Great park kids loved it even had a little stage where my kids sang and danced their little hearts out . It was safe and clean mixed crowed tennis court big open grass area to sit and read. play structure and even a little area to hoop. its really what completes the area!

This park used to be a dog park until COVID hit. Now its become a wonderful picnic spot with above average people watching. Its truly beautiful and serene with its sprawling large trees that provide much needed shade in these summer months.

Its a great park, county and people need to keep it clean and safe!

Like the intimate tennis courts here. Not allot of distractions. My dream is that they would wash the courts.

It is not the biggest part in Berkeley but it has a very decent and clean playground feo my toddler. There are tons of activities for her and toys to use. She enjoys playing on the sand and in the see saw. Nice place to spend an afternoon with kids. Parking was easy during the weekend. And it is close to a CVS and restaurants in Telegraph Avenue.

Best chill park in Berkeley, tons of open space to lounge, kick a ball, play with your dog or have a picnic!

Beautiful on a sunny day! Usually vibrate with people playing games, enjoying a picnic, or running around with their dogs. Nice and open area, with playground for kids. Me and my housemates often come here to hangout and share some good vibes!

Nice green Park, some homeless people are around but overall everything is chill. Grass is great, there is a water fountain (even for dogs), a restroom. The only thing that always bugs me and surprises not in a good way - the amount of people that off leash their dogs in such a small park surrounded by 2 roads. I personally was followed by someone elses dogs twice (dogs crossed the road). Dont blame the drivers when they kill your dog by accident - if you off leash your dog next to the road then it is on you only.

Beautiful park, separate childrens area, public tennis courts in great condition, fun place for dogs, and at the same time for people without dogs. I love the stand of redwood trees, and the gorgeous oaks.

Wonderful park for dogs, although its not fenced in and can get crowded. Usually some well-behaved dogs hanging around as well as some randos engaged in miscellaneous activities (music, sports, picnics, etc.)

Willard Park is a wonderful community park. It is dog-friendly, has lovely lawn and a kids playground. Its a great place to take a break amid greenery.

This is a dear little neighbourhood park--lots of mature trees, plenty of green space for romping or napping in the sun. Grounds are well maintained, tennis court surfaces in good shape.

Pretty park, everytime I go there are people with a lot of dogs. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful to walk through and quite surreal actually.

The park itself is a beautiful place just the groundskeepers are more interested in harassing people without homes when they should refill the toilet paper and clean the bathrooms right next to childrens area. What a health concern for the local daycares that want to enjoy the park. This is a weekly occurence we need to stand up for the right things, instead of just blaming the less fortunate.

Very nice clean dog park. Also a clean childrens playground. Public bathroom as well is clean. I wouldnt eat in it but definitely nowhere near as filthy as could be imagined

Big open green space for many activities. There is a shaded concrete pad on the side who like shelter from the sun, next to the food shop. The bathroom is usually horrible.

I love Willard park

The good: fenced toddler play area that is well equipped with creative equipment as well as infant swings. The not so good: “permanent” homeless sleeping sites on the north edge of the park where shouting expletives can burn your ears! It made me wonder how the little ones are processing the angry shouts.

Take my children there to enjoy the weekend of monster bubbles...

Nice park. The playground is mostly for littler kids. The play structures were recently redone, and there is a ramp that kids like to ride toy cars down. There is also a big grassy area, which usually has a few dogs, and tennis courts.

You usually find some college student with a guitar, homeless people in the corner and a few dog owners

This is a beautiful park in a residential neighborhood of Berkeley. It has a very safe and pleasant feel about it.

Beautiful park with plenty of space to sit out, have a picnic, & play games. There are usually a ton of dogs around. Sometimes there are soccer games taking up a large portion of the main field. There is a playground and a few tennis courts.

Monday Afternoon at Willard ParkEnamored blonds on a bench. Short-cutting, after-school adolescents. Tuesdays afternoon tennis competitors. Toddlers adept at counting, hiding, seeking. A sky as blue as a mans sleeveless shirt. On whose boombox, R&B ballads of the 80s.

After just a few minutes of being here, I was acutely aware of the fact that someone that had to of been near me, was smokin out the pizzo, aka- smoking crystal.merh in the park. Not especially shocking, being Berkeley, but enough to make me want to not have my pet there with me.Besides that Willard park is lovely lol...

We have been holding rugby practices here. A good unlined field. Our reservation times aren’t always honored by the lights and sprinklers though.

A well manicured park with a main expansive, grassy field, childrens play area protectively fenced, and some micro-environments around the edges, like a wooded corner, brush and flower beds, with a public restoom and adjacent tennis courts. Also functions as a dog park, replete with dog poop bag dispensers mounted on poles curbside.

One of the best, nicest parks in Berkeley. It is a little small but the tennis courts are kept up well and there is a softball/baseball field right next to it. This park is surprisingly clean dispite its proximity to Peoples Park.

Do not go for Easter. Its a veritable nightmare. Large groups of parents are terrible.

One of the best toddler playgrounds in Berkeley. There are a lot of toys and a real sandbox. The lawn outside the playground unfortunately is soaked with dog pee. Its also the favorite dog walking park in the neighborhood.

Old school berkeley sunning spot, great place for a picnic, volleyball game, or just some nice outdoor time. Bathrooms, and a nearby CVS make for an easy day at the park.
