We stopped at a few dog parks during a cross country road trip, and this was one of our favorites. The play area was large and clean (not muddy - there were woodchips down). It was usually busy when we were there but dogs and owners were all friendly.Everyone was wearing masks which was good.

ITS LATE JUNE AND NO WAIT AT THE ELEVATORS!!!It was Amazing! Walked the big room which is spectacular, but is a long walk about 2.5 hours, there are small hills the can tire you if you are out of shape. Currently 56 degrees wear pants and a sweatshirt.Ranger Lead Tours: The left hand tour was fun and warmer, no jacket needed. This is the one with lanterns. Not much time for photos, but It was really neat. . At the end you get to hike out alone with your lantern. Only about 50 feet but totally cool. If you dont see well in low light you might need a flashlight. I used my phones light and was fine. The Ranger (Rick) was so much fun, he dressed like Indiana Jones . Lots of hands on artifacts to touch that he brought with him. Each Ranger is allowed to do what they want, so if you dont get Rick your experience  will be different.Kings Palace tour is COLD. Wear your sweats/pants and a thick sweat shirt. You sit on rock benches and this will make you cold. Its about 2.5 hours and beautiful. Plenty of time for photos and an easy walk. Our ranger did not talk much about formations but gave some interesting facts and history. The evening bat flight was ok but nothing to write home about. The bats are small. The area is not a well lit, its sunset to evening so getting dark. The rangers will not let you use your phone or flashlight, NO PHOTOS. They come out in small clouds that look like ash on the wind.Hope this helps folks!

Its odd because the community center is all big & beautiful. Lol but as soon as you go over to the skatepark its just completely thrashed. there is trash everywhere we stayed there for about an hour and a half with a six crew team picking up trash. The park was pretty clean along with the grass field but the skatepark on the other hand was just not pretty

Nice park to take the kids, dogs, family, or for the skaters. This park has it all for the dog lovers as they can take their furry friends to the fenced dog park. Two parks thats are suitable for small/big kids. A skate park for the more rebel teens. Also, they have a big open grass area for your sports activities, along with some stationary machines for working out, tennis courts, ping-pong tables(bring your own supplies), and paved/dirt track to run. Good park to get away from the city and unwind.

This park has it all! A great jungle gym with age appropriate equipment for different stages of development, as well as equipment for those with various disability. A very large grass field, and while my family and I were there, the sprinklers were on, allowing the kids to run and play in the water on a hot day. It was fantastic. Another nice aspect is the police sub station and the fire department both next door.

Amazing areas for your pets to run around and socialize! It is near residential areas so a lot of people come. There is an area for big dogs, and a smaller area for dogs under 25 pounds. Both areas and great sizes for each type of dog. There are also 3 big fields that you can run around with your pup if you dont want to be around the other dogs. I love taking my dogs here.

HUGE park with NDB community Center on the east end of the park. Tons of activities in which you can partake. Like: bbq, covered picnic area, 3 or more bocce ball courts, climbing wall, exercise equipment, 4? Or more racquetball/handball courts, 6 lit tennis courts (2nd most beautiful lighting for courts. In Abq. Ventana has best lights of all lighted courts IMO. The park sees heavy use both on its grass and on its other facilities. But nevertheless a great public resource.

Very very unhappy with the after school program they hold for E.G. told elementary. My nephew (who I help raise) had severe adhd which caused behavioral issues. During his diagnosis they kicked him out followed by his sister who never caused any issues. She was kicked out for because her step mom was a few minutes late picking her up. When I called and told them that my nephew is now on disability and needs to be back enrolled they said he wasnt kicked out for his behavior but because of MY BEHAVIOR yet they didnt kick his sister out for another month. I felt completely judged. Worst care people ever

I like this skatepark more after coming here a few years. The ledges are truly the best on the city, and there are more stairs here than other places. The Euro-gap is really nice, as is the hip. Id give 5 stars, except the coping really sticks out too far. Its never comfortable on the quarter-pipes, which is too bad because the transitions are perfect.
