours

The mini golf was fun, and the bowling lanes looked like they were in good shape. The food was decent for bar food. The arcade looked pretty interesting especially the virtual reality games.

This place was very ordinary, nothing special. Nothing bad to say, nothing great.

This was my first time here with our family and it was a good experience. We used the bowling lanes - equipment was in good condition and well-maintained. We will definitely visit again next time we are in town.

Bit costly but great food and fun.

Loads of fun.Lots to do. $24 per hour $12 for the 1/2 hr for one lane up to 6 people. And if you have 4-6 people you will only bowl one game. The downside is if you are on the 10th frame and your hour is up the game automatically shuts off. That sucks it doesnt register you are on the last frame. Even if its the last bowler. It will not allow you to finish the game unless you re-up the $ and it only goes by 1/2hr or 1hr ingriments.

Had so much fun here with my brothers. It was a great place to spend family time as older people.

Very busy on rainy Saturday evening. Went to bowl but no lanes available. Ended up mini golfing in sporadic light rain. Cost was 6$ a person. Then spent 30$ to play video games for hour in their arcade.

Karaoke at the attached Keglers bar is a blast. The bowling alley is good. The prices are not much beyond fair, but theyre isnt much for competition in town for bowling. Overall a good place to hang out for a variety of activities.

Had a fun time bowling and all but my parents noticed their bowling balls had huge gouges in them. The staff was nice about fixing them, but the situation itself sucks.

The alleys are always full! Ive bowled here in league and with a casual party. The score tech is accurate, and offer a variety of games to bowl. The alley seats have a unique configuration, and take awhile to feel acclimated.
