This is my favorite of the small rides at Disneyland. It’s almost never a long wait. It’s fun and cheesy and very dark all in one ride. A trip to the park is never complete without going on here for me.

For me this is always a must ride attraction! One of the few opening day rides remaining. The line is almost always short and its a fun time! Who doesnt love Mr. Toad!

This is a very basic ride but I just love it. We no longer have it at Disney World so to come to Disneyland and get to enjoy it it’s just wonderful! The ride is very simple but fun if you follow the story. I’ve heard it called the cardboard cut out ride which is actually true but you have to appreciate this ride for what it is.

Old classic. Even though none of the kids know who Mr. Toad is, they still love it.

Mr. Toads is a Disneyland classic. I prefer Disneyland to Magic Kingdom in FL and this is one of the reasons why. Never more than a 20 minute wait, and a ride that has a little of everything including going to hell.

Ja

Its a very short ride. They dont cram you into this one. Still cute.

A wild ride, indeed! This is a must-see for all ages; its a terrifying allegory for the inevitability of life and death. To get the full experience, I recommend riding it at least 3 times consecutively, as the repetition adds a feeling of hopelessness and dread. Good, clean fun.

Love Mr Toads, one of my favorites and a must ride if you have never been.So fun, great for little kids

Love this ride. The storyline is hard to follow but you pick up different things each time you ride it cause it goes by so fast. But not fast in speed so older folks can/do enjoy it.You go to hell at the end of the ride. Nuts right? For Disney.Don’t miss it if you go Disneyland for the first time.

Je
Review №11

You can’t not ride Mr Toad at Disneyland, but be prepared to wait. Despite being a classic ride with very outdated mechanisms and a lot of just painted wood as decor, it always has a 30-45 minute wait. It’s also a... weird story, and you kind of walk away like, this is in Disneyland?

Review №12

Hands down my favorite classic dark ride at Disneyland, and now this is the only Mr. Toad ride in existence after Florida demolished theirs. (Bad move, Florida) The ride is zany and unexpected for first time riders. You basically get a toad-eye-view of taking a motorcar careening through a mansion, a town, a courthouse, and a blazing inferno, the last of which might scare children younger than 5 years old:-)

My parents took me on Mr. Toads Wild Ride when I was about 3 and I hated it. I dont remember much of it, but what I do remember was terrifying. Im hoping to be able to go back one of these days and try it again to see if my opinion changes if its still there, but I heard it was shut down.

Jo
Review №14

One of my favourite rides in fantasy land. A cautionary allegory of an amphibian that lives vicariously through his love of automobiles. A passion that would eventually put him in jail and and ultimately lead to his death. Dont let a frog (or toad) drive.

Kr

In the ride we get run over by a train and go to the hottest hell ever, how fun

J
Review №16

The wait time was about 15 minutes. No fastpass available. I would recommend reading the book first to under stand the ride as the ride was over quickly.

Ti
Review №17

Classic fire and brimstone Disney dark ride that takes you through olde London and beyond. A fun jaunt that has an intense story. Be warned that some elements of this rides story may be too intense for younger riders.

ma

A very quick ride and doesnt seem to have changed over the years which is why I enjoy it-brings back memories. The story is confusing, but its a classic ride and a family favorite.

The best... AAAAAND ITS BIBLICAL. Mr. Toad doesnt follow the rules, drinks beer and drives home, crashes his car into a train and ends up in HELL

Another Disneyland mainstay. While not as elaborated as Alice this ride still packs a lot of fun and thrills into a quick and crazy trip through Mr. Toads zany world.I especially loved the medieval queue area. And the the way you are immersed by the wall to wall scenery and sound effects is soo much fun.

Impressed with the quality building materials for this ride. Lots of frogs (or toads I guess), in the queue. Anyway, the ride is cool, over quick. Id like to do it again as I think there was too much to look at but the wait was quite long.

Jo

A cute ride, I suppose Id have to say the best ride in Disneyland... Well actually technical the only ride as all other rides are actually attractions. He he.A nice one for the the younger kids.

Who the heck is Mr. Toad. I just dont really know this story. When I was a kid, I loved this ride. Not because of the story, but because I thought I could drive.

Review №27

Best ride at Disneyland. At least in my opinion. The line is almost never too long, and the ride itself is comfortable and fun. No thrills or frills, just a good quick ride through hell and back.

Ji
Review №28

If there was a movie to precede or follow this ride, Ive never seen it. I have no idea whats going on here. All I know is this frog runs his car all over the place causing havok, gets in a wreck of some sort, gets hit by a train and goes to hell... or something like that. You end up in hell on this ride. Its hot in there and everything. We usually skip this one, but its still worth riding. I love the details in the building and the grounds surrounding it.

Mi
Review №29

This is one of my favorite rides to take people on. Then we all have to try to retell the plot of the ride when we are done. Heres what I get from it: a crazy road drives through a house, eventually to a bar, gets drunk, gets hit by a train, drives off a dock, dies, goes to hell. The end. They dont make rides like this anymore people!!

I have to tell you I am 53 years old, and I love this ride even till today. Fantasyland in Anaheim is so much better than Fantasyland in Florida. And maybe thats because I grew up on it but there are so many different rides there that are not available in Florida. And mr. Toads Wild Ride happens to be one of my favorites. And always will be

Classic Disney dark ride. While the sets and effects in Toad arent as elaborate as other Fantasyland counterparts, it me makes up for it with a fast moving, winding and fun ride. Fun for kids or adults who enjoy nostalgia.

Fast paced fun, lots of corners to fly around and things to almost run over.Even though its an old attraction it is so dearly loved that there would be an uproar if they ever tried to remove it. Plus since its tied to alice, that wont happen.

This ride is excellent and a must do in Fantasyland. A classic from opening day that still is my favorite dark ride to this day. Watch the adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad to get a back story. Walt added a nice twist at the end for the ride.

I love this ride, because the story is a bit insane. Its a dark ride taking you though the movie, through all the crazy details including being blown up. So yeah, unlike the other fantasyland dark rides, this cant be accused of being boring. They have a car set up in front of the ride for photo ops.

jo
Review №43

One of the original dark rides at disneyland... so for it being 60 years old you have to cut it some slack in the technology department. certainly not as cutting edge as other newer dark rides, but it still has a charm to it. the queue and ride vehicles are very narrow, as it is 60 years old, before ecvs were commonplace. theres normally not a line longer than 20 minutes here, and is a great alternative to standing in the 1 hour Peter Pan attraction line

Fairly short lines, fairly short ride. One of the older rides, a little dark both in lighting and the ending. May be a little scary for younger riders with some flashing lights, explosions and other things.

This ride has a special place in my heart because my entire extended family used to go to Big Bear every summer and we always watched this movie. Im not sure why this movie of all movies, but thats what we did. It used to be the least popular ride mainly because no knew what it was and it could be scary for little ones, but now the wait times are just as long if not longer then the other rides.
