I love to go to Ewing Park. It has beautiful trees and several long walking paths that are full of interesting plants and in one place what looks like a shelter built out of logs. Theres a play area for kids that has swings and slides and climbing areas. Theres a covered place with picnic tables and then other picnic tables outside. A few grills are available for making burgers or hot dogs or steaks, and there are indoor bathrooms with running water, too.

There is a lot to offer, different age appropriate playgrounds with shade. Creek to play in. Forrest to explore. One of the best parks in town. You could stay for hours and still find more to do.

Im amazed how large this group of parks is. Its a combination of three spaces, connected by a bridge or a path. Playgrounds, ballfields, trails and just open space is what makes up public space.

Very pretty area. Updated playground for the kids, several different shelters with picnic tables. Construction going on nearby can make it a little loud but overall a very peaceful, pretty, place. Never super busy so privacy is always available.

Enough shade to get us out of the heat when needed on a 95* day. My 2 year olds loved it, great place for a picnic and can walk the trails too.

I live within walking distance of Ewing park and my kids love getting to play there. Its usually very quiet and clean. It hardly is ever busy, but during football season it is impossible to go to during a game or practice.

Everyone else should stay away so my little family can have this park all to ourselves! But it really is a great park. Some of the largest slides and playground equipment Ive seen and plenty of open grass to play games on. There are also baseball diamonds if youre looking for that.

This is a large park by local standards. It has the feel of several parks in one.In one corner is Ewing Mansion which is beautiful for photography with interesting architecture and delightful gardens. This was among my favorite spots in town when I bought my first dSLR.Along the Jersey Avenue side is a large hill, popular for sledding on snow days and hill training for runners. On the Towanda Avenue side is a playground with trails leading off to the woods. It also has a picnic shelter.

This park is very quiet, trails are not paved but that makes it nice. You dont feel like youre in the middle of a city.

Walk through this place often. Used to let the dog run around the football field across the creek. In the winters I ride my fat tire bike through the trails.

What could potentially be a really nice park appearently is mid towns connection spot for shady individuals. Last year we promptly left after two car loads of ghetto thugs descended on the park with loud obscene music blaring so loud my son couldnt hear me calling him 20 from the bench to leave since their offspring were swarming the playground yelling obnoxiously with profane language. As we were leaving occupants of both cars were openly smoking weed with small children in and around the vehicles. Needless to say we left & I notified the police. Today my son and I were the only ones at the playground when an SUV showed up (not shockingly came from the area behind the old Kmart) and two extremely shady looking individuals lingering outside smoking while the female driver stayed in the car. After two different vehicles popped in, it was obvious they were dealing drugs. Once again we got out of there asap. Avoid this trash heap, unless your looking for narcotics, itll be your place.
