My family and I had a good time. Admission is a little pricey but if you keep an eye out you can find some good copouns for groups. We enjoyed the lazy River and slides. The food is reasonably priced. It can get a little crowded at times. And the places to sit in the shade can be hard to find if it is busy.

This is generous sized splash park with a large wading area, a smaller section for younger kids, two water slides, and a lazy river. The best feature is the lazy river. There is even one lane available for swimmers and a court for volleyball. Food is available for purchase. Picnic tables and green space add to the scenery. We went on a summer weekday and it wasnt too crowded; we were able to get chairs, no wait for lazy river, & short wait for slides. One area to improve upon is the cleanliness of the bathroom throughout the day.

Fun I like coming here when there is not much people that way you can really enjoy the park, they have a few water slides, a lazy river (which the kids and I love) they also have a huge standard pool, kiddie pool area for babies, toddler section and a sand area, the prices are not bad the family had fun so well worth it.

I had a great experience there today! Its a smallish park but there is a LOT of different things to do. Its definitely family-friendly and they have all the amenities needed, including reasonably-priced food, clean bathrooms, and plenty of lifeguards and staff on duty to help.I also want to give a HUGE shout-out to a lifeguard named Mark who went way above and beyond the norm by making sure my young friend was properly tended to. Mark showed genuine concern and put forth extra effort to make sure we were all right. One other lifeguard - I think her name was Veronica? - was heaven-sent, as well. What a classy group! Thank you both for all of your help! Your hard work and decency is very much appreciated!

If youre just looking to cool off on a hot day by taking a dip in the pool or coasting through the lazy River, this is the place to do it. They dont have too much to do, but its a nice, relaxing, family friendly park. Their prices are very fair, especially if you come late enough in the day, its well worth the money.

Lots of fun for our little swimmer! The lazy river was a big hit and we loved all the sprayers and spilling buckets to spice up our trip around the river! The zero depth pool was great too.Ate lunch at the cafe and it was ok for pool food, not very overpriced which is always a plus in places like this :)

The kids had fun. The park was open only to kids with Autism and their families. We appreciated that because it makes things easier on families with challenging situations. Some of the employees however, had no idea how to help OR deal with disabled individuals and so they just didnt bother. When I complained they wouldnt help, it fell on dead ears.

It was very hot and busy and my kids still had a blast! The lazy river was taking a while for tubes to become available so a lifeguard started to have people get out so others would have an opportunity to use the river. The lifeguard was very professional and polite.I recommend the $1.50 popsicle if youre looking for something cool to eat, its red, white and blue. You may also bring in your own water bottles! I kept a cooler in my vehicle so we could get new, cold waters as the day went on.

This is a GREAT water park and definitely well worth the price that you pay. Honestly I dont think it is over priced for all that you get to do inside the water park. I also like how it has a bit of an old country theme to it similar to the them park Dollywood. The lines get really long in the summer but the park offers a pass similar to the fast pass at other parks and its waterproof as well so no worries about it getting water damage. Definitely lots of family memories and moments to be made at this water park! The RiverRush is a mind blowing and stomach tickling ride.

The water park was very nice and enjoyable until an hour later when a kid took a poop in the pool itself. Then everybody had to leave because of it and when we first got there the customer service was terrible they said they had to check my cooler to see if there was any food in it yet i saw about 2-3 other people walk in without having to. And when i asked for the manager he said his name was john and just john without the last name in a condescending and undermining tone. I CAN ONLY GIVE PROPS FOR THE WTERPARK ITSELF NOT EVEN THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE. I might not ever come back.

Review №23

This place is under staffed and disgusting. Pool is known for closing for health codes. For the price you pay to get in its not worth it. Not enough chairs, not enough tubes, & dirty. One huge problem is the slides which require a tube are not managed. The lifeguard who sits at end of the slide should make slide goers hand off their tubes to the next person/s. Many will run pass the line of ppl waiting for a tube to go again. I can understand if the tubes were rented but they are not, so selfish and rude. So this is the type of patrons who attend this facility. We will never go back! Poor management!

Read some reviews prior of going. Definitely a water park for younger children. Took my grandkids and they were 11. Park on the weekend fills up quick so go early get a chair. Park cannot accommodate the crowd with tubes so be prepared not be able to use the 2 slides or the lazy river. Might want to call see if you could bring in your own. Glad I didnt pay full price for the 4 hours I was there.

Friendly staff a very clean facility admission price is more than reasonable I had taken my daughter there 2 weeks ago for the first time and we went back today and bought season passes. The only thing that I would perhaps caution people on is the fact that the concession stand were snack bar if you wish to call is in my opinion pricing. By the same token I understand they have to make money in order to stay open and pay their employees so there you go thats about all I can tell you come on out and have fun its got a good mix of people and everyones friendly so take care

I went with some people in my family. I have a one year old and it was hard for her to play in the shallow end of the big pool where they have a kid slide because older kids kept going down the slide even with my daughter still at the bottom. Also once we were all done I took my daughter into the bathroom to shower off the pool water. Went to every shower head and they had no hot water or the shower head wasn’t working. I even took her to the sink to try and splash water on her just to get the pool water off and there wasn’t any hot water there either.

It is a great park district water park, very well maintained, clean facility and family friendly. The lazy river is great if you just looking to relax. We had a groupon admission for 4 people for $20. We came right when they opened on a Sunday. The only unpleasant things were 1. Barely any TP in the bathroom 2. Only one soap dispenser with barely any soap and this was first thing when they opened so they must not have an opening or closing procedure to restock and clean the facilities which is a little gross. Otherwise it was a good day.

Not bad in terms of facilities but 2 weeks in a row we have been let in only to find out the pool was closed due to health code violation, leaving only the lazy river and water slides available. With a 5 yr old, i was hoping that the kids area was open but nope. They didnt inform me after paying $30 to get in. Then because they had only the lazy river open, you had to get out after each round making it really quite annoying. If they would even put out a sign, a facebook/social media post, warning on their site or just plain tell them to mention this before letting people waste money.

Good water park, a decent amount of rides. Really love the Lazy River and the green / completely enclosed water tub / slide. The swimming pools are not well maintained, however, there are people just lounging there and not really swimming. There should be at least one lane that is meant only for people swimming, since the lanes are fairly narrow and you cannot easily swim with other people standing in the middle of the lane. The wave pool is really nice, however they dont allow floats from other rides which is very awkward and not good - these should be allowed. The lounge chairs are not well protected from the sun, there should be enclosures / sheds that protect people as much as possible from the sun.

Great water park for the family. Lazy river, tube slides, sand area, and large pool that goes from zero depth to 5 feet. Also, sprays and buckets in a fenced off small child area. This water park is part of the Fox Valley Park District and City of Aurora. Residents of the park district can buy season passes at a discounted rate and both this water park and Phillips Park Water Park located on the east side of Aurora are included with this pass. Non residents can also buy season passes as well or pay at the door.

I took my daughter to Splash Country on Aug 6th. Moments after paying they made an announcement that the main pool would be closed for the rest of the day. I asked the cashier why and her response was I dont know, probably health code violation - water clarity. Her response was as if this wasnt an isolated occurrence. No refunds were given, because the other water areas were still open. Who would want to continue swimming at a water park that doesnt meet health code standards? Not me.
