City of Amarillo parks and recreation done excellent job.. Thank you for knocking starlite theater out of the park!!! The bands the food trucks and particularly digital one for the sound. Most fun I had in a long time!!!

Great little park and nice playground.

The boys loved it. The equipment is new, the wood chips are fresh, and there are lots of places to sit.

A fantastic gathering spot. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy events.The dog absolutely loved running and playing when the park was nearly empty.

The band Insufficient Funds was great as usual. Played a variety of music. Weather was great too because sometimes in the past it was rained out. The only complaint was that Chuck seemed a little more subdued from his usually extroverted personality. Too bad its the end of the season for the bands.

Went for a church function was easy to find and was comfortable didn’t have to worry about our stuff disappearing and we didn’t have to worry about random people walking up and begging for change.

Love this park its peaceful, but the playground is so dated its been that way since I was a child in the 80s and the basketball court lights needs to be fixed its dark they do not work.

Ok playground, I gave four stars because theres no fountains for the kids to get a drink of water out of when they are dehydrated it has a real nice little garden its real neat.

One of the nicer neighborhood parks in town. Has a good play area and a gazebo/stage. I have many pleasant memories of events in this park and hope to have many more.

My grandparents lived just down from this park and my family is still there so I grew up playing at this park, going to summer programs, concerts and pics here. Very nice park and the stage area makes for some great photo taking opps.

The Band Young Country really did the best job with concert, lots of good old country music. Had us clapping and stomping our feet.

It is a safe park. It has a good sidewalk for running, and the Tuesday night concerts are a cool and safe place to relax.

Nice neighborhood park with big trees for shade, some playground equipment, tennis courts and better yet known for an amphitheater stage which features live musical entertainment every Tuesday evening until dark summer the summer months.

A nice place to picnic, walk for exercise or just enjoy sitting and watching nature (squirrels).

I had my wedding thrre at sam houston park on sept 2. A.nd ot was a horrible experience. Tnere were 12 13 year kids there wanting to fight my guests. The cops had to b called. Horrible park to do anything at. Dont hangout there. High crime area. BE WARE.
