Pizza was good not great. Looks like a change ownership or management. Went a year ago and the place was always full and food very memorable. Today not so much. It was empty with no atmosphere. Young inexperienced wait staff. We had to remind them over an hour+ later to bring the check. Nice table game selection - a definite plus. Wings didnt look fresh. Good location. Reasonable price.

Staff was friendly and even when they were busy they were never rude. Bartender even advised on happy hour policy so as to get our drinks at the best price. Had a smaller selection but all of the cabinets were unique and fun. Awesome time worth price of admission.

This is a great place to take the kids before 9. After 9, its a fun, cool place to hang out with grown ups. The games are always in good working order, the variety of beers is decent and they have specialty drinks if beer is not your thing.

Just visited today with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed our experience here! Liked the concept of 10$ admission for unlimited games, wish more places did this. A lot of classic arcade games available alongside with some modern consoles I didnt really play. Had Guitar Hero, Galaga, Crazy Taxi, Street Fighter, DDR, and Pac-Man to name a few. Will definitely be coming back; think its a cool place to bring kids too (though they may prefer more modern games, just depends on them). Its nice being able to finally beat those arcade games that generally empty out your wallet trying to finish since you die so easily (Time Crisis).Also had two pizzas - meat lovers and supreme equivalent but with arcade names. They had some board games available as well if you wanted to take a break from the arcade.All in all a cool place and wish it had more people visiting it as it didnt have a ton of people there. Note that I believe you do have to pay for admission even if you dont want to play games and just want to eat/drink. Saw a lot of people turned away because of this (my theory at least, didnt ask for details)

Super fun arcade. $10 to get in and all of the games are open play. A lot of classics and most are in great shape. Ate wings and thought they were good. The order at the bar situation is a bit weird. Service was good but not great.

Awesome place to get a bite past midnight, they’re open to 2 AM! Pizza is great, I believe towards the end of the night they don’t have a server so you have to sit at the bar to get served food. The only con I would have to say is, it’s a bar not just a restaurant so you already know how things go down with drunk people. Overall great atmosphere! They also have all they’re arcade games free to play which is awesome! Definitely coming back!

I went in with a friend of mine for the first time and had the absolute pleasure of being served by a lovely young lady. Her name was Melanie and she really brought the experience together by recommending me the Meaty Bros Pizza. It was SO good. Not only was the food good, but every time my glass was nearing empty, it would be filled by my server without having to say or do anything. That’s what makes a good experience. She knew exactly what to say and always had a smile on her face. Your establishment really has some fine employees! I will definitely be recommending this arcade to my family for get togethers. ️

The food is decent but pricey. The arcade itself is nice and a pretty good selection of games considering the space they have. We had a gaming meet up there tonight and they were very good to us so I look forward to the next time we have one there.

We came here 2 weeks ago great service and reasonable prices $4 for kids $6 adults for the amount of games they have. Decided to come again with a bigger crowed, the prices went up 10$ across the board. Dont waste your time go to FREE PLAY same price bigger game selection.

Awesome pizza, I wish I wouldve taken a picture of it because the cheese is just like the stringy cheese you see on television! If you buy a combo you get a wristband that allows you to play in their little arcade, or if you just want to play you can just purchase the wristband. And our waitress Kitty was so sweet! Definitely recommend going there. (Oh also, make sure to get the fried pickles!)

Black Dog Pizza is an underrated spot in the Arlington Highlands. Often overlooked, you wont be disappointed when you walk inside. Youll be greeted by bright lights that radiate from the retro arcade machines and friendly staff. With a wide range of retro classics ranging from Time Crisis to Frogger, its inevitable to have a great time. Along with a full restaurant, they also have a full bar! Making this a one stop place to be. Appetizers are great, and pizza is full of cheesy goodness. Staff is very welcoming.

They claim their greek salad has kalamata olives, but when it came out it had regular black olives. Salad was not great. Service was not great.

Well, what can I say? I’m pregnant now. Their food took me out on a date and then took me straight home afterwards. Wanna play arcade games and slosh down pizza and beer? Come here. You won’t regret it. Melanie and Raul were so kind and had wonderful customer service. This place is a diamond in the rough.

Words can not describe the amount of awesomeness held in this one half building ... like ... no exaggeration.. ya got games , ya got pizza , ya got killer Queen , and ya got Raul and Melanie ... I’m no mathematician, but I’m pretty sure games+pizza+killer Queen+ Raul + Melanie= greatness... so , all I’m saying is that there’s no greater recipe for a good time .

Food was definitely generic frozen food. Probably wouldnt go there to eat again, good selection of drinks tho. Service was really really good. Waitress was so kind. Small selection of arcade games, but the ones they have are good enough.

The food was pretty meh. The wings were...fatty? Is that possible? The pizza was formerly Frozen and looked like it too. Also only have generic soda, so I had an RC cola. On the flip side it was only $17

Our group has been on a work trip from Washington and in these first few days this spot has had THE BEST service we have recieved thus far. Our server Daniel has been efficient and friendly. Would definitely visit again just for the hospitality.

Came here to only eat dinner, party of 5. Learned that just to eat they now charge an entry fee $10 pp. The dining area was empty so I was surprised they turned away business. Not worth spending $50 bucks for a dead atmosphere.

Black Dog is connected to a comedy club; Its more of a sports bar than a restaurant. With that said, cool environment, friendly people, but bad pizza. Imagine tomato sauce straight out of a can that isnt even some mass produced pizza sauce, but the base tomato paste. The crust is cheap grocery store quality (thin, crispy and tough to swallow). Cheese was ok and plentiful, but it didnt cover up the taste. The children at the other table wouldnt eat their personal pizzas just to give you an idea.

Was passing through Arlington and stopped by, great food for a decent price. Melanie was a great waitress, and the unlimited play was a great deal!

First thing that you notice right when you walk in here is the arcade machines, to me that was better than Dave and Busters. Our waiter was great and welcomed us the minute we walked in. Their caesar salad was good, we also had lemon pepper wings which were delicious, better than wingstop they had this tangy taste they were really good.Nice quality pizza for the prize. Will come here again!!!

I went to Black Dog Pizza quite often back then but I haven’t been back for about a year. I’m gonna be brutally honest because that’s what you want in a review. This place was mediocre. The service, the food, the venue. It was decent. That was the past, let’s move on and forget.The present: WOW. That one word sums it up since 2018 started. The comeback is real. Everything about this place has changed. The vibe, the service, and even the food! Pizza, wings, pasta; they still have the OG menu but they’ve don’t better with the recipes. Everything tastes more fresh and flavorful. Probably because the old pizza cook that used to work there was fired. Awesome and handsome pizza cook. What a shame. However, the new fry cook really exceeded my expectations on how fried food should be cooked. Must be a new cook because I met the old one and boy was he.. let’s say.. equivalent to where paper gets thrown away.They’ve know transitioned to an arcade pizzeria! It’s something you’ve got to experience yourself. Retro arcade games older than your grandmother! Seriously if you’re an old geezer like myself, this place will give you nostalgia. This place just feels brand new that you have you go and experience it for yourself. (Although, I wish they added a basketball hoop game.)The staff is excellent and now seem better trained. Before they had very rude staff who always ran the food late and always dropped the pizza when they were on the circle trays. The new manager I met named Erik was a big help. His smile was so massive, his customer service, and his long.. man his wife is lucky.I’m so glad they’ve done this with their business because I can now say I am a regular customer for good! So take your family and smash some buttons at the arcade, get your fingers in that warm, goo-ey, delicious food, and give this place a try!

Their large pizza is gigantic. Theres a full bar here. This restaurant is also connected to an event venue to the side so often times people who have just left that event will storm inside this restaurant for a drink. Their food is tasty and there are also nice looking restrooms in here. There is no WiFi. The waiters/waitresses here are either always nearby or running an order somewhere else.

1st things first: Im A Serious Pizza Lover!!!!So today leaving the Paul Mitchell School of Hair I decide to try The pizza place a few doors down- Black Dog Pizza in The Highlands in Arlington, Tx. Mind you, this is my first time trying it, and I am not at all impressed or happy. Dont get me wrong it was clean in there but.... I ordered buffalo wings, & a thin crust supreme pizza add chicken. Well they brought my wings out first and when I bit into them they were ice cold! So they remade the wings, they were much better. They brought me my pizza and it was so much less than what I hoped for. They sprinkled ice cold to the touch chicken pieces over the pizza, vegetables were undercooked, pretty much raw. This was the worst pizza experience I have ever had....I mean seriously how do you screw up pizza?! They remade my pizza on a different crust looks like it may be cooked better this time.... But to me 1st Impressions are everything.... At least the waitress was perfect,as well as her service, but I definitely wont be back.
