Great Open Space area in Aurora, Colorado, with a pond and trails through old Cottonwood Trees where many urban wildlife live and on the City Bike and Trail System.

Nice place to walk around and sometimes see wild life. There are some homeless persons living in the interior and people dont always pick up after themselves.

Great place for nature experience/immersion. I take my boys for walks here, the little lake has lots of fish and turtles, we often find garter snakes as well. The paths are fairly short. Its a good place for a nice walk. The only thing to know is there are no picnic areas with limited benches, but theres not much reason to need to sit while youre here

Such a beautiful park. Birdwatching, short trails etc (peregrine falcons, waterbirds) with a sweet connection to Utah Park.

This place has potential... However, over the years I believe that it has been neglected. The pond used to be relatively clean, and now it is covered with algae and moss which makes it stink. The main trails are clear, but the side and dirt trails are overgrown. It is a wetland, so of course there are tons of bugs but wasnt that bad. Like I said, this place has potential but the creeks and pond need some TLC. Regardless, had a decent time here today with my kiddos. Caught some crawfish, some Sunfish and saw several turtles.

The only bad part of this park is not even the mosquitos. Its the little dog poop baggies everywhere. Ruins it for me. So gross. People should be more responsible.

Great piece of nature. Beautiful, and in the summer if you have bug spray, youre good to go. Beautiful. For those who read places based on energy, there is definitely something incredibly old and magical to it. Sometimes you can find people practicing magic rituals there. People go fishing, dog walking, and in the summer theres a beautiful garden on the Northside

Its a pretty nice place once you verge into the actual wetland. People fish in the small pond, which also contains turtles as well. Only this is its by a high school which it kinda falls victim to pollution like inside the land youll find trash.

Adorable pond with turtles, dragonflies, ducks (with ducklings!), and bass over a foot long, multiple gravel paths leading around the pond, and around/into the wetlands. 4-stars because there were so many liquor mini bottles everywhere. I filled a poop bag with bottles but I wasnt able to carry many..I look forward to coming back here in the winter to walk the wetlands in the snow.

Surprisingly pleasant walk in mid-May. Safe for taking kids and has some areas of shade- always welcome respite from the relentless sun. There’s a concrete path loop and a gravel path with several grass worn deviations to “explore” with young kids.

Having grown up in thos area and seeing this park change over a few decades it still provides a needed escape from the coty when the country isnt a feasible trip. Love the park however the local highschool kids seem to trash it up quite a bit.

Bring real shoes, not sandals or any open toe due to broken glass, or sharp sticks, lots of thistles, and occasionally snakes. Possibly even long pants. Maybe bug spray. Lots of mosquito bites and yellow jackets. We were eaten to bits by mosquitoes. Its sad there are so many invasive plant species taking over the natural plant life. This place known as a make out or spot for other activities, so if you dont mind seeing people in various states of lovemaking or other questionable activities I think its a great place for a walk, lots of shade.

Wear your bug spray! There are tons of mosquitoes, I realize this is due to it being a wet land but I was not prepared to be eaten alive. This was not as big as I thought it was, but it was worth checking out. Dont think Ill be back though.

Great park. Different trails snake around and eventually connect to one another with an exception of a few. Lots of trees in the center. I usually walk my dog here and she loves it. The only down side is, in the open area with no trees, there can be lots of thorns that can get stuck in paws. I had to pull out quite a few when my dog wanted to go in the open area (off the sidewalk or dirt path). The wooded area doesnt seem to have any though.
