The views are amazing and breathtaking. Came here with a group of friends and had a highlight of our trip. The river provides some well needed cool air, furthermore there is a wall of 5-10 water fountains. There is a riverside workout area with everything you could really need for a nice scenic core workout. The grass was very nice and if we would’ve had more time we probably would’ve stopped to lay down.Bottom line: you need to go here before you die, I’ve never had such a great view of a downtown before.

Lots of cool people just hanging out doing their thing. Friendly folks you can walk up to and socialize with, drink a glass of wine or beer with and relax.

One of the greatest views of the city! Love the trail along Lady Bird Lake. Highly recommend this park if you’re looking for a free sight seeing activity.

Great area for a picnic! Shady trees for sunny days and great open area for groups! Definitely in my rotation for lunch spot with a view!

Very cool place. Had a peaceful few minutes with the statue of Stevie Ray Vaughan, played Riviera Paradise. I wish I could have didnt a little more time here.

Beautiful park with water views. Many of the people out here are exercising, which is really cool or either just relaxing on the grass. Its very quiet and laid-back out here. They also have a bridge that you can walk across. In addition to relaxing they have canoes, paddle boats and kayaks for people to use on the river.

A great place that dogs and kids seem to really like not to mention the immortal Stevie Ray Vaughan statue.

Great location! Large enough for big crowd yet able to still navigate to the food trucks and port a podies. Both of which were in good supply at NYE event. Stage and sound were good. Excellent view of the Austin skyline.

Smack dab in the middle of downtown Austin, just on the South shore line. Not as much parking as before but it is still free to park in most places.

Lady Bird Lake/parks/trails are great. Parking not so much. Limited number of spaces and frequent City lot closures.

Nice, quiet park for running your kids or dogs around. Public power outlets available, the coldest water fountains in town and well maintained.

Marley fest was a blast, great reggae music and family friendly atmosphere.

It was a Spectacular Fourth of July Celebration. The Austin Symphony orchestra was great to listen too!! The crowd to Celebrate our Nations Birthday didnt disappoint. What an evening and night of Live Orchestral Performance, Fireworks, and Americans who Love their Country!!

2019 New Years Eve! Great Music & Best Fireworks Ive EVER seen!

Here for the fourth of the July and it is amazing! Everything is organized very well, there are a ton of vendors and a ton of space to hangout and also play games like soccer, beamo, and football. I love this spot.

I just went to a Bernie Sanders rally there and the park was great!

Great experience of the Cap-Tex triathlon at Ladybird lake. I hear it’s dirty and has made a few folks ill, But that wasn’t my experience.

I actually went to a town hall meeting with Elizabeth Warren at this location.The public water supplies were ice cold and this set up should be instituted on a permanent basis if not yet done.Public bathrooms ( portopotties ) were plenty in number and were kept in good condition.Lakeside:views of downtown, people watching, Hiking, biking, scootering, sitting & relaxing, tossing frisbees, etc.Its a perfect settingLarger than youd expect as you approach.Funky Tiki Gazebo!...if youre from town, or a student, or visiting from parts unknown...Come and hang out at the shores!

Parking is a nightmare but everything after that is great! i kayaked the river and biked around it as well!

We were at an event here and the area was clean and comfortable even with the rain. Using public transportation to get there is easy and its a beautiful view of the City.
