The bike trail is an excellent place to ride and see nature. its nice to see open Outdoors instead of buildings in sidewalks in concrete and lots of people. you see people on the bike path but everybody is doing the same thing youre doing enjoying nature and getting a little fresh air and some exercise. I definitely recommend this place I go there all the time and look for new places along the river to stop and relax and taking the nature. So I think you will enjoy it. you feel like youre a long ways from the city when youre actually right there its very enjoyable. Check it out for yourself. Have a good walk run bike or whatever you do.

Smooth trails near Kern River, on the North side. New land preserve, recently closed off to vehicles, across the river from Hart Park, access Round Mtn. Rd. BUT STAY OUT OF THE RIVER right now.

Great place for the whole family, walk, run, bike, explore. Plenty of parking, but no restrooms so ya better pee before ya leave the house.

I love the Kern River bike trail for multiple reasons one is that it has the most beautiful rest stops along the way that you could sit at underneath the on gazebos and it also has list of all of the animals and Im history at the Kern River and it goes on forever with nothing but beautiful scenery

Very nice and runs along the river and goes from one side of town to the other. The only problem is the homeless, hopefully the city will clean it up a bit.

The trail is fine. The weirdos that seem to be living in the parking lot and along the river bed add questionable element.

The bike path is well maintained and clean. The section of bike path West of Beach Park is clean, safe well traveled, shaded and offers some nice scenery all the way out to Enos Lane. The section between Golden State and Manor is fairly clean, generally safe but does have a number of homeless encampments and some less than desirable characters can be found walking along the trail and river.

Scary place even in broad daylight. Lots of men wandering around on the trails and crazy people yelling. Also an abandoned car that looked like it was being stripped right in the parking lot. Came here to walk my dogs and didnt even stop
