Went here for their Christmas extravaganza. They had an awesome assortment of activities and things to do. Lots of free swag (got identification collars for my pups for free-with engraving!). Only complaint would be their were relatively few spots to get drinks with long lines. And they ran out pretty quickly. Still had a blast.

This place is very unique and cool for kids. I had fun as well. There are at least 30+ stations or more. The outside jungle gym area is very cool as well. There is a gift shop and a healthy vending machine.Cost is $12 an adult and the same price for a 6 year old child. Plenty of staff for assistance and everyone is kind.

Went to baby bloomers with my son and he loved it. They had story time where they also included a little sign language with the songs. Had a little farmers market with play fruits and mini kitchen to cook. The staff was super nice and interacted with the little ones. Perfect for children 3 and under. After 10 am general admission is open.

I love the Thinkery it’s family and kid friendly they highly encourage and engage in active play with your children, The facility itself is very clean and there are workers constantly picking up after the kids. If your child injures in self they do offer an ice pack, band aids etc. Wednesday nights are community nights and admission is free from 4 PM to 8 PM. Normally it’s around $12 a person to get in that’s a little steep for me for a place that I live so close and frequent often, I will look into a membership for the year. There’s also a park across the street from the Thinkery that’s amazing kids can play and watch ducks .

Reminds me of the days my grandma would take me to the local childrens museum. I love to visit here when my nephew is in town. It is kept clean and well organized. It can get busy, but they have areas for certain ages and exhibits for all abilities. There is a nice play area outside where adults can watch from plenty of seating areas. Park in the garage to the north and they will validate the parking fee. (even though its not that much) You can easily spend a long afternoon to a full day here.

Awesome venue for young families and grandparents. My second visit today with my grandson in tow. He leads us. Knows all his favorite nooks and crannies—plus a couple of new discoveries. Two stories. Full of sections or rooms dedicated to different sciences, and experimental play zones. No two are alike. There is a breakout area to rest and refuel with your snacks. Helpful staff in every direction — some are stationed at the mentor led or guided zones. There is a gift shop on the first floor. Parking is plentiful from street side, nearby lots and a garage around the corner. This venue is nestled inside a robust commercial development with parks, ponds, shops and restaurants. Plan on at least 90 min to an hour to get a good variety of activities explored.

Havent been in a few years but my son loved going here. Lots of stuff to do, from games to building activities to water play. There are light displays, physics puzzles, and playgrounds. Plenty to do and see for an entire days outing. Unfortunately, you have to walk through the over priced gift shop to enter and exit so be prepared to make the decision between spending too much on trinkets/toys or disappointing your kids.

The Thinkery is a great experience for anyone who has children that love to explore. The exhibits have very little explanation which motivates you to have those cherished moment with your kids to figure it out. Leading them to use their minds, and create in a way they may not be accustomed to. If you have a day off, and want something new to do then stop on by. You will not regret your experience, and neither will your children.

Great place for young kids. There is plenty to do plenty to explore and plenty to learn at this facility. This is a great hidden gem that everyone visiting Austin should try to visit if they have children under the age of 12. Theres an outdoor facility that really helps with them in their motor skills and figuring out how to maneuver obstacles. There are healthy snacks available. There are several areas for kids to explore different aspects of life and help them with their cognitive thinking and motor skills. Currently the cost is $14 per person for all over the age of two. The ticket is good for an entire days visit and its very well worth it.

Great place for kids and adults! Lots of fun things to check out. The price $14 is well worth it! Only complaint is the process they take for adults without kids that want to come In and explore. Kinda awkward, they keep your ID and make you sign something. Great for keeping kids “safe” I guess but kinda uncomfortable if you just want to check out the inside. I felt like I learned more things from this museum then I do with most museums! Info on plaques is easy to comprehend and super educational! I really loved this place but prob won’t be back since I don’t have a child to take in with me. But over all this place is so fun and interactive for the whole family!

If you have children, especially ones who are interested in science of any kind, I highly suggest Thinkery. It is a wonderful establishment filled top to bottom with interactive activities for children of all ages. Arts and crafts, electricity, water, engineering, earth, you name it they have it. It is so much fun and educational at the same time. We spent more than three hours there and could have spent much longer. It was our first trip and certainly will not be our last. We love this place, my son’s class went here last year for a field trip and wouldn’t stop talking about it. So, we took all 3 kids this year as their end of spring break trip and so glad we did. We spent 6hrs here, our kids(ages 8 & 3yrs and a 10months old baby) were all entertained. We did all the activities offered, everything was geared towards different age groups and there was something for everyone, even adults. I loved the little nursery areas, my baby loved the upstairs Bloomer area, we could stay in this place all day. We spent $48 for 2 adults and 3kids, the baby was free. They even have a beautiful playground outside which was the last spot we visited before leaving. There is an awesome ice cream place next door that we took the kids to, nice treat to cool down after a long day of playing. We will definitely go back, that was a well spent $48, by the way, they have stroller parking areas as well as a cute nursing room which I took full advantage of. Awesome awesome place!

This was the best kids museum I have EVER been to. They really thought of everything when they were designing it. I visited for the first time last week with my five year old and one year old. In every room they had exhibits that both of them could play with. They even had specific little play areas on each floor just for babies and toddlers!* The restrooms were centrally located and very clean.* They are breastfeeding friendly! They have a sigh that says you can nurse anywhere in the museum and they also have a nursing room if youd like privacy. We opted for the nursing room so my L/O could have a moment of quiet. * We went to the story time and both of mine enjoyed it. The girl not only read but sang songs in between each book to hold their attention.* Our two favorites were the Light Lab(think giant lite brite and more) and the Water Room(learning about currents). They provided smocks and croc type shoes since you will get wet. Really...they thought of everything! We opted to just get wet then went outside to play on the outdoor play scape to dry off.* We visited on a Friday afternoon and though it was crowded, it was still very enjoyable. There were several staff members in every room ready to help and/or answer any questions.* It cost us $28 plus $3 for parking. $14 each for myself and my 5 year old. My 1 year old was free.

Were at the Thinkery around twice a week. We love the changing exhibits, the regular spots (always well maintained) the experiments and education in the room upstairs, the best story time story tellers and the crafts and fiddling with widgets that has filled the air rocket room. We enjoy the visits with our favorite staff members - philosopher Debbie (you can recognize her by the pink shoes she wears), sunny Samantha (who possibly has pink hair .. or maybe blue) Justyn always greets us with questions and always has good ideas. We love Katie, who I suspect is on a path which will lead to being a museum director or head of HR. We were sorry to see Jonathan leave, but having followed his educational path the last few years are exstatic about his internship and graduate degree. The new faces are exceptional. (Dont Worry. We arent jealous that everyone is treated the same as us, whether its your first time to visit or if you go regularly like us)
