Very nice and peaceful place for a walk, run or a bike ride. The parking is usually very crowded, but cars tend to park along the road too. Theres a public restroom too, no tap water though.

One of my favorite go-to spots for a beautiful walk after work. Stunning views of rolling hills and a blue reservoir, birds, bunnies, and lizards. There is a lovely eucalyptus forest near the cow gates. It can get windy in this area so plan accordingly.

My favorite place to run in the East Bay. Paved trail out to the old Nike missile site. 4 miles each way, fairly hilly. Diverse flora (redwoods and eucalyptus) for first half, then it opens up to gorgeous panoramas of both west and east.
