Horribly overcrowded for the time with people standing around all over the place close together and many not wearing masks. It was also way overpriced at $12/person for a night of skating. We went on a Friday night in late October and on that particular night, no bags/purses were allowed inside at all due to an incident earlier in the parking lot. There was a police officer or security guard scanning people for weapons upon entrance after paying. I found this very concerning and dont think I will be back. Also, you couldnt hear anything the DJ was saying, just loud mumbled noises. One more thing, they need to enforce or teach children which way to skate as many kids were going in all different directions almost crashing into people.

The skatium is very clean and well maintained. They also do extra games for the younger and older kids while skating g. They have a arcade and you can host parties there too.

Had a basic party package for 10. Our host was polite and helpful and took care of clean up. Kids had a blast n thats what counts!

Definitely would recommend going there had so much fun for my nieces birthday. She loved it and I loved it so we give a 10/10!

Bit pricey to skate AND eat. For nachos a hot dog wings and a funnel cake took an hour to get and our food was cold and under cooked.

The rink is okay, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The snack bar is highway robbery. They charge $9 for a 12 inch pepperoni pizza that literally looks like a thin crust frozen pizza purchased at the dollar tree. Definitely don’t expect to get full from it, because you’re going to be very disappointed. The sound system is terrible and it’s about time for them to upgrade the skates.

My grandkids love this place the the service and the people are very friendly although the food not to good I will be returning for the fun if it.

My son loves to skate here.We go Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30.Its a bargain.

Kids and I always have an awesome time, you can always find deals on Groupon and it’s never too crowded so if your kiddos are new to skating they can have the room they need to learn without you having the fear of them getting crushed. The food could use improvement but eat before or after.

My kids always have a blast here. The rink is big enough to accommodate large crowds and the offer both inline and traditional style of skates. They also offer skate trainers in 3 different heights for those who arent very good at skating.They have night skating too.

Prices went way up from last time i went here 2 years ago. Me and my girlfriend skated for $15 two years back, this time we paid $35.

The party room is great. We had my daughters 10th birthday party there. Everything was great but I wish more skate rail helpers were included in the price.

That place hasnt disappointed me the times I have gone there. Its a little crowded though. Its probably because we went on Sunday. I recommend going on a week day.

NEVER in my life CANT understand why would you have 2 cashiers to help the Cross Timbers 5th graders coming to skate from 6-8 and had a long line to where the kids might not get a chance to skate for about 30 or 45 min and then your gonna charge them 6 to 9 dollars!?!?! Duh..... No!!!! Next time have common sense to be more organized or more staff to help out whenever you close a skatium out

This place is great, u can bring own skates have birthday partys and eat there. This is a wonderful place to go when your bored or need to excsize too.

Clean, well managed skating rink. Lots of staff on hand. Several adult staff skating on floor with the kids the entire time. The pvc frames they give to learners are genius ! Music is too loud, but no complaints about anything else.

Place is a little outdated, but I like the fact that they have a whole seperate room/skating rink for Parties...employees were nice, skates could use a little cleaning or disinfecting and deodorizing...Didnt have any of the food they sell there...as we were invited to a Birthday party that provided us food. Other than that the DJ was great!!...and the Girl in charge of the event room was very very nice and very helpful!!

Good spot for the kids, decently organized. DJ was good and played edited songs that didnt offend. Skates were probably the same ones you wore when you went as a kid but the youngins didnt mind.

Nice place to go with the kiddos on a Sunday afternoon. Ask for the military discount. ($7.50) Pizza ok, floor smooth, not over crowded, decent music. Go on a Wednesday for $3.00.

The rink could use better supervision. There where a lot of kids on the rink with no skates on and inappropriate playing that want being addressed. The music selection was enjoyable.

The private rink is the perfect place to have a birthday or other type of party. The host will play whatever songs you request and was very helpful in making sure everyone had everything needed to enjoy the evening.

The original package I ordered was nothing like I was advised! On top of that the establishment reaked of marijuana. I barely seen my host . Everything was out of order in addition to I never received the ice cream that was included with the package . The manager on duty did littleTo nothing to accommodate my issues. Attended a private party. Host for party was well trained and very efficient in her job. The party flowed effortless. There was no stress no worry. When I do my next kids birthday party I am going back there. The atmosphere was electrified and the children did not want to leave when the party was over. There was lights, good music, space and a great time had by all.

This skating rink plays music at levels that can damage children’s ears. The level that causes hearing damage is 85 dB, and when I measured it, it was an average of 88 dB going up to 100 dB at times. I informed the skating rink and they said this was the “normal level.” I feel especially sorry for the teenagers who work there and have to be exposed to that for hours on end, and who will most certainly have hearing damage and loss when they’re older because of it

Great place to skate. Lots of beginners daytime on weekends so come later if you dont want the challenge of dodging bodies.

My daughter had the best birthday celebration there on Friday, 7/26. The staff was very professional and very accommodating. Our party host, Jennifer, was just the best.I had the party room and my pizzas didnt arrive in the time I requested(ordered from Dominos) which ran into our room time. She felt bad and allowed the kids to at least eat their food. Narvene, Heather, and on duty manager. They were just so nice and professional for a younger generation. You dont see that often. This place has been around since my old college days when we had parties and now I know why. Great staffThank you guys

I live this place. Its great for meeting new people and trying new things. If your not too shy you should talk to some of the standard skate users. They are usually dancing somewhere in the building. Theyll teach you all sorts of cool things. Its cheap. Fun for everyone. And I skating not so much your thing theres always the arcade for people will all sorts of fun games. Its a great place to be and enjoy the fun.

Biggest rink around, terrible music selection. Take a nap on the floor. Also the music gets interrupted by the snack counter orders..that take forever to get.

Great place. Most of the employees are doing a great job and they are very nice. One of the employees seems a little too interested in the DJ lol. Overall, I would totally recommend this place for family fun (but be careful of the little ones skating! There are so many of them). They have skate trainers for beginners. Not too expensive. Wednesday during summer is cheap skate night. Check it out!

Celebrated my daughters birthday party there in the private events area with the glow theme package. Everyone had a blast including the adults!! When we got there the glow theme was all set up and our host Shannon R. was amazing! Shannon was very professional and helped with anything we needed. Would Definitely request Shannon R as our host/DJ again for another party.

Regular skating starts at 1 PM, but they might let you in a little earlier. When you walk in you pay for admission and if you dont have skates you pay to rent them, either $9 or $10. I believe they also offer a $1.99 special on Wednesdays. There are lockers for 50 cents inside, arcade games and a snack bar, as well as the option to rent out training bars for new skaters. It was an overall fun experience, though it smelled strongly of feet when we first walked in.

We had a scheduled birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. It was not busy at all, which was pretty great for us and all the kiddos. My issue was with the party host. She didnt do anything at all. Typically when we have parties at public places the hosts helps out. Not here! I was refilling our soda jugs, getting silverware, cutting cake, etc all myself or asking the snack bar for the stuff. The snack bar workers were rude as heck too. I get these are kids, but dang at least pretend you want to be at work, dont have a stank attitude with everyone. My husband & parents told me I better not tip the host but I felt so horrible because at least she took my order for pizza when we first got there & she did bring them out too (I served them). OH, and when it came time to pay, best believe she chased me down on the skating rink, GIRL where was this enthusiasm at during the party?!!? She was a ghost during the party! SMH wont be back to hold another party here, now I can see why I was able to grab a totally last minute party time here on a Saturday. Its no wonder there are no skating rinks left in DFW, sad. Maybe better service & parents will want to bring their kids. My kiddos love skating!

I used to go here as a kid. ALWAYS HAD A BLAST! Great music, fun, ice cream, and being social.As an autistic kid (I have Aspergers syndrome), this place made me feel right at home. I never felt rejected here.I have happy memories of this place.

We went to have my Cousins granddaughters birthday party today, March 16th. The staff were nice, it was a Saturday so I understand they were busy. However, the Womens bathroom sink werent working properly, one wouldnt come on at all, and the other just a trickle.

My kids didnt like it here... music selection was not that great... took the kids here for Spring Break.

My only complaint is that it needs to be cleaned. The walls are dirty, the seats where you put on your skates are dirty and worn out. The bottoms of the walls have paint missing everywhere. Fix the place up, Im sure you make enough money to do so.Oh and the funnel cake was nasty, had a pickle like taste and was not even hot. Guess Ill just wait for the fair next time i want a funnel cake.

Casual and fun for a family or a date. Good quality skates for what you get. Hockey style and sizes all the way down to toddlers if you bring boots to strap blades to. Mostly amateurs which is also fun. Lots of discount opportunities as well.

We had a good time at the Skatium! Visited over Spring Break with our BFFs.I just have to say the Skatium has been in business for a long time now, they have done a great job of keeping up the condition of the floor, its in great shape. The rental skates are in good, decent shape.They also have a good selection of new and old music. Its not SO loud that you cant carry a conversation. The DJ does a good job of keeping games, races, skating and music entertaining and fun for all ages.They also have all the typical concession foods and candies.So get the famiy, get your friends and go have fun at the Arlington Skatium!

Its a fun place to bring kids. With skating games and music. Unique loghting and the prices are pretty cheap. We went on a church event with lots of kids and it was fun.
