This was my first experience to this specific Escape Room but definitely my favorite! We started with playing the Special Ops room which was extremely fun and challenging at the same time! No matter how many clues, Chris was always so helpful and made the entire experience fun! We had so much fun, we returned later for a second round, but this time in Prison Break! For a group of 7, this room gave us plenty of space and option for everyone to participate! The rooms are incredibly detailed making the experience that much better! I think our second guides name was Nathan, whom also was a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend this place!

So much fun. The staff is very helpful, and its quite necessary that they are. Its a busy sign in area prime time on the weekend.We had a group of 8 and we did the heist room. It was very well thought out and so much fun to navigate together. We escaped with 7 minutes left and used about 4 clues.Would recommend doing with friends and family for any occasion. Check for Groupons.

Chris and Carrington were awesome with our games! Me and my boyfriend came in on his birthday and we did the Prison Break and the Special Ops. We had such a fun time and beat our first game ever! You guys are great. I highly recommend :)

An amazing place. The staff was really helpful with any questions we had and very kind. The puzzles were really fun. The prices were not terrible for escape rooms, and to have the quality that there was, I could easily have seen it being more, but it wasnt. You are definitely getting a great deal. Will definitely be going back.

We had a great time! The front of house staff were super accommodating to our group and the guides were engaged, helpful, and made our visit a lot more fun.We did Gold Rush and loved it so much we stayed and did The Heist right after. We escaped both, and they were both an absolutely thrilling adventure. Highly recommended and we’re already planning our next visit.

Loved it! I have been to many escapes rooms in different cities and this is by far my favorite!! The rooms are masterfully designed. The storylines are so well done that I was so in character, I was nervous of not being able to complete the mission. We stayed an extra day in our hotel, just to do another one!

My boyfriend and I had so much fun! It was our first time and we did the gold rush and our game leader Carrington was very nice and super friendly! She definitely made the game even more fun! We are definitely looking forward to our next adventure!

My wife and our 2 teenage kids did the heist escape room. It was a ton of fun. It was especially entertaining to see the kids personalities come out. The escape guide was a ton of help. She let us get stumped before she pushed us along and we came out with a win feeling like we did most of the work. The guide really did a great job maximizing our fun factor.

W did the The Heist, it was fun. We completed the game with 5 min and 30 left before our hour was up. I would say go with a group of 4 or 5 as you will need multiple hands to solve the puzzle. Something fun to do with friends or family. The staff was super friendly and had great customer service

We had a whole lot of fun playing Mission to Mars here! The room has a lot of tech puzzles which were a lot of fun. We all felt like we had something to contribute here. The hardest puzzle was solved by.... ***TRANSMISSION TERMINATED***Enjoy!

My best friend and I wanted to try the escape game for the first time!!!! We tried the Prison Break game and one of the staffs said this is one of the hardest ones. The first time we tried we were trying too hard to think and we got so excited that we got out of the cells but we ran out of time before the end. We wanted to go for a 2nd round. After about 5-6 hours of waiting in the mall we finally came back and tried again. This time we were faster but also forgot some of the clues we did before. We kept hitting the Hint Button so many times. We got halfway through and it did get harder. Our guide named Carington did a great job of guiding us. We kept thinking that we were too dumb to figure out the clues and hints but Carington was patient with us!!! Sorry for annoying you with our craziness! In the end we passed our first escape room and our first Guide who was in training for the first time has succeeded in helping us!! Thank you so much and we will come back again!!!!

One of the best escape experiences to go to. Ive done the Prison Break and Art Heist and theyre both very challenging and fun. Chris is a very informative guy and always makes for a fun experience as a host.

My very FIRST ever experience doing an escape room was WAY TOO MUCH fun. Carrington was so energetic and lovely. My group and I even decided to play another room after the first one- Im so glad she suggested the second room. We are for sure coming back! Thank you.

SO much fun! Went for a friends birthday and the staff were so friendly! We did the Prison Escape game and had the best time! Definitely a challenge and we won with 2 minutes to spare. Beyond that the staff really goes out of their way to make sure the game experience is still fun with all the necessary precautions due to COVID-19. We will definitely be coming back soon!

My group of 4 had a great time doing the Prison Break experience. For most of us, it was our first time in an escape room, and our Game Master was very helpful getting everyone oriented. From what I could tell, everything was kept extremely clean, and any groups that were not there for a reservation were asked to wait outside while the current groups were briefed to keep the distancing. It was a lot of fun, and would definitely recommend it.

It was great to get away and go to the Mall of America In Minosota I would recommend it to others highly! The escape game was great!

It was a fantastic experience for our whole family. Everyone contributed to finish the mission. We finished we 6 minutes to spare. Each room and all props are very real. Great details. Our guide Carrington also did a fanatic job.

Had a great time with nieces and highly recommend for families/large groups. Very friendly/helpful staff, and the games were so fast paced and entertaining the hour flew. Definitely will return to do it again.

I just finished playing the heist. MY GAME MASTER ASH WAS THE LITERAL MOST AMAZING PERSON. I work at an escape and I can say his clues were perfect directive and he was bubbly and warm despite me and my group not being the smartest. I would give him and the escape game a 100/10. We did gold rush and the mission market rooms and they were some of the best escape rooms Ive ever done. They are some of the more pricier rooms out there but it reflects in the quality of the rooms. We had Bridget running our rooms and she was very nice and funny as well. They also have really nice deals that we didnt know about. We ended up doing 2 rooms in 1 day because you get 40% your next game if it is in the same day so that was a nice surprise. We have already made plans to come back and do the other rooms as well!

Very fun for our first escape room! We played the Mars Mission room and we got out a minute under the time limit! It was a blast and well be back to do another room!

We were visiting the mall of America and decided to try this attraction and we had an incredible experience! I took my 8 and 10 year old boys and they had a blast. The skill level was fun and interesting for all of us and I was impressed by how innovative the room was. It wasn’t easy but it wasn’t too hard to make it frustrating or difficult! They helped us out with clues when we needed it and even let us stay for a little extra time to finish “escape” the room since we couldn’t do it in the hour time frame. I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and their ability to give us a great experience!

SO much fun:) I did the prison break with 3 other people and I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. After we escaped we all said we wanted to book another one on the next day. Also the person helping the game, Cole, was so helpful and made the game more enjoyable. Overall, I totally recommend and would do it again.

Would defiantly recommend The Escape Game for a fun thing to do with your family or friends. I had a lot of fun solving The Heist game. I love a good challenge and this room provided exactly that . Our game guide was Sarah and she did an amazing job. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. If youre looking for something fun to do in the Mall of America, be sure to check this place out.

We have enjoyed each game played here. The staff members are awesome and supportive. We have played 4 games with just two of us and escaped from 3. I highly recommend Gold Rush if its your first game ever as it was for us. Definitely make sure you take advantage of their discounts at the end because you will want to come back! I cant wait to try the one we didnt escape from (The Heist) again and make an attempt at Prison Break!

The Escape Game has caught my eye every time Ive passed it while at the mall, so I finally decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did, it was honestly a blast. I did it as a date, and it was such a fun time! We thought a lot of the game options sounded good but ended up going with The Heist. Every single moment youre playing you feel immersed and truly challenged, making each step towards completing your objective more fun. I just wanted to give a shoutout to the attendant that helped us too, Sarah. She was really helpful in making the instructions of the game crystal clear, as well as just making sure we had a good time with our whole experience. If youre having any doubts about this place, just do what I did and give it a try, Ill definitely be coming back again!

We had a great time again at the Escape Game! My fiancé and I went last year for our anniversary and didn’t make it out of Special Ops so we went again this year and did Prison Break. We made it out with 58 seconds to spare and we had a great time! We both love the element of the different rooms and the teamwork needed. Our guide, April, really helped us out with our clues as well. We’ll be back again soon!

We did the Gold Rush room with 3 of us (2 adults and 1 13 year old) and it was great! The teen who never smiles said it was fun! If she could rate it more than 5 stars she would :)

Excellent set up and all the employees were helpful and professional. The rooms are very well-maintained. The puzzles are great. We did the Heist. I also did Gold Rush a few years ago. Ive done escape rooms at 2 other locations (San Antonio and San Angelo, TX), and the Escape Game Minneapolis is my favorite out of the three.

Consistently amazing! Ive done 4 or 5 of their escape rooms and loved every single one. I highly recommend checking them out, each room is equipped with puzzles that are high quality and make sense when all tied together. Ive done 25+ escape rooms and these are always my favorite!

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary , we did the prison break escape room and it was so much fun i would do it again and again! this was my first escape room ever and they did such a good job helping us thru it and we finished it with 2min to spare!! Fun place, great deals on the right day. Challenging puzzles, I feel like a little more time would be helpful, they give you an hour. My girlfriend and I did 2 of the games and we were very close to finishing, I think another half hour would have really been nice. Highly recommend the special ops room. It had a very fun twist to it. Would definitely go back. Nice staff too

Amazing escape room! Very challenging and well thought out facility. There was so many unexpected rooms and so much excitement around our challenge. These guys do a great job with all of their rooms. Every puzzle seems very logical and the rooms seem to flow well. We have done the Gold Rush and the Mission to Mars. I know we will be back to try the rest. This place is great for people of all ages.

I have officially completed all the rooms here (and escaped them all in time ) after experiencing all they have to offer in comparison with other companies, I can tell you the Escape games are one of the few escape companies that have the level of quality you want in an escape room. I love all of these rooms for different reasons and I hope you will too. Definitely worth the price of admission.

I was on a business trip, and stayed up late to do The Heist and Mission Mars with a coworker. I highly recommend this brand of escape rooms, very high tech and larger budget. You will not be disappointed in any room they have at any location.

I had a great time. My friends and I did the escape from Mars. It was my friends, me, and two other girls we didn’t know at all. But it was great we all ended up working together really well. I would definitely give it ah go again.

We went there with eight people. We played in the Gold rush room. Lots of fun. Probably too many people though. But still very fun and worth the money. Will definitely do this again. With less people.

My sister and I had the best experience at The Escape Games! We booked the ‘Special Ops: Mysterious Market’ and had an awesome game master (Mark) who convinced us to do another escape room! How could we say no to 40% off?! We did ’The Heist’ and had an absolute blast! We wanted to thank Mark for staying late and making our experience excel above and beyond other escape rooms. The escape rooms were well put together with different puzzles and challenges that keep you on your toes. Unlike many escape rooms, these ones don’t consist entirely of padlocks and combinations. We’ve done many escape rooms in many different places but The Escape Game definitely tops the list!

We did the Mars Mission and it was a blast! (Pun absolutely intended.) The staff was so nice, the set up was awesome, and the puzzles were challenging but not impossible.They will match your group up with other players if you dont have the full 8 players. This doesnt sound fun, but its really ideal to have as many people as possible.I cant wait to go back and try the other missions!

The escape game Minneapolis in the mall of America is the premier escape room brand in the twin cities (and beyond) and weve done over 100 rooms.The rooms have great ambiance and immersion in the environment. All the puzzles are logical and include a good mix of standard locks as well as a lot of integrated technology which provides for some pretty awesome wow moments. The variety of puzzles will test your scavenging and perception skills, logical thinking, and teamwork. The game masters are great and well trained. The managers are enthusiasts that will gladly talk escape rooms with you afterwards!Weve completed all five rooms here and our favorites in order are 1. Special ops (save this one until you have a couple rooms under your belt so you can appreciate how awesome it is. In my top two rooms all time!!!) 2. Gold rush 3. Prison break (tough but fun) 4. Museum heist 5. Mars (I would recommend this for newbies to escape rooms because its quite linear and a good exposure to a fantastic room you can succeed in. This one has a bit of a plot hole because you will be the worst or maybe most forgetful astronaut NASA ever sent into space). As two experienced players, all the rooms are doable without extra help, except youll likely want some help in prison break and special ops.

Very fun, first time we did this. Coincidentally we were place in the hardest room available, no problem.. challenge accepted.. excessively fun and a great exercise for your brain! Makes you think!! Lots of twists and turns and you need to make sure you think outside of the box.. use everything avaliable..Great time and will most definitely do it again!!

We haven’t even played yet, but the customer service I experienced in the lobby with Thomas was the best I’ve encountered at an escape room! My family and I stopped in yesterday to see about booking a game and Thomas at the desk was super attentive, beyond polite, and informative on all the games to choose from. We decided on Special Ops, but after learning the next available game for 5 people was hours away, Thomas offered to give us vouchers to get some food in the mall if we decided to book to kill some time. While we didn’t take him up on the offer immediately, he made my family feel special which definitely made our day (and he did it with an entrance full of other people)! I 100% recommend The Escape Game at the MOA for their service alone. Can’t wait to actually play!

My daughter and I were paired up with a goup of five others to take on “The Heist”. Our group was so much fun! The set design was amazing and the puzzles were challenging, but not overwhelming. I love the “ah-ha” moments! Great experience if you are at the Mall of America! Take a break from the stress of shopping and go to The Escape Game! You won’t regret it.
