Fun little park. My 1yo son loved rummaging through the holes trying to find treasure. I had a pretty good time with it too. The decorations really hide the electrical equipment well.

This is a small park, good to go and read on one of the benches. People walk their dogs here or exercise in the open grass area. It also has a nice artistic wall.

I wish it was a little bigger. It was really kool to see all the beautiful and unique art and trinkets. Cant wait to go back with my own little trinkets to leave behind.

Small and worth every inch of the space! This is one of Austins do not miss locations, great for an afternoon picnic and absolutely stunning at sunset. The sculptures and art put together by Berthold Haas and the community are like none youll find anywhere else. Make it a slow walk, a meander; its worth it!

Such a weird, quirky place. I loved exploring all the things people have left in the rock portion of the installation.

This park is a tiny place in the middle of the neighborhood but worth the find! The textures are fun to look at and feel, and little strange objects are tucked away to look at and find. There’s a little hidden area behind it with some benches, and an abandoned substation to peer into next to it. Just park in the street and go take a look!

What a quirky park! Its pretty great to have the shades, benches, and open areas of a traditional park with the weirdness Austin is known for. The main draw to this park is the limestone and karat wall. Many trinkets are hidden in the nooks for you to discover on your own. Look carefully because every opening in the rock wall hides a fun surprise!

Weeknight picnic at Sparky Pocket Park. No table, but a bench sufficed. Listen and look for parrots in the trees.

It is something different hard to describe. You will feel the presence of energy like a museum as you observe the diffrent items that tell different stories.

This is a cute little park. I mean, little for real. Its probably the size of someones front and back yard. Still, its a cool place to take your dog to walk through. They have an interesting city building there and theres a Pokemon stop and gym so Pokemon go is good too.

Amazing... Bring something of your own to contribute to the wall... A miniature something... It could be anything. I left a few hair ties to add to the decor... And my friend left her one year clean and sober chip. This place has amazing energy...

Great pocket park hidden in the beautiful residential neighborhood of North University. It has a charming refurbished former power station available for party and event rentals at very reasonable rates.

Went here Saturday, 11/07/15, and I give this a 5/5 for several reasons:(1) Its free(2) Not many people know about it, so youll never have to worry about it being crowded(3) Its outdoorsy yet artsyBest seen during daylight hours, but if you want to go at night, you can use your phone flashlight to get a pretty good look. Great spot to chill with people or to throw a frisbee / football / baseball around.

This is the tiniest great little park in Austin. It surrounds an electrical substation, but also includes a great art piece in one corner. I highly recommend checking it out. Great for a weekend lunch picnic.

I love it. Theres a small field to do stuff in, the art project that surrounds the substation, and a remodeled building from the old substation days. It looks like theyre working on it...I wonder what theyll put in there?

This charming little neighborhood park is both a community art project and a tribute to the power substation that was once operated on the property. Though small, the parks unique sights make this a great place to visit or hang out.
