Cool old train, about as tall as Big Boy, but roughly half the weight & length. Quick 5 minute stop to stretch your legs, but worth it if you are into trains.

Fun artifact from a bygone era. I hope the city takes care of it. The paint is chipping.

Great old train engine. My only complaint is the location and lack of access; due to the chain link fence, theres no way to get good photos. Might I suggest moving it out to the Amarillo Railroad Museum? Im sure it would be well-loved by their staff!

This is a nice tribute piece, the ground is now manicured and has a few benches to sit on. It is also a popular Pokemon Go gym, one of several in the downtown area.

Marvelous engine.It should be restored to join ATSF 3751 and ATSF 2926...
