Actually I was only going past. However my wife and I have enjoyed movies there many times. The entire mall is about one mile from our house.

An excellent modern cinema in a convenient location. The only drawback, shared by most modern cinemas, is the price of popcorn and such. The layout is a bit confusing for new visitors. Take the escalator to the 2nd floor to buy your ticket, then go around the corner to another escalator to the 3rd floor. After the film, take the elevator back down to the parking lot.

Love this place, wife and I would see a movie every two weeks, before COVID19. Love the popcorn also.

I left my bag in the theater when I called multiple times no one pick up the phone. I had money in there and a few more personal items.

Probably the nicest theater in the area. The seats are extremely comfortable reclining style. Sound system and projector set up is on point. Parking is typical mall parking.

Colonie Center and Clifton Park Center have the best cinemas around! Concessions could be sped up a bit at Colonie, but still in all, my favorite theater going in the Capital Region. Avid cinema goers will not be disappointed !

Great movie space, but I wish they had better hot food options, some people dont have time to eat after watching a movie. Imjs. Need pizza, hot dogs, chilly and better nacho. Not to forget to mention - the flaming hot Cheetos popcorn should be mixed with the buttered popcorn.

Unfortunately under New York state regulations, theaters along with gyms and other entertainment venues still closed. Wish Andrew Cuomo would give these facilities the ok to reopen.

I came on a Tuesday for a quick movie. No one spoke to me, not even the guy of check the tickets. Everything was well kept and clean, especially the auditorium and bathrooms are sparkling cleaned. The movie started on time and as the auditorium was almost empty, it was very quiet and nice for the show.It wouldnt hurt if the staff at least speak a little bit to their customers. This is the reason why I am giving 3 starts instead of 4.Overall, quiet movie theater during the week, recommended.

I love coming to this theater than the other ones that they have. I appreciate that you can buy your ticket before the movie starts, pick what seat you want, and then can go shopping in the mall and you dont have to worry about where to sit when you are ready to watch the movie. The seats are also not broken. There are other theaters where they have broken seats and havent fixed them. Thanks.

I havent been to the movies in years! The cinema was very nice! We saw Knives Out. It was very enjoyable. I love Jamie Lee Curtis! And Christopher Plummer!

Very comfortable and well maintained restrooms. Enjoyed the movie Motherless Brooklyn. Totally disagreed with critics used by Times Union as a 1 star. Should have been a 4 star.

Excellent movie theater. The food is above average and cheaper than Crossgates mall. I have no idea what that guy paid 75$ bucks for but it was more than a ticket popcorn and a soda. I have been to both and prefer the Regal Colonie.

Regal Unlimited is great! I get to watch the movies without distraction. Its a clean and relaxing environment.

Love this theater. We had our oldest child birthday party here and it was a hit. The kids had a great time and the customer service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and helpful especially for a last minute booking.

The movie facility was clean and tidy. Polite staff to help assist you. However the ticket prices are ridiculously high in my opinion.

Took the kids to see the new Lion King movie. Was great to pick our seats when purchasing our tickets. We didnt have to rush to get inside 30 before the movie started to get our favorite seats they were waiting for us after a nice meal in the food court

Alway good. Seat are crazy comfortable. Theatre is clean. Audio and video is on point. Pick your seat early and you dont have to search out a great viewing seat.

Im torn about whether I like or dislike assigned seating. On one hand, its convenient if the movie is very popular. On the other, no longer is there any benefit for coming to the theater early. However, this theaters implementation of the assignment is horrible. When you buy the ticket, you are shown a low resolution screen with extremely small text and asked to choose your seat from the diagram. There is no way to tell whether youre very close or far away from the screen until you actually step into the theater. Although you can change seats away the customer service, its an inconvenience that I never had to deal with.

Bought tickets to the wrong theater by accident but they let us in anyway. They even upgraded us to 3D. It was great!Close to Trader Joes too! That is always a major plus!

Wonderful movie theater and Barnes&Noble. My favorite place. The mall is part of my Monday Funday. See a movie then visit B&N. Read some and buy some books. Drink a Caramel latte with chocolate chunk cookie. Mmm. Heavenly.

Very clean, very easy going! No one breathes down your neck and thats a huge plus for me. :) I highly recommend it if youre in the area!Side note, the bathrooms are designed with people in mind so the hand dryers are located above the sink and toilet paper dispensers are at an acceptable human level, its nice not having to contort ones body just for paper.

The theater is very spacious and clean, also the theatre staff are very friendly and welcoming.

They didn’t id me at the ticket booth to buy a ticket for the movie. then we waited 2 and a half hours to get to go to the movie and they id us at the entrance of the theater and instantly refunded us tho which is a 2 star rating in my opinion

The theater itself is fine with nice stadium seating so no ones head blocks your view. The seats are mostly bearable, but I would prefer more of a recline. The picture was very good but the sound wasnt full. It seemed like it was missing something, like a complete bass range. It had bass, but it wasnt enough. Also, the high end was tinny and short. Otherwise, a modern, clean, full service venue.

Good seats and decent snacks

First the ticket clerk wasnt paying attention and overcharged me. Next people were talking through the entire movie. No staff walk through. Had to ask people to be quiet. They kept talking.

I enjoy seeing movies at a theatre but those bottled water prices! Dasani, a bottle of purified water is $5!! I usually just get cups of tap water.

I ordered two tickets via Regals website but accidentally listed an incorrect email address so I didnt receive the confirmation number. I attempted to reach the main customer service line but couldnt get through so I went to the theatres customer service station prior to showtime. I told them I could provide the other identifying information on the transaction but the manger wouldnt look it up and said I would have to buy new tickets. They put very little effort in trying to find a solution. They also said the transaction would be voided because of the email hiccup. A few days later, I see the transaction finalized and I essentially paid double to see the same movie. I then called the main customer service line and they said it wasnt their problem and everything was good on the companys end. Had I received more effort from customer service prior to showtime, this issue could have been fixed. Instead, Ive just learned that Regal doesnt value working on fixing very easy issues with customers.

Nice theater complex. The price seems good at $13.50 per person. We saw Bohemian Rhapsody which was released about 3 months ago. We were able to sit pretty much wherever we wanted to in the theater because there were only about 10 people in there.

Competent and pleasant staff. Theatres, bathrooms, and premises always tidy, no matter how busy. Excellent handicapped accessibility, with the exception of wait time for the elevator (seriously, add 5 minutes for it).

After not being here in more than a decade, the regal cinema looks really nice and very clean. However, I do feel the concession stand is expensive. I usually eat food before I go to the movies or bring a snack with me but I didnt do either so I got a medium size drink, a medium popcorn and boneless chicken. All were good however, it cost over $20.

Its great that they have shows for kids with light and sound sensitivity. But they should advertise that the shows are for people with sensitivity issues. Otherwise I would have made plans a week before to go somewhere else.

Excellent theatre. Easily the best in the Capitol region. Clifton park has a nice one too, but Colonies is still better. Large. Excellent concession stand. Great promos. Very modern. Kept clean. Big bathrooms. Fun for birthday parties. Its excellent, get the best for your buck. Seats are comfy and they move to better accommodate your comfort. Arm rests go up.

Good, modern movie theater with an efficient ticket purchase station

Disliked coming to find other movie goers in our seat, refused to move when we asked, and then did not see any employees walk through theater to bring it up to them. Why bother having assigned seats if its not going to be enforced? (Hardly saw anyone after leaving the movie to ask about it, and would rather not waste a $14 movie ticket to go out and complain about it before/during the movie)Other then that, the theater was clean and upkept, nice theater/seats, doesnt feel like youre sitting on top of the person next to you.

It is a great place but on black Friday it is full and great price

Our $10 large popcorn wasnt entirely popped. When we went back to get a fresh refill, the person behind the counter, tossed our half eaten popcorn back into the popper. I think this should have been tossed.

I was so shocked I have no idea whats going on with Regal. Posters of upcoming attractions were taken off the walls, assigned seating like your in grade school. As if all seating were taken...never. I was told a foreign buyer changed the appearance so it looks more European. This is AMERICA, I like to see posters and have the choice to change my seat if Im next to someone loud or too much perfume.

Service and cleanliness is always fantastic. Love being able to use my regal app. Best theater in the area with always great new movie choices.

The theatre is ok.... parking can be a pain depending on the time you go. Mall shoppers.... my only complaint is the popcorn sucked.... the bag was full of small broken pieces

Great place to see movies. I have seen alot of recent releases the prices are typical of most movie theaters now a days. Refreshments are as normal over priced. The theaters have nice comfortable seats and are roomy. Seating is reserved so you get the seat you want as long as it is available.

Movie tickets at Regal come now with assigned seats (like at Proctors or the Palace) but try to get there before the lights go completely down so you can find your seat(s) and to minimize the chances of others sitting in them when you get there. Regal theaters are clean, well staffed, and always provide a good experience for us. The last movie we saw was Vice. It got 1.5 stars in the paper but I think its worth at least 3 stars because it was entertaining and held our interest from beginning to end.

This is my personal favorite theater locally, specially the RPX theater. The screen, sound system and seats are the best.The new reserved seating is not my favorite but it is what it is. I highly recommend the Regal Cinema app, you can purchase your tickets through the app and pick your seats. If the theater is not full you can always move seats.Overall I recommend splurging on the RPX screen if your budget allows.Ask for your popcorn layered, it gives you a better mix of butter.Happy movie watching

Good theater, multiple movies, good food court.

The escalator was broke and they had such a small sign directing everyone toward the stair case. Other than that it was a good time.

This movie theater is dated and not in a classic, nostalgic kind of way. The seats don’t recline which is a major disappointment considering theaters in other cities have this as a standard feature. The sound and picture quality is also less than what I’ve experienced.

Lots of people in line to buy tickets, but there was plenty of staff to handle the rush and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Explained how to pick your seat without rushing you.Nice experience.

Great experience. I like using the atom movie app, and this is an atom-compatible location. Staff are considerate and the place was kept surprisingly clean, even when it was super busy!

Horrible customer service. They tend to cancel movies in order to play “more popular” movies. However, they do not correct this information online, thus, we have ended up wasting gas money and being told it’s no longer playing by very rude employees. I even showed them the times online and they looked at me like I had two heads. Will not be returning to this Regal location.

Great that they have reserved seating now although I’m impatiently waiting for them to offer a food service option like the other Regal Cinemas in Texas and around the country. They get 4 stars due to a needed improvement on their popcorn and their complicated escalator situation if you park in the front of the during the day and early evening.
