What was supposed to be a 30 minute walk turned into a complete adventure! Ive lived in Aurora for 8 years and didnt know this was here! Very scenic walk. Then as a treat at the end we stopped into the center. The cool air conditioning was a relief! It was clean and very well maintained. The exhibits were very interesting as well. My 10 month old actually crawled around the place. The book corner was my daughters favorite.

This place was unexpectedly nice. We have passed by it for 3 years kinda wondering whats inside. There are both paved and dirt hiking and running rails within the park. We took our dogs and kids, and it made for a very nice outing. Most of the trails are very covered by overhanging tree shade, so even though the temps were in the 80s it was very cool. It is a nature education center, so we did encounter groups of kids on guided tours, but no problem there. We all enjoyed this facility, and we will be regulars.

We came here for a field trip and it was very fun. The indoor space is very cool and my kindergartener could have stayed there for hours exploring. She especially loved the beehive and the turtles. The paths were easy to navigate for kids and we had a great time checking out the cave! It was a beautiful walk during the fall with the river next to the trail.

My party that day consisted of myself, my 3 year old daughter, my friend and her two children ages 10 and 8. We had a great time checking out the nature center and all it has to offer. Lots of interactive toys and displays for the kids, as well as some fish, reptiles and amphibians to enjoy! We grabbed a treasure hunt paper from the front desk and headed out for our adventure. When we got to the deck over looking the river a beautiful eagle flew right in front of us. It was amazing to see!

And there is a nature walk. A viewing deck. And a trail to devils cave... so much to see and do, FOR FREE.*doesnt hurt to donate!*

We loved this little nature center. Multiple exhibits with live animals, very interactive and educational. Multiple short trails around the nature center, and you can walk a little further to see a small little cave. Overlooks the beautiful Fox River. Lots of opportunity to enjoy nature. A great place to take the kids for a walk or visit the inside nature center. Games and touchy feeling of critters and fish tanks and snakes to observe.

Love this place been gojng here for many years. Only reason not 5 stars is it is literally the same all the time. Once you have gone a few times the children want something new. They need to change the setting more often. At least maybe once every so often. Different interactive things to do. A table with an art project maybe something. We do enjoy the center very much but just needs to change from time to time. I love that they offer classes and rescue animals as well. If you are in Aurora with children it is a nice place to stop ans explore. Cost is free but classes have a cost and you have to sign up just FYI.

Went here because there was a sweet cave. Would have rated it a 5 until I saw a tagged goose with a net stuck to it. It was with 8 ducklings and its partner. Sad to say we called them and they couldnt help. They didnt know what to do and gave us a number that led no where. Sucks to see a wildlife center not being able to help wildlife animals.
