We made a great decision hiring Code and Key to provide puzzle boxes for our wedding. One of the top things we heard about cocktail hour was the puzzle boxes were a hit and that they were very on brand for us! So happy we did this - it was well worth it to make our wedding unique. Definitely book their puzzle boxes for your next event. :)

We had a party of 6 and had an amazing experience with Code and Keys first escape room. The staff were great, we had fun with the puzzle box in the reception area and then it was time to search for the Omega code. Our Gamemaster introduced herself as another agent and then we were in!We were able to tackle the puzzles in parallel and there were many tricks and puzzles to solve with clues everywhere! We managed to get out in under 40 minutes and we cannot wait to try their next escape room when it opens in April.

My group of four 12-year-old boys had a great time in the Artifact room at the Code and Key Escape Rooms. Because of their age, I was with them in the room during the whole time, mostly observing. The difficulty of the challenges kept increasing during the hour but they never felt unattainable, especially considering the game masters help. That help was vital but was also very well-calibrated, never completely giving the answer, just enough to keep the group moving. One of the best aspects was the fact that we were able to have the room for ourselves with only five people, so this is ideal for smaller groups. The staff was very engaged throughout (especially, obviously, the game master) but they never felt condescending to the kids, who were all very eager to be challenged. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back for the their other escape room scenario.

We had a great time and the clues we asked for were really helpful. It was so neat how you got unit the rooms too! I cant wait to go again! It would have received 5 stars had it not been for the fact we couldnt properly finish the puzzle because of a malfunction. I know its not their fault but also made it anticlimactic and a bit of a let down for all the work we did. Either way I look forward to going again and may change my rating after a few more visits.EDIT: I was with a large group and they gave us 2 free entries for our next visit on the day we were there.

The lobby is incredible and includes two incredibly fun puzzle boxes to play while you wait. The room we did was the missing artifact. Excellent set design and very convincing props immersed us in the theme as well as the use of a live actor for our game master. The puzzles were well designed and between the 4 of us we all had something to work on. Never dull, I definitely recommend The Code and Key.

I have done lots of escape rooms ranging from bad to great. Code and Key is one of the best all-around escape room experiences.- Awesome story development and immersion- Engaging puzzles designed for all skill levels- Wonderful staff and accommodating clue-masters- Neat games to play in the lobby while you waitThey might not have as many different scenarios as the other places yet but this is definitely a case of quality being better than quantity.I am highly anticipating more scenarios from them and cant wait to return

I had never done an escape room before but I thought I would like them, so when Code and Key opened I had to wrangle a few friends to try it. It was even better than I expected. In the room we did, your task is to search a cryptographers office, finding clues and solving puzzles that hopefully will lead you to the Omega Code. We managed to find the code with a little time to spare but it was pretty intense! I think they did a great job playtesting because the puzzles were challenging but fair--they never felt dumbed down but also never felt infuriatingly or unfairly difficult. The decor is also really well done, as you can tell as soon as you step in the lobby. The escape room itself really feels like a professors office (albeit a very tidy professor), which keeps you immersed in the story. Two more quick points--its called an escape room but at no point are you locked in and the narrative isnt about getting out of the room, its about finding the code. Another thing is about that lobby, there are two wood mechanical puzzle boxes that you can try. The smaller one (about a one-foot cube) you can try for free, and the larger and more involved one is $5 (but you get a $5 credit for the escape room). The puzzle boxes were designed and made by the Code and Key crew and its a great demonstration of the thought and cleverness they put into the whole operation. I highly recommend stopping by and at least checking out their lobby and trying the puzzle boxes even if you are on the fence about the escape room. But then do the escape room!

We completely agree with the positive reviews written below. They explain well the experience from the front door to the ticking noise at the end of the hour....we had a blast despite not solving the mystery. It says something that our time was so fun even though we were sad little losers! We did want to also add that the room is almost entirely accessible (mobility). The staff is very accommodating about wanting the fun to be as inclusive as possible. As the mall is also accessible and parking usually available, it is a great time for those of us who cannot often participate in other escape rooms.

Code and key made sure our first escape room experience was a blast. From the puzzle box in the lobby to the triumphant group picture at the end, we learned a little and laughed a lot and generally had a fantastic night. The decor was interesting, the puzzles challenging, the clues enticing. We will be back to do the other room soon!

Came here over the weekend with parents from out of town. We did the omega code room. Really nice puzzle design - everyone got involved and had a piece to work on. Staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Im so happy with my experience at Code and Key. They really took the time to craft a story that was challenging enough to be intriguing, but not so difficult that it became un-fun. I look forward to going back for one of their other rooms!
