The bus came on time, tour lasted as long as promised and the ride was very relaxing. The tour guide/bus driver did a good job entertaining us. The seat spaces are kind of small for tall guests but the bus was clean and safe overall. We learned a lot about history. Going back with the kids!

The boat captain was pleasant & and SO HILARIOUS! He had me dying laughing! The gentleman who helped me at the window was very helpful & professional, He even gave me information about other places to check out. But I live here. I just wanted to learn more about austin.I learned so much more about this town going on tours & I been here almost 30 years! I recommend everyone ride with duck adventures. The comedian driver makes the trip worth your while! I should have gave my number & proposed to him, Because I like people who have a GOOD sense of humor!

Great tour with Captain Bob - recommend it for everyone who’s new to the city. My whole family (hubby, myself and two kids - 8&9) enjoyed it. Make sure to bring some cash for gratitude. We didn’t have any cash on us -wanted to give some to the Captain so badly- so ended up buying him a pack of beers so that he could enjoy them when he’s done with his day

We loved the ride. Our instructor and Mr.Bob was fabulous. He explained every single attraction. It was a worth ride. I recommend everyone visiting Austin should try this ride first and then plan other visits as this ride gives you brief idea about most of the attractions. It was cool breezy day for us and we loved it.

This is one of the attractions in Austin and kind of must try thing in Austin but we havent found it fascinating as it was mentioned over net. But I would say its a worth a try only if you have group on coupon. The staff was friendly and the driver tried his best effort to entertain the audience during the drive. Its a more the one hour drive includes boating ride as well. This ride recommended for family and especially for kids. For kids it will be kind of adventurous trip.

Had a great time. Your lasts about two hours. Goes around downtown and into the lake.In the past I could park around the corner for free, now due to construction parking is extremely limited. Parking lot from across the street is a rip off with two parking choices $15 for 13 hours or $30 for 25 hours. Those are your only two choices, so park somewhere else.

Great tour! I had been on a few years ago and I also thought it would be the perfect tour to take an out of town friend! Because of the holiday weekend the water was closed but this was made up for by the visit to Motzarts instead (A spot I wanted to go to anyway) the driver was friendly and the experience was super fun! I would do it again! Especially if you just want to see the city quickly and get a little history and a fun easy way.

The tour guide was very informative and tried to keep us informed in between locations. You do not get off the vehicle but you do get to see most of the historical sites in Austin. I absolutely loved the tour but as usual I like to be honest with my reviews. The only thing that prevented the 5 stars was when the driver did not instruct us where to turn and look when giving details about a certain building. We had people turning left and right trying to figure out which building he was talking about but besides that I had a wonderful time with the family and I would definitely return back if given the opportunity.

My wife and I booked a Austin Duck Adventure tour on the weekend of our anniversary. We’ve lived in Austin for 8 years so just for fun we wanted to do something we hadn’t done before. The tour was over an hour long. It was great! “Captain Bob” was friendly and engaging, talking with passengers, making them feel welcome and also interacting with passers-by.There is a little Texas history and a lot of Austin culture included as you make your way down 6th St., Congress, the Capitol, Warehouse District, the emerging East Austin and of course 20 minutes or more on Lady Bird Lake.We did the tour during COVID-19 and they offered hand sanitizer, encouraged masks and enforced social distancing (limited number of seats).Definitely recommend for people looking to have fun in Austin. Will bring the kids next time!

My family came in for the annual family reunion so we all joined up and had a good time. The driver was entertaining and the tour had some great points. We had a few older members in the group that really struggled getting on and off, so you may consider that it is a steep ladder entry when thinking of going. There was also alot of construction and walking to get to the place to get our tickets, and then back to the bus. Had we known this ahead of time we may have picked a more ability-friendly option. But it is definitely a fun and unique way to show off the city.

Yesterday I was at Festival Beach. An older woman who had been kayaking had pulled her kayak up onto the ramp and left it there while she took her dog, who had been with her in her boat, to her truck. About that time one of the duck boats started to come up out of the water. There was plenty of room for the duck boat to exit the lake in the northwest end of the ramp. The driver of the duck boat started up the ramp coming right at the woman’s kayak literally stopping less than 5 feet from it. The driver couldn’t have seen the kayak from where he was. The driver started yelling at her telling her that he had “the right” to use that end of the ramp and that he couldn’t use the other end because of a “drop off” and that “the police” had given them the right to use that end of the ramp and did he want her “to call the blues” and have them remove her. I helped the woman get her boat out of the way of the duck boat. None of that about the police giving them the right or even having any kind of exclusive right was true.PLEASE DON’T SUPPORT THESE BULLIES OF THE LAKE. PLEASE WRITE THE AUSTIN CITY MANAGER NOT TO RENEW THESE BULLIES’ LICENSE TO USE OUR LAKE FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES WHILE THREATENING TO RUN OVER BOATERS AND KAYAKERS ON THE LAKE.

So.... we booked this tour (pre reserved) for a party of 6. We didn’t get to sit together for one, and for two I had a ladder in my knees and view of the ladder the entire time. For three, they overbooked and there wasn’t even a seat for everyone. I’m pretty sure this is illegal, regardless of the law, this company is highly unethical. I guess they think everyone is drunk because it’s in downtown Austin? The tour guide was very rude and kept saying “this is a public tour” (which I was fully aware of). The guide said to us that we can only get a refund if the tour was cancelled in the first 5 minutes. I’ll post a photo of my view for reference. Save your money and see the city on a bike. Also, with the AAA card they will only give you $2 off ONE ticket- not the group. This company is very greedy and not customer service oriented. We were really looking forward to this tour for weeks and it was a major let down.

Hi, I brought my family for the duck tour a few weeks back. When our boat was on the lake, the driver let one guy who was on his birthday to drive the boat around, then let a female to drive it. She even made a sharp turn on the lake. My parents are at their 60s and both felt very uncomfortable during the turn. Eventually the driver let each and every kid try it. This is so unprofessional and it put all tourists safety at risk. We paid for a trained driver, not to let a tourist (crazy or not nobody knows) to drive the boat on the lake.I think this irresponsible action must immediately stop.
