Its a lovely urban Square, recently remodeled. If you live downtown and have children or pets, its a nice place to go to enjoy green space. Theyre clean restrooms, and a snack / coffee bar thats open on occasion. Note that the side of the park that borders Guadalupe Street is a transit hub for Capital Metro, and so there are lots of people hanging around there waiting for their bus. That crowd doesnt affect the quality or enjoyment of the square for anyone else. There is a farmers market on the weekend as well, and occasional live music, or other shows.there is a Dominos Pizza across the street if you want to make an impromptu picnic!

Republic square is the most picturesque little park in downtown. Perfect for a short stroll or just relaxing in the shade. However, it is also a popular homeless hangout so be prepared for panhandling, camping and open drug use.

This place is amazing. You can ride the scooters you can rent around and around and raise in its superfine. You can feed the birds my little ones love to Chase them. This park Is also where they have the farmers market which makes it even more exceptional. The statues they have are really nice and the landscaping there is beautiful with the city wrapped around it. Its a good spot to sit under the large oak trees and relax. People do yoga out on the grass thats taking care of really well. Side note be careful there are some fire ant beds every now and then. My family enjoyed the trip here every time

There are public restrooms, which is good id you need to go. On the other hand, it also means that the dozens of homeless that live in the square can use them/hang out near them too. They actually drove a local business (Round Rock Honey) out of the area with their violence and harassment.

What a beautiful building and the apartments are so unique! I had a tour with Alex, and he was so professional, kind, and very detailed. I won’t be needing anything immediately, but when I do this is where I will go! I was so impressed by Alex and how he followed up with me, not once, twice, but three phone calls! Loved everything about this community! Molly Hekma

Decent place to go when you are bored downtown. There are events and stuff, and I hope they continue to have more. Let it grow organically please, with the people who are chilling, going to and from work, going to the doctor, and to see their families, unless you want to turn it into a weird and fake place that people will not want to fund anymore even if you pick the perfect beige lol.

Came here for the Austin Oyster Festival which we ultimately decided to forego due to the shocking ticket price we were met with at the gate. The area where the festival was to be held was high-traffic, easy to spot, steps away from public transit, accessible to plenty of paid parking, fenced, had standalone toilets in addition to port a potties, and within walking distance of scores of restaurants and ATMs. The area was clean. Id come back for a lower-cost event.

Nice park for frisbee or with the dogs. Anyone complaining about homeless people hanging out here obviously have never been homeless a day in their life. We have nowhere else to go. Nobody panhandles here. Bus stops located on one side; federal courthouse on the other side. A few plugs for charging devices and water fountain/restrooms open during the day.It is loud with city traffic horns etc.
