Amazing ride!! It has great theming, amazing thrills, and the kids love it. If you’re going to ride on it though, make sure you either don’t care about getting your clothes wet, or ask the friendly staff on giving you a jacket. The ride staff are very friendly and will help you if you have a problem!

You will get wet. Unless youre very very very lucky. We had a wonderful ride with a family with two youngsters in our raft. The kids, of course, wanted nothing more then to get drenched. And each big splash landed on either myself or my friend. One of the best rides to quote Emperors New Grove on as well and everyone will understand the reference. A great ride to get a great cool down on. Do be aware that the platform for loading and unloading does move.

Youll get wet, due to that unpredictable geyser near the end. Bring your own poncho or jacket. Still fun though, nevertheless.

This is the ride to go on if you LOVE getting wet. Have been on it during the day and at night and it’s fun! At night I think it’s even more fun because it adds a little bit of “scare” to the ride. Ended up staying on the little raft to go through a second time and didn’t have to get off. This ride is definitely more fun if you get wet, so sometimes you don’t get as wet....a must ride if you love water and want to cool down from the sun! Love this ride!

Great water ride for everyone, but Id only recommend doing this on a hot day. Good amount of turns, and not one, but two major drops (theyre not that bad though).Everyone definitely got wet on our ride, and my right side was absolutely soaked at one point. Even after leaving the park, my clothes were still a little bit moist.There is a place to put bags and larger items in the center, but smaller items (glasses, phones, etc)...well...hang on tight.

This is a great water ride! It is the perfect place to go to during the heat of the Summer. Expect to get drenched and soaked while seated in your moving raft. The ride is broken up into rapid sections and lazy rivers. This allows for fun and relaxation as well as some brief conversations.

This ride is a lot of fun! Prepare to get your stuff wet though - they have nowhere to keep your belongings!!!

We got wet, it was soo much fun. What a great ride. When it is hot outside this is the ride to get on. We even had a first time family with us and they had a blast. My 5 year old daughter was a little intimidated, but she did great. The wife got the most wet, super funny. Watch out for the geyser!!!

One of the best rides in both parks and worth at least an hour wait. You will get either sprinkled or soaked and there is little in ways to predict. The raft does spin a bit and there are a couple of steep drops, but this ride would be fun for ages 5 and up.Also, to mitigate how much you get splashed, have those in your raft use their feet to cover the circular drains on the bottom of the raft.

One of my favorite rides there that my friends and I just had to go on two times in a row.

One of the best ride in this Park. But waiting time is more than 1 hr. You Have to keep your belonging in Locker. You get wet also.

Getting soaked is hit or miss, but they arent kidding when they say you will get wet. The biggest drop is visible from the Grizzly Peak side of the ride. Use that to gague if your kids are ready to ride. Ponchos are popular, but do remember theyre much cheaper online so buy before you see people exiting the rider. Single rider is a fast way to ride if only one or two in your party want to ride. Overall, its a very enjoyable raft ride.

You need a poncho or change of clothes.

Possibly my favorite attraction out of both parks. The ride is always exciting and fun.The walkway around the back is a favorite spot to cool off and relax from a busy day park-hopping

One of my all time favorite attractions here at the park. It can be a long wait at times especially during hot days. You will get wet, you will get wet. This ride has so much awesome decor and random water waves so its always a risk getting wet. I like this ride at night because its usually empty and you dont have to wait too long. The darkness factor plays a huge roll.

Thrilling white water ride. No lines so we were able to stay on three consecutive times. Be prepared to get wet so bring your rain ponchos or make your own out of large trash bags. Warming/drying stations available for $5

Not only low fun, but also every few dinghys You encounter water blow. Full body one. End up being completly wet after 7 pm. Cold and shivers. Well done Disney, poor notification and lame planned time schedule.

Fun ride. Sometimes you can get soaked, other times you only get a tad bit wet. But its still a great ride to cool off on a hot day.

Loved this ride!! Did it three times in a row. If Id had more fast passes, I would have done more. I was DRENCHED. Make sure you wear flip flops and clothing that wicks the water off and dries quickly. I saw many people with socks, runners and blue jeans that were pretty uncomfortable after this ride.

It was okay. I personally prefer Popeyes water ride at Universal in Florida. This one was hit or miss with whether you got wet or not. Popeyes soaks everyone everytime and it was very fun. This one did have a couple of drops and had a geiser that got people wet if the timing was right on it building up & releasing pressure and the rafts coming along.

Not a bad ride. Pretty great actually. But your typical river Rapids ride. Im only giving it 3 stars because it simply takes up a looooooooooot of space. 1/4 of California adventure is this ride. I think it was poor planning on Disneys part to add this ride the way they did. Could have been just as fun in a smaller footprint. DCA needs more rides.

Its a really fun ride but you just cannot predict how wet you will get. I sat next to where you walk into the ride and I didnt get more than a splash or two, but the kid sitting right next to me had buckets of water land in his lap at least 4 times. Feelsbadman.Also, if you dont like spinning, I would avoid this ride. It does tend to spin (slowly) the entire time. Also, hit the ride after dark or early morning for short lines and bring a poncho so you dont get too cold and wet. You can pay $5 near the exit to warm up, but what a waste of time.

Keep in mind, this ride is best experienced on a hot day, because you will get wet. If it IS a hot day, Fast Passes are also recommended. Your standard raft ride with storage in the middle - but your stuff might still get a little wet even in the storage bin.

Tons of fun for all ages. You never know how wet you will get so be prepared. The lines are usually shorter at night since you dont have the heat to dry off from. The handicapped line can move pretty slow since they use dedicated rafts for the line and when we were there there was only 1 going around. Each raft seats up to 8 people so you can usually estimate how long it will take you.

The temperature dropped while visiting during Thanksgiving and my kids & their cousins rode this 4 times in a row in a matter of 40 minutes. Can you say wet & frozen but happy?

Best water ride ever! Only way to ride is with a fastpass. So much fun to chat with other riders in your boat. Worth making the effort to ride.

Check out the redwoods and Grizzly Peak, but dont forget to watch your back, you might not get wet this time but someone on your boat will!Great for a hot day cool off for the entire family, but really good for the single line too as there is always odd numbers that need filling.

Didnt give us plastic ziplock bags for phones, etc (like splash mountain does), and you get very, very wet. Ride stopped and we were stuck on the tube for about 45 minutes, and didnt tell us why or what was happening. Other than that, it was great!

Fun rafting ride! You will get wet! Depending on where you sit and if you get the geyser you may get soaked. Theres no telling. The ride spins as it goes down so you never know whos going to get it! Super fun!

Amazingly produced it really does feel like a bit of mountain forest in the middle of Disneyland - but the ride itself is not as fun as splash mountain. If you have choose one to wait in line for, Id definitely make splash mountain the priority.
