Not sure if biking was allowed on trails before but lots of online referencing stated bike trails here. After unloading bikes and dropping cash fee into drop box, found the trail head blocked from bikes and a small printout stating no bicycles on trail. Some better online info or even signage at entrance would have been helpful.

Pretty good place to take the family. Nothing crazy. Good easy hiking though youre never really out of eyeshot of a house or road. Great for little kiddos to enjoy a quick hike or you can put several of the trails together to get a longer hike out of it. What I really appreciate is the fact they have a concrete wheelchair path. It doesnt go out into the land really but it theyve done a great job dressing it up.

Very peaceful. Several miles of hiking trails. One of my favorite places to visit.

Excellent nature walk. Not sure why I had to pay 4 bucks per person, but it was worth it. Come early during the summer, delightful views.

The Wildcat Bluff Nature Center has a nice variety of trails to choose from, and is a good place to spend a morning or afternoon. The staff I encountered was friendly and helpful, and the trails were well marked. I will make it a point to stop by whenever I am in town.

Absolutely a cool spot for nature lovers in Amarillo. Bike trails and foot trails. A great place to bring kids because the trail difficulties are not difficult. Theres places for kids and adults alike to learn about the surrounding nature of the panhandle

I love the trails and just being away from the city. There are some amazing views and things to see. However, my one and only complaint is the amount of cow manure that is literally everywhere! It kind of in a way takes away from the beauty of the place, with cow patties as far as the eye can see. I probably looked down at the ground more than the scenery so that I didnt step in poop.

Great place to visit right in Amarillo and when you don’t want to do the whole Palo Duro experience. The have a few hiking trails to try on as well as their nature center. There’s a fee of a few dollars to get in and to walk the trails. Just in front of the center is the 3 mile long old Soncy rd that it is now a paved exercise trail for both walking and cycling. Be advised that unlike Palo Duro, bikes are not allowed at Wildcat Bluff trails. Also you’ll need to be mindful that there are rattlesnakes in the warm and hot months and also a herd of cattle shares the trails.

We came to see the Quanah Parker arrow and found this gem. The nature center is beautiful, well cared for, and well thought out. Victoria was attending the center that day and she was cheerful and friendly. There is even a guard cat (Sebastian) in the HQ that will welcome you (best to leave the dog outside of the HQ). If I were local, I would donate time to help the center with projects and fund raising. There are paved paths that are handicap accessible as well as nature trails out to the bluff. Plenty to see here and worth the stop and worthy of support.

Save your time and money. The trails are not even a mile long, and they’re not very scenic.

I had never been to Wildcat Bluff before and I didnt know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised! We will definitely come back soon. I cant wait to hike the longer trails, but even with my 2 year old in tow, there was plenty to see and do. She played in the HUGE sand pit for over an hour and would have stayed longer. There is quite a bit of concrete sidewalks to walk on, plus the regular hiking trails. Well worth the low admission cost.

Ive come here so many time as an alternative to PD Canyon to get my back to nature fix. Every time is always a new experience. The Windmill Trail is my favorite excursion. I love goin past the windmill to explore beyond. There on the rock bluff, on one of the rocks, I discovered a carved petroglyph that left me in awe.

I was visiting a friend for a few days and this was my first trip to Amarillo. We hiked a couple of the trails and explored for about three hours. The wildlife and veggetation was really something to see! After our hike we took pictures of some of the flowers and played with the interactive sundial and stone maze! We had a great time! It was just something nice to do outdoors in addition to seeing the canyon.
