Nice quite park to go fish and relax

I enjoy eating lunch here. Although there were other people at the park, I was not overwhelmed by them. Nice park. Serene.

One of Amarillos most natural scenic parks has large lake with doc good for fishing. There is also a hidden area to this park that most dont know about. Behind the lake in the wooded area you will experience how Amarillo s native folige and wildlife as if Amarillo was never there! Honestly its at its most beautiful point during spring-summer. This place is a hidden gem!

Quiet, peaceful, big enough to social distance & still enjoy its beauty.

This is a great Park that dogs can come and play at the only drawback is no working water fountain and some holes in the fence that have been repaired by various Park Patrons. If the city made some improvements this would be even better.

One of the greatest parks in Amarillo, always have fun there,if you like fishing,bird watching,dog running areas,horse shoe game, football field and kids play area,also great for birthday party and cook outs

Normally always quite i love it at night but kinda creepy as well

The park was nice but the fields are riddled with mosquitoes bc its so close to a small lake and the water treatment area. I used every big repellent I could and was still being eaten up. Best to wear long clothes.

Very disappointed in the restrooms at this park. Doesnt City of Amarillo have employees who clean the facilities at public parks? Mosquito infestation anywhere there is grass. I would only recommend this place to people who like bug bites and feces on their shoes and thats only if you are standing up while using the restrooms. Come on City employees... really?

Dog park is cool, but needs to be maintained better. Otherwise a really nice.

This park has so much potential. Very neglected by the city. The city refuses to stock fish. Tons of stickers in the weeds. No grass. Also drug needles and homeless people living at the park. Sad. Because it could be the best park in Amarillo if taken care of.

We had our church picnic under the gazebo. The weather was great .

Needs a basketball court, nobody hardly uses that other b.s. they have out there

Nice and quiet

This park has been here forever! I came here when I was a kid and now bring the granddaughters, lol. They love feeding the ducks and playing on the playground.

A small park. It does have a playground area for kids, a large covered structure with tables for pick nicks & large gatherings. There is also 2 sports playing fields & fishing in the lake. There is adequate parking and restroom facilities.

My kids love this place, including the ducks on the pond. Plus on top of that we LOVE to come here and barb a Que some hotdog after school. I would highly recommend this place with 2 kids to entertain.

Good place for fishing

Peaceful most of the time. The only complaint I have is that there is ALWAYS trash stuck in the reeds by the water. It seems like all the parks in Amarillo Texas have a real problem with trash. The city cant keep the parks clean. They could be so much nicer if only they we clean. And people, Pick up after Yourselves!

Took the kids fishing and literally had no bites.

Like that this park is not crowded--so peaceful.

Its out of town has a lake and a walk way or Pier that extends into the lake a ways.great for family picnics swings and slides,cook out grills

It is a nice location, but it is not kept up very well. I love that there is a dog park on this side of town, but there are gaps in the gates that are a little worrisome, and the water fountain does not work. There is also no trash can inside or close to the small dog park which means I have to carry a poop bag across the street in order to throw it away.

I take my son and our American bulldog here. The play area is much better then most parks, the dog area is good but could use some attention.

Love this park, relaxing and beautiful. One of my favorite places to go in town.

Cleaner than in previous visits to this dog park. Not busy.

Nice park, least amount of shady people of all the Amarillo parks. Lots of pokestops as well.... Park maintenance has increased substantially in the last few years, as the water actually seems clean(ish) and the grounds are nice and clean.

Love going fishing with the family here.

Broken glass in the dog park and by the lake.

The gun range across from the playground is a bit disconcerting, not to mention the litter and random dead birds strewn about everywhere.
