The area was crowded on a friday evening. Husband and I decided to wait until the next morning to go back and it was the best decision. 9am Saturday morning there was hardly anyone there. Some cans on the ground still had paint in it.(make sure to wash your hands real good after) ;). I would recommend this spot.

A super fun roadside stop! Stopped by midday on a Monday and it wasn’t very crowded. Felt safe staying socially distant and popped my mask on for the walk back to the car. I didn’t care for the truck selling Trump flags outside of the entrance, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t affiliated with the Cadillac Ranch.Once you step through the gate to walk to the ranch, it’s an amazing vibe and cool energy in the air. There are spray cans all on the ground you can pick up and use, and someone even handed us their can for use on our way in.We went on a drive to get here and it was definitely worth it! A signature roadside Americana attraction.

I really think this place is a cool little quirky roadside attraction that you should visit if youre in the area, bring a can of spray paint, and go nuts. But for crying out loud, quit leaving your trash here. Its just sad. Not deducting stars because it isnt the owners (if there are any?) fault, just the people that never had the guts to do something right for a change.

Cool roadside stop, but prepare yourself for the following:1) Discarded spray paint cans, especially the caps, seem to have become part of the artwork. Trash everywhere.2) Whatever you paint on the cars could likely be covered over by something else later the same day.3) When we went, there was a Trump truck sitting at the gate. Im sure its not run by the same people as the art installation, but seems like an unnecessary place for politics.4) Its a little over two football fields from the gate to the cars.

Quirky, quick visit thing to do just because you can, if you are in the area. Plenty of spray cans that people leave behind that may have paint left if you dont bring your own. If you take kids, have them wear clothes you dont care about since the paint is fresh and plentiful. Wouldnt make a special trip for it but it is fun and a good, goofy family activity.

Cool art installation. Youre welcome to spray paint the cars yourself, which adds to it all. Theres usually a truck there selling spray paint for $6/can, but most people dont use a full can while theyre there. Especially later in the day, you can find cans with paint in them all over the ground that you can use. Not great for the environment, but great for the gram.Free admissions. Definitely recommend stopping by if youre in the area on the way somewhere.

The iconic Cadillac ranch is a must stop at least once, if you’re passing through Amarillo Texas. A great piece of pop art I guess, and a icon on the route 66 Mother Rd. I went about 9 AM on a Sunday morning, and it was fairly packed with people. But I am sure it gets even more busy at other times. It’s a great place to get some cool pictures and read the various messages of graffiti that are inscribed on the different vehicles.Bring your spray paint, there Was a vendor selling spray paint but it’s $7 per can.

Such an awesome experience. It wasnt crazy busy when we were there. It would have been awesome to have the place to yourself but It was nice that everyone who was their had their own car they could spray paint or take pictures in front of and not have others in the photo. I would definitely stop again if we passed by in the future. People arent supposed to throw their empty paint cant on the ground but they do so there were a ton of spray cans laying around. Furtunately there were cans that still had paint in them on the ground to so youre able to pick them up and use them. We had a great time. Highly recommend if youre on a long road trip and pass through. Its a nice way to stretch out the legs and makes for a cool memory. Vandalizing legally isnt something you get to do often so It was definitely a great experience to have.

Easy to find, quick stop on access road. Dont need to spend money on can of paint. Lots of near empty cans laying on the ground. A diehard artist would really need a gallon of paint to create base to let dry before painting anything worthwhile. Some folks must climb to the top to paint up high.Makes ya smile, fun for kids and of course if you find a can with bit of spray...leave your own mark. Bring empty bag and pick up some trash when you leave. Park,walk,photos...takes only 20minutes max.It is hard packed dirt but may be muddy after rain. A fella in tented area was selling spray paint for $6.
